This place is absolutely beyond DISGUSTING. I saw them (while I was getting my pedicure) take the "clean towels" used on individuals legs, to clean out the dirty pedicure baths. Then they took the towels they just used to clean the dirty pedicure baths and PUT THEM BACK IN THE WARMER TO USE ON OTHER CUSTOMERS. When confronted about it, they came up with three different lies. One time they were understaffed and rushed us, the next they seem to be working on multiple people at once and I am not satisfied with my $35 manicure. My daughter attends karate next door. We hatched a plan that momma and girl could have a little nail spa before class at 10:45. Plenty of time since Ye opens at 10:00 on Saturday's. We emailed the night before to make appointment. They replied at 10:15 to say how about 10:30. We were in front of the place since 10:00. They didn't show up to unlock until 10:30. We still did nails, no Karate. Big waste of time. No apology. While waiting for the girls, noticed owner had written her own "tip" on Yelp page pretending to be client. Glowing review. I called and scheduled an appointment for acrylics and was very impressed with the cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere. I was told by the man doing my nails to go with prescription nails which is a full cover nail bonded to your natural nail. After I was finished I rushed out to pick up my kids and realized there was a lot of glue around my nails and the gel polish was splotchy. I called 2 hours later and wanted to have him file the glue and he said "you already left I can't help you". And hung up on me. I called back to ask why he hung up and he hung up again. I went into the salon to show him why I was unhappy and he refused to help me, after I spent $49 for a terrible service. DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON, they rude and very unprofessional. Clean & modern salon with convenient hours and a great location. I live in Newtown off Route 25 and this salon is much easier for me to get to than going into Newtown proper. I got a gel manicure and eyebrow wax. I love the way my eyebrows turned out, however the polish on two of my nails began to chip right after I left the salon. I was able to fix it myself, but it leaves me feeling a little skeptical of the quality of their work. I did enjoy the two (quick) free chair massages I got during my manicure. :-) read more

Very sloppy job. And they are extremely rude. The two women working spoke the ENTIRE time about me and my child, not realizing that others understand Spanish too. Just mean. We won't be back. Stopped in here with a friend to get a pedicure, without an appointment,we were promptly greeted and taken care of. It was a really clean and open space, had a very relaxing pedi which was about 38 but included a paraffin and callus treatment. Also got a really great shoulder rub while my toes were under the dryer. read more

Awful customer service! I made an appointment 2 weeks prior to my appointment, which was today. I went in 15 minutes early. The girl that scheduled my appointment, was the same girl that took me. She waxed my brows...TERRIBLE job! She ruined my right eyebrow. Then, she started my pedicure, but when a customer walked in, she completely ignored my needs and placed all her attention on that particular person. Meanwhile,she never told me that she (Jesse) was going to switch with the guy that works there, so that she can service the customer that just walked in. No explanation was given and,certainly, no apology! You'd think that I'm a new customer, she'd want to please me every way possible, right? Wrong! Terrible first impression! The guy was dry like a piece of burnt toast. No talking, no nothing, with me, but he participated in conversation with the customer that Jesse was taking care of. He did a horrible job on my gel manicure. Then, he started focusing on another customer who walked in and her choosing her nail polish color. Meanwhile, my gel manicure looks like a 5 year old painted my nails, while I was asleep. Even though I shouldn't have, I ended up giving both of them a tip, that they didn't deserve. This is my favorite nail salon in the area! They are always friendly, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and the salon is very clean. David, the owner, does a wonderful job with my powder gel manicures that last 2-3 weeks! He's meticulous and I never feel rushed. If I happen to damage a nail, he fixes it for free. Shoulder massages and paraffin wax are included with the manicures. Best to make an appointment Monday thru Thursday and you get a 15% discount. Convenient hours of operation, open 6 days until 7:30pm and Sundays til 6:00pm. I recommend this salon to all my friends and family. Try the powder gel manicure with David! read more

I have been going to this salon for two years... It was awesome when it was Bella nails, but has gone down hill since it became YE nails, today was the last time I will go there, went for an acrylic fill and was rushed even tho I was only one of two customers, no base coat and the polish job was horrible! The male technician refused to do it over or to allow anyone else to paint them properly... Told me I didn't need a base coat with acrylics and he was a professional.,. I had to go to another salon and pay to have them painted, they told me you always do a base coat and that the acrylic wasn't smooth.. The other salon fixed and painted them and they looked 100% better. I'll be giving THEM a great review! read more

No. Plus, I had to wait basically 30 minutes for my pedicure even though I had an appointment. Not a relaxing experience. They did a good job otherwise, but why have an appointment?
