Unethical. Do not buy gift certificates from these people. They do not value customers, only money. My husband bought me a $650 gift certificate for Christmas which was lost. I was a customer for over 5 years and always had my nails done by the owner. He sold my husband the gift certificate and knew it was for me and still refused to rewrite another card (Gift certificates are hand written) because they have a sign on the wall that says they're not responsible for lost cards. Sadly, they chose to lose a customer that was clearly going to spend much more than $650 over the years. Very short sighted! Unethical, and poor customer service. There are so many nail salons in the area, choose wisely! This is the lesson I learned. Don't give your money to a business that doesn't value you as a customer. read more

Very upset to hear that after 10 years Annie and lee left without a word. I go every two weeks and never said a thing. Very disappointing. After being so loyal to them they treated all of the regular customers with such dis respect . Will not be going back. From what I understand the uncle sent nephew and niece in to run it and moved lee and Annie to Rochester, where they came from. Loyalty is everything and we were shown none. read more

Horrible experience. Took over 1.5 hours for a terrible pedicure she literally put 5 layers of nail polish on and of course it had no chance to dry and smudged weird. She cut my nails in a weird arrow shape. It's just horrible, it's not right I spent my hard earned money on someone who clearly doesn't know how to do nails. I ended up taking off all the nail polish because it was so horrible and they only gave me back half my money,would recommend to NEVER go here literally the worst experience I've ever had in my life regarding a pedicure!!! read more

A little upset to have to write this review. I will no longer be going to this nail salon and it is literally over a $1. I have been coming to this place for a while. I always get 3 colors on my nails. Well the last time I went they charged me $3 extra because I had 3 colors. I didn't say anything. I went there today and decided if they did it again I would say something and I did. I said, "While it is only a matter of a dollar, if you are going to up charge me, it should only be $2 as a gel manicure is inclusive of a color on your nails" I saw that this reasoning registered on Annie's face yet her reply was "Its the company, not her". For anyone who frequents here you know that there are two people who really run this place and I was speaking to one of them. If she in fact could not make the judgment call she didn't even have an intention of raising it to someone who could. Again, it is only a $1 but it is the principle that they unfairly charged me, and when I pointed it out, they didn't care. This is extremely disingenuous and I hope they do better for returning clients going forward. While it is just a $1 for me, they were willing to lose a client over it. read more

I came here back in October to get my nails done for my daughter's wedding. I had heard some good things about them and they are just down the street from the gym I go to. They are in the Playhouse Corner Plaza with Dunkin' Donuts. When I entered Lee was the first one to greet me soon after I walked in the door. He is the only male that works there, and is very friendly and funny. He is also the main one who answers the phone, makes the appointments, and checks with you what you want done. The other girls are friendly and do speak a little English, enough to carry on a small conversation. I've been here several times and I'm very happy with the work they do. The UV gel manicure is what I get done. They have lots of colors to choose from and they update them as new ones become available. One of the best things about the manicure is the shoulder and back massage. They also do a great hand massage with lotion and put a hot towel around your hands afterwards to help the lotion to set in. I enjoy coming here and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality manicure in a fun and comfortable environment. read more

I came here when they first opened ... loved their attention to detail, their cleanliness, and their warmth. Sometimes I feel like an old friend when I walk in . Lee is so funny and friendly and Annie is so sweet and sincere and lovely! Lee can do high end nails and even created a nail on my toe for a wedding ( soccer / Tennis toe and an a short nail! ) I highly recommend an appointment if you are getting acrylics ! They have done fills , gels , powder nails and regular mani-pedis on me. I have NEVER been disappointed. Such a warm friendly group . For my birthday I decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure from this salon based on the reviews I thought it would be a great place to go... I was wrong. Pedicure was ok, but nails were too long. The manicure was a disappointment, they put way too much polish on leaving my nails looking like bubbles??? The massage was literally painful and then when a couple of more clients walked in my technician began to rush my nails so that they could get those clients as well which didn't help my already poor experience. This place is not worth the money and I genuinely do not understand how they have so many positive reviews. read more

Wish I could give them ZERO stars, today was awful. I used to enjoy going here as they're typically very nice and accommodating. Today they had a newer tech do my nails who clearly didn't know what she was doing with NO supervision. I voiced my pain as she filed and filed my nails for an hour and I told her to stop. She filed my nails down to the skin. I am in pain and my nails and their strength are gone. All they had to say was 'sorry' and then told the girl that she filed them too much. Glad to hear that AFTER she did it. They didn't even do anything to help strengthen my nails or offer any sort of solution. I left without buffing or painting them because my nails are almost entirely gone. Very unhappy and very put off by their 'sorry' as a response for ruining my nails. No care for me as a customer. Very disappointed. Don't go here but if you have to, make sure that one of the owners does your nails or you'll leave unhappy. FYI this is not the first time this has happened here. I put them on my no-go list for 2 years and decided to try them again to see if they'd changed. My bad. Don't go here! read more

I did not like the manicucre at all. I could have done a better job. I went to get it done because I wanted cleaner cuticles and a better polish work than mine. I had to tell the girl that worked on me that she missed several areas where was sharp nail bits hanging and dry cuticles left behind. Then she scraps it off with the nail filer and my nail beds were left very rough before polishing. Certainly not relaxing since I had to check her work. She also made one of my cuticle areas bleed a little. When she polished there was a massive gap between the polish and cuticle. I know a little gap is necessary but this looked like it should look maybe a week after my nails have grown. My nails looked bad to me. They looked like little circles coz she left a huge gap between my cuticle and the polish. I think the guy who runs this place is better coz I saw a lot of regulars come in for gel nails to be done by him. I would never go back here again. She was also hovering when I was trying to fill out the receipt with the tip amount and then after she saw it she has something to say in her language to the guy. She did not deserve 20% for the work she did but I gave it anyways and I am never going back here again. read more

Went to have a pedicure today ,the girl rushed through it,I was done and under the dryer within 15 min. She hardly even filed the toe nail I asked her to cut nails shorter .Don't think she spoke english other than "You Pay". This salon is not one of my favorites only reason I went there was because I had a gift certificate. When I came home I had to trim my nails with hanging skin ,and they still feel uncomfortable . In town for business with my husband, and had some time to kill. I got my coffee at Dunkin and saw this salon next door and decided to get a pedicure. Super cute salon, love the decor- it's obvious that someone there is into decoupage and is crafty. My pedicure was good and on par with what I would have paid in NJ. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they open at 9:30, I got there at 9:45 and was the only one there. They still had me wait 15 minutes as the entire staff cleaned their stations and the rest of the salon, which was just really odd. If this is a normal occurrence, have the staff come in earlier to clean, or put on your sign that you open at 10. If I lived in the area, I would go back, just not when they open and later in the day. read more

I came to this salon, as someone new to the area, with high hopes. Unfortunately, I am certain that they shorted me $10. I handed the technician $70 for a $59 charge. The manager insisted it was only $60. So the tech would not be short changed, I pulled out another $10 for her tip. They did nothing to apologize or even suggest that they might be in error. I can only conclude that this was intentional and don't understand why a business that relies on reputation would do such a thing. I will not be back. read more
