OK, it's incredibly expensive! I came here for my birthday! The drinks were awesome! The presentation was GORGEOUS! Also everything has a GREAT SMELL to all of it! We had to wait almost an hour to get a table, and we sat outside. It also took a long time for the food to arrive, but it was AMAZING! I can't actually eat regular white potato, which was why I ordered a dish which was supposed to be sweet potatoes but, somehow it had real potatoes shoved into it. So, my IBS was NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT, but it was very tasty! A bit too salty tho. LITERALLY THE BEST WAFFLES I'VE EVER HAD! Even if they were PLAIN waffles (which they were not) it would've STILL BEEN THE BEST WAFFLE I'VE EVER HAD! INCREDIBLE AVOCADO TOAST ALSO! Someone's car alarm went off for almost 30 min, and was so ear piercing, and blood curdling, that I don't know why no one did anything about it! This ruined a quite a lot of the experience. We had a last minute group of 7 on New Year's Day and they squeezed us in. They gave us amazing service between chatting with the amazing host that greeted us. To the waitress being sweet and the people running food were amazing. We had a great kind genuine experience and then the detail in bubble buckets with the edible glitter. The prices are a bit high. The food looked artistic. Went next door with a $2 coupon for the bakery. The blueberry muffins weren't that great. We have come on birthdays in the past but they really outdid themselves with my birthday treat this year- edible gold and edible money I was too excited to take a photo of the food but honey and I split the sultan double stack: bacon and cheddar stuffed pancakes (omg) with braised short rib and poached eggs. Since i had found them few years back, have always love this place (minus the wait if you go too late). Food always great, spices and ingredients take you off the beaten brunch path. Drink situation is right on the money, from tea to coffee to, you know, adult juices. Service is impeccable, always friendly and attentive. When I heard about the offering of gluten free bread, I inquire about accommodations, which they can do but warn about risk of cross-contamination. Doable, but at your own risk! This place is in our normal rotation, especially when we have friends visiting from out of state. They, along with ourselves, are always impressed. We got the donut hole of the day and they were warm and delicious. It's hard for me to deviate from my favorite, the Sultan bowl. I always take half of it home for the next day and it's just as good. Each visit, both the food and drinks have been served lukewarm at best. This most recent visit, I ordered Eggs Benedict and they arrived barely warm--essentially room temperature. My friend ordered a latte and specifically asked the server to make sure it was hot, yet it still came out lukewarm. Came here for lunch on a weekday with my family, whom I was visiting. We waited about an hour to get seated. The indoor dining area is pretty small, and the outdoor seating was closed. Our server was very friendly and also very busy, but he took good care of us. I ordered the French toast and a side of their maple sriracha bacon. The French toast was made perfectly and the custard drizzle on top was amazing! My brother ordered the chicken and waffles which came with a spicy syrup. I put that on my French toast and wow, what a game changer! So good, I bought a bottle to bring back home! I've had a maple sriracha bacon elsewhere and was curious how theirs was. It was pretty good! I liked the heat on the bacon, which wasn't much but I thought was just right. Their chicken sandwich is huge!!! Half the chicken was sticking out of the bun. The chicken was seasined much like a korean fried chicken. I got a taste from my mom, and that was really tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great food and excellent service! Would love to review this place but can never get in. My husband and I usually can't get a reservation for 3 with our son on weekends and was without him today. It's a Tuesday, at 9am. Was very excited to finally try but apparently is reservation only. Was turned away at the door and told we could do a reservation at 12... You know, I'm not really sure what all the hype about this place is about. We came here on a weekday around 2pm and still had to wait half an hour. We were expecting to get blown away by the food since it's a little further out, and there's a long wait at a random hour on a weekday. It was a bit disappointing and maybe that's because I had this place overhyped. The donut holes that everyone is raving about - I can't see it. The donut holes were large and so the inside was actually very dry. I got a seasonal flavor and the toppings and outside tasted great, but it was impossible to eat the whole thing because of how big it was and how dry the center was. I mostly would just eat the outside area and that was about it. I think they would probably be really great if the donut holes were a little smaller so then there would be no dry inside and you could pop a whole one in your mouth! We also got the hummus trio and maybe I just don't have a refined hummus palate, but they were all pretty similar. Fried pita chips were great, but very very oily. You could tell they put a lot of oil into the fry for these. I've had similar if not better hummus and pita without having to wait as long. Plenty of parking in the back. Would I come here again? Maybe if I was in the area and there was a short wait. Would I go out of my way to come here again and wait to eat? Probably not... read more

Updated review - went here for breakfast last week. Its even better than I remember. Yaz (the owner) is always so pleasant and checks in on you and makes you feel welcomed. I had the strawberry taco pancakes, delicious. She told us to check out the store next door and me and my friend were so glad we did. We purchased little trinkets, spices and a salt /sugar scrub.
