Can't wait to go again! Great first experience with Yaz's. Food was great, and came out quickly. There was so much detail in everything we ordered; fried leaks, the way the syrup snd hot sauce was presented, details on the brunch drinks, and on and on. I was very impressed with all the details, the flavor profiles, and how elevated even those details were- you can tell a lot of thought went into hitting a home run on each item. We got the instagram worthy birthday cake waffle, enormous portions from the 'whole farm', and a great short rib benedict. You do have to order "everything at once". This did not end up being an issue for us, as we ordered both rounds of drinks and there was no issue later when we asked for a refill on a kid's chocolate milk. I would predict this could add a complex situation in some cases. I'll be back!
Didn't know better to call ahead and make reservations because this place is popular but we waited and it was well worth it. Breakfast was unique, huge portions and delicious. Service was ok. Waited a long time for a cup of mediocre hot coffee and donut holes.
Seated at 11:30am with reservations. Informed by server it is a scratch kitchen which is nice. Also asked if we have any allergies. I'm not sure how well they would navigate but allergies as there is Nutella and pistachio on menu. I'd be reluctant. Ordered, received coffee pretty quickly but didn't receive food until 12:12 pm....No pressure here. I don't find this message on the table welcoming at all. I definitely don't love it. Welcome but hurry up and leave, lol. It's in poor taste in my opinion. I've never seen this before in a restaurant and probably wouldn't be likely to return given this makes patrons feel rushed and I drove an hour, out of state to visit. It kinda says our time is more valuable than yours when you limit patrons to an hour but give them 20 minutes to eat and eff off. My mom had the garden bene and she really enjoyed it. I had the banana Nutella foster French toast. Portions are really huge. You can easily split them. Lattes are really good too. Our server was very kind and attentive. A little pricy for brunch. Our bill came to 52.50 and I wasn't able to use a visa gift card which was strange. Luckily I had my credit card. Overall it was pretty good. Would I return to feel rushed for expensive brunch, probably not.
As if this restaurant needed any more 5-star reviews, but here I am because #foodie and #loverofcocktails. Heads up, it's a little small inside, but worth the wait. The food is insane.
One of the best places to grab brunch on south shore with some of the most unique flavors. They have a sit down restaurant and a cafe right next door. The restaurant usually has a long wait but if you're in a rush or want something to go you can order from the same menu at the cafe side! They have the best lattes and some of the most delicious pastries ever! They also make their own hot sauce that is super flavorful. The restaurant itself is pretty small but they also have outdoor seating and an entirely different seating area for the cafe.
This review is for the deceptive pricing practices. I was shocked to see the crazy upcharge for the Sultan. I don't eat bacon so I asked the waitress if there's anything they can put on there instead of the bacon. She replied "I can just give you extra brisket". I was not expecting to be charged an extra $12 for it. Wtf. She made it sound like it was in lieu of the bacon. Also, there was no mention of the extra $3.50 charge for the coconut milk instead of regular milk in the latte. They need to be more upfront about their prices. I like their food but definitely won't be going back. To add insult to injury, we went next door to the cafe and nobody helped us. Just wanted a cookie. We waited at the counter for probably 15 minutes while the woman behind the counter took her sweet time making 2 lattes and never even made eye contact with us. We walked out.
Food, drinks and service were impeccable once again. The presentation, creativity and quality of food is amazing each time I visit. I could eat there every day!
For loving this spot as much as I do, I never thought to write a review. The food and drinks are bomb! Staff amazing and attentive. Ambience on point. Everything in this place is 10/10. The menu offers a great variety, with a mix of both sweet and savory items, that are able to appease anyone coming in. I always look forward to seeing what new seasonal items they have. I swear theres always something new and appetizing every time we come in. I also really appreciate the sweet server who gifted our party of 6 roses during my friend's bachelorette. We so happened to have our brunch with the bride-to-be on Mother's Day, and despite how busy the staff was, they made an effort to extend kindness and make our friend feel special. Yazs deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond in everything they do.
My wife and I made reservations for a Saturday brunch at Yaz's Table so we didn't have to wait for seats. It can get really busy there but the reservation was ready right on time. It's a smaller area and the tables are packed tight so it's not the best ambiance but the food is worth it. They are known for their donut holes and tasty treats. We got the Dubai chocolate pancake tacos and they were very light and fluffy with a great chocolate mouse on top. The egg bowl with veggies was really tasty as well as my wife got the egg shakshouka. They have an extensive cocktail and speciality latte menu so we had to try the espresso martini flight. All three options were really good, extremely sweet but delish. It is on the pricier side for brunch as the entrees and cocktails aren't cheap but it was very good for a date afternoon.
Yaz's Table, not sure I was ready for this! Have you ever wanted to go to a restaurant so bad and every single time you saw a Phantom Gourmet episode you were drooling? Well, this was the case at Yaz's table, but after an hour of eating and drinking here, I felt disappointed. It was an extremely hot and humid Sunday morning when we decided to have brunch here. Our drinks were watered down after a few minutes, so this could've affected our experience. We did start off with their donuts, which were phenomenal, but due to the humidity, the whipped cream was melting within minutes. They have a huge menu to the extent that I think I mentioned I was extremely overwhelmed and had no idea what to order. After taking some time, I decided to go with their French toast, which was really good and filling especially after having the donuts. We also checked out their bakery next-door, which has a bunch of scrumptious goodies. I would like to check out this breakfast spot in the fall and try to dine inside since I think our experience would be much better. I will say the service was phenomenal and although expensive the dishes were plentiful. Cheers!
A gem of a find that again did not disappoint. Josh our waiter is very good just needs to speak up, he is very soft spoken and nice a pleasure to have him as a server. I had the steak tips with eggs and potatoes and my girlfriend had the Sultan again lol. A very comfortable atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal. I had an amazing drink called pineapple mojito-mosa . Get there before they take off the menu
One of my favorite all time brunch restaurants! Brought my girlfriend and her friends a while back and we can't wait to go back. Lines can get long but they do have an online waiting list which helps if you don't feel like waiting there. The food and drinks were delicious, and I love the whole atmosphere there. The staff is very friendly and we love when it's nice out and they offer outdoor seating :)
Our first time here it was absolutely amazing! The waiter Ron was so friendly and nice. Very knowledgeable. The owner came by to our table to see how we were and how the food was. It was such a nice touch she cared for us like we were regulars, even though it was our first time there. The bathrooms were exquisite a Great touch We will definitely be back and bring some friends with us. The food was unique and very delicious. So I stumbled into this place called Yaz Table in Abington, MA. I thought maybe I was auditioning for a foodie reality show because, wow, those dishes! They're more dressed up than I am for my own birthday. Seriously, if your food's Instagram has more followers than you, you might be at Yaz Table. And the staff? So friendly. I tried to tell a joke, and one of the servers laughed so hard I was worried I might get charged for causing a scene. It's like they took friendliness vitamins or something. I also overheard some of them speaking Portuguese. Calling all my Brazilian buddies, you've got some hometown representation right here! So, if you're looking to order a side of 'feeling extra welcome' with your meal, this is the place. And it is cozy, btw. I mean, if you ever wanted to impress your followers without doing those pesky push-ups or buying a new wardrobe, just snap a pic of Yaz Table's dishes. Voilà! Instant influencer status. In all seriousness, two thumbs up. Would eat, laugh, and fake my celebrity status there again. read more

This was my first time! Brooke was great to us! She was very knowledgeable and gave us great options! The donuts of the month were amazing. The toasted falling coconut drink was amazing! An enjoyable meal isn't just flavor, as execution and value absolutely count for something. The Chicken and Waffles were close, but the Egyptian Rose Petal Latte missed the mark to the point of not hitting the target at 20 feet. The Chicken and Waffles were almost great, if it weren't for the chicken... oops. While it was a generous piece, it was a little overcooked with the meat becoming somewhat dry and losing that awesome fried-chicken moisture. About a minute less in the fryer, and I would be jumping for joy, as the rest of the dish was quite nice! The waffle was made from a pleasant and gently sweet batter. While it didn't have too much crispness on the outside, with the breaded chicken, this is easily forgiven and even overlooked. The bacon was thick and had a nice sweetness as well. The syrup was awesome! In addition to the sweetness, it had pleasant and noticeable heat! Speaking of heat, I was able to try their house-made, secret recipe hot sauce. Coming from someone whose taste buds have long been dulled by fire, this one did not make an impression on me. It was a little spicy, but the flavors went right over my head (tongue?). Then there was the Egyptian Rose Petal Latte... Imagine you go somewhere and order a coffee or a soda. You are charged $3.00 for at most 50¢ of ingredients. If you've ever ordered tea, it's even worse: $1.95 for a 2¢ packet of Lipton and some boiling water. Yikes! On the flip side, alcohol: $15 for $2.50 of ingredients... the markup is more in an absolute sense, but the coffee earns silver in the relative sense. Gold in markups is earned by non-alcoholic cocktails and this Egyptian Rose Petal Latte. Non-alcoholic drinks: take some soda, add 25¢ of ingredients, and charge $6 for it. At least you still get the soda (and something to elevate it). This was akin to dressed up steamed milk with honey. For starters, they took out the coffee! This steamed milk had some honey on top, a few teeny-tiny drops of what I assume is rose essence, and the base of a small rose stem which did nothing but attempt to look pretty. The rose did nothing for me flavor-wise, and seemed like an afterthought to make the drink more luxurious on paper. Take away the roses, add a shot of rum, and you have something I'd be singing the praises of (I know, I tried while in NYC). When I mentioned to my server that I would like a regular coffee, as I was hoping for some caffeine, he mentioned he can bring me a shot of espresso (and he loves sipping a little of the latte first, and then adding the espresso). Well... the espresso shot did very little to elevate the latte. It added a little coffee flavor, but said flavor did not show itself very well. As a final gut punch, the coffee-less latte itself costs $6. When you add the espresso shot, I ended up paying $9 for this pitiful beverage. And with this poor latte I've spent over 300 words castigating comes poor execution. The honey was poured in a way that some drippings made a home on the outside of the mug. With this, anything separate from the handle become sticky, including the table. To make matters worse, this restaurant puts in some effort to make things look pretty. The espresso was served on a napkin covered plate with some coffee beans, the chicken and waffles had a sprig of rosemary... but for the latte, they seemingly forgot. My final note is in regards to the service. I will absolutely give them that it was very nice, and fast for a place of this size. However, I would have liked it to be a little bit more attentive, such as with water refills. As sharp of a rebuke as this review is, this still appears to be a good place for some breakfast, a pleasant change from the monotony of greasy spoons and IHOP's. One minute less in the fryer and an included espresso shot would easily make this place go from just good to great! read more
Even though Yaz's is basically located in the middle of nowhere, it's definitely worth the trip to try their Egg Benedicts. The service is good- the servers are friendly and the food comes out pretty fast. Their drinks definitely look better than they taste. The Rose Latte is pretty, but tastes like warm rosewater. Nothing special. The Pistachio Latte is served with a sugar and pistachio rim but the drink itself tastes more of espresso with just a tiny hint of pistachio. Today's donut special was the Trix donut. Was expecting normal halo- shaped donuts but these were donut holes. The Trix flavor was subtle and the donut was a little heavy, couldn't eat more than one. The Short Rib Eggs Benedict though, was amazing. The short ribs pull apart easily and are so tender. The poached eggs are perfectly cooked and every bite is delicious. The hollandaise is buttery and smooth without being too heavy. Highly recommend their Eggs Benedicts, and if you want to try their drinks they taste a lot better iced. read more

This is now my new favorite breakfast spot!!! The wait was long and you can't reserve which is a bummer. The space is small and cozy definitely a family style atmosphere. The staff is super friendly, The drinks whether alcoholic or non from coffee to martini's all were so good. They take your order all at once so that everything comes out at once or in a timely fashion because everything is made to order. I had the Sultan bowl that had 2 types of home fries, short ribs, eggs I chose scrambled w cheddar rather than poached but I'm sure whatever your preference it would be good. It also comes w 2 pieces of their siracha honey bacon which is soooooo..... good..... i see people ordering extra sides of it! My friend had the fried chicken sandwich w fries and that looked pretty good! We were celebrating her bday and so were they in business for 5 years(congrats!!!!) We had the birthday cake donut holes w whip and raspberry frosting and fruity pebbles very nostalgic. They also have pistachio muffins and baklava The service was excellent!!!! The sultan with lobster -braised meat on top of potatoes with a poached egg. The dish came out warm some what cold. The candied bacon is the best part of the bowl. The lobster was okay , I'd pass on it. Mediterranean flavors of lime and spices can be seen dripping to the bottom of the bowl. Cheese cake stuffed French toast -crispy toast on the outside and cream cheese with strawberries in the middle. There isn't a strong egg flavor or texture. S'mores donut holes -cake batter donut holes. Crispy on the outside. They are okay. The amount of cake batter got overwhelming. Looking at these donut holes already made me full. They are freaking huge. These things alone would make a party of 3 full . My god they look smaller in the pictures. The food looks better in pictures than it tastes. The best part is the candied bacon. I didn't touch the chicken sandwich yet. I ate with my eyes because the portions came out really big. 3 orders would be perfect. I ordered wayy too much lol. One of my friends wanted to check this place out so we had our girls brunch here. Surprisingly the wait wasn't too bad on a Saturday morning (thank goodness they had some curtains blocking out the sun for the outdoor patio sitting area). The customer service here was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. We shared and enjoyed every dish that was recommended to us. Mimosa - friend said it was very strong Pistachio latte - looked prettier than it tasted, very bland and watered down (would not recommend) Nutella stuffed banana foster french toast (delicious) The Sultan - FAVORITE (highly recommend) Mini pancake tacos House made Donut holes - different flavor each week, we tried the cherry flavor We all agreed we would definitely come back. As many people pointed out in previous reviews, the wait is extremely LOOONNNNGGGGG!!! We went on Sunday morning, and literally waited over 100+ minutes for a table. We had to go to Dunkin down the street to get coffee and kill time. The food was BOMB AF! Definitely worth that long a$$ wait lol. Two of us ordered the sultan bowl. The beef was smooth like butter and the veggies were perfectly sauteed. The poached egg was perfectly runny. I will say, it needed a lil bit of salt. Luckily they had that unbelievably delicious Ethiopian hot sauce that paired perfectly with the dish. The banana cream donut bites were to die for. They came out warm and lightly toasted. It was very sweet tho, you seriously only need one. Now, the drinks.... That was they only part of the meal we did not enjoy. The royal pineapple crush cocktail did not taste like any alcohol was in it. The passion on the Nile was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like pure syrup and had a piece of pine tree in it.the spikes caramel macchiato was too milky and if you finished it you'd be running for the bathroom lol. The restaurant is extremely small (which is probably why the wait time is so long), and very laid back. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Bring your patience with you and prepare to wait. Just over 2 hours today at this no reservations spot. Prior reviews said it was worth it so we waited. The pancake and don't were perfectly sweet n fluffly. The Grand bowl, though the ingredients were super fresh, it lacked flavor. Same with the egg white veggie omelet.. We like a lil something somethin and the salt and pepper alone didn't help add any enhancement. Service was attentive and pleasant, even in the busy afternoon. Amazing brunch spot that is cute and cozy! First time here and we loved it! Food was so tasty and was served with great presentation. I got the breakfast burger and I couldn't be more satisfied! It was cooked to order and came out perfectly. My husband had the corned beef hash Benedict. I did not try it but it also looked delicious. Service was quick and the staff were helpful and friendly! The only downside was that alcohol was not served until 10am on Sunday and we came at 9am. I did get an iced latte and it came in a cute mason jar! read more

Happy to say this spot lives up to the hype! Unfortunately, the waiting time is also as true as they say. I was lucky where my friend was near the area and was able to put our names down ahead of time. It was about a 40min-1hr wait for a party of 2. I don't think there is any way around the wait time really. Definitely come when you have some free time! The workers and food were both magnificent. Very friendly workers who were happy to share recommendations and walk you through any questions you have about the menu. Their drinks were very enjoyable. I got one of the flavored mimosas and also tried the pistachio latte. Both were great! You can taste the flavors come through pretty well. As for the food, i don't know how they managed to make a simple chicken and waffle dish so addicting! The sriracha maple glazed bacon ... WOW. I only wish they added more of it to the plate. Chicken was cooked great, everything complimented each other beautifully. I will say the cut of chicken I got wasn't the best. Some parts of it was lumps of fried flour or fat but besides that, amazing. We also tried their blueberry french toast and it was delicious as well. I always prefer my sweets to not be overly sweet and they did just that. The blueberries were fresh and there were lots of different textures going on that made the dish even more enjoyable. CRAZY good. I don't care if the volume inside is over 80db, or if there's a wait - this was the best breakfast I have had in years. To start, every single person we encountered was exceptionally friendly, and in a very genuine way. Service was warm and prompt, but not overbearing. If you are a south shore dweller who is very "steak and potatoes" and not familiar with mediterranean cuisine, this is a fantastic place to branch out - the flavors are delicious and I'm sure the staff would be happy to provide recommendations. The place itself is small and cozy, with a very homey feel. Tastefully decorated for the holidays, with stockings up for their employees. We started with two of the pistachio lattes, which were the perfect drinking temperature and had a lovely baklava rim. Though we didn't partake in any cocktails, I did notice quite a few being delivered to other tables that looked creative and fun! The waitress suggested the donut holes, which change every week. We tried them, and they were awesome! This week they were a mint chocolate chip donut with minty whipped cream. Delicious. Tasted great with the lattes! Then, the main course! We got the Sultan Bowl, which was comprised of Short Rib, Red Bliss & Sweet Potato Home Fries, Caramelized Onions, Poached Farm Egg, Sriracha Bacon, Crispy Leeks, Harissa Infused Hollandaise. The whole thing was a perfect sized portion and the flavors were incredible. A highlight of the dish was short rib, absolutely delicious. We also got one of the specials, the Egyptian Omelet. Wow. It had Diced Bell Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Shakshuka, Crispy Chickpeas, Zaatar Naan. The Naan was hot and delicious, and paired so well with the shakshuka. I find it disappointing when people rate lower due to wait times - the waits are longer sometimes because the food is GREAT! Don't have time on your VERY busy and important Saturday? Go get a McMuffin. Truly not the restaurants fault. Totally worth the wait. There aren't many places like this around anymore. Overall, this is a wonderful dining experience. It was our first time and we will definitely be back! read more

Just go. If you're looking up reviews, that's means you're thinking about coming here and you absolutely should! Although quaint and small, this restaurant has an extensive, eclectic menu and the nicest staff! I can me here because this place is less than 10 mins away and happened to be featured on Phantom Gourmet, but I am a regular now! The Hummus trio was the best thing I've had this year and the servers were so delightful. The only warning I have is that this place gets booked QUICK! So when you come, especially for brunch, be ready to wait on a waiting list. We came at 11:30 and got seated around 12. But Yaz herself was the one at the desk taking seats and welcoming customers! Went to this place for brunch and WOW it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely exquisite, the service was tremendous, the Bloody Mary was wonderful and the coffee met my admittedly high standard. The place is small but not crowded, and the owner popped from table yo table to say hello. She took great pride in her establishment, as she should. It was just outstanding from welcome to departure. As for the food, be sure to try something with the basturma (Egyptian pastrami). It was one of the single best bites of food I've ever tried. The donut holes were fantastic!! read more

I Went here for brunch on a Tuesday and it was defiantly worth the 30 minute wait. I ordered their coffee bomb martini, it was really good. My friend ordered the green apple mimosa and said it was good. For food we ordered the basterma & egg skillet, momma Maggie's tirimisu cheesecake stuffed French toast. Which was all really delicious. There is so many good options on the menu, I need to go back and try more. I'll definitely recommend you try this place if you are thinking about it. I hear the wait during the weekend is a bit long but I get why, it is not too big. read more

YT's is a vibe! The old school drapery mixed with more hints of contemporary decorating coupled with the "secret" Yaz scent makes YT a dining favorite. The addition of an upgraded hostess station staffed by a very competent hostess is a welcome way to enter a restaurant. Waitstaff is always a hit or miss. Overall the team of 20 somethings is good but drinks, appetizers, entree, check out process needs to be tightened up. Especially since it's apparent that YT's is on the brink of becoming more than a vibe with its recent expansion to a bakery&cafe. Smart move! The cafe is more modern than the restaurant but has those YT touches. The plant at the entrance is EVERYTHING! And Yaz, if you read this please find a way to bottle and sell that scent. That aroma should be in everybody's home. The best thing about the cafe is the flaky, buttery cream cheese stuffed croissants - pistachio and strawberry. My sister and I split this delectaciousness as we vowed to return for more. Maybe the spinach or the chocolate??? My meal at the restaurant - garlic naan, beet slaw and the Napoleon's Empire with a fried egg was not only good but appealing. YT is a vibe! read more
I love coming here. Everything here is very tasty and unique. Recently when I came, the menu for the week has pistachio pancakes. I love pistachio flavor and when I saw they had this I just HAD to try it. It was honestly so good and I did not expect it to be this good. I thought it was going to be blan pancake with pistachio pieces or the pancake would just not even taste anything close. To my surprise it was so delicious and there was actually a hint of pistachio inside the pancake. I also ordered chicken and waffles which is always good here. We also got the rose latte which is my favorite and I also tried the pistachio latte. Everything was just so good! This place has very unique breakfast and lunch menu that they prepare to perfection every time. Not many places offer a "Brunch with an Egyptian Twist." While waiting I looked up the owners journey which was very interesting. Service can be a little slow since there is always a wait and they have been to capacity every time I have gone. I highly recommend the BISCUIT & GRAVY BENEDICT which has Kofta Beef Sausage Gravy, Momma's Home Made Biscuits, Crispy Leeks. The gravy comes separate and they pour over the eggs Benedict at the table. The flavor of the sausage gravy with crispy leeks is music to the palate. My got the FARM FRESH which was two Farm Eggs, Toast, Kofta Beef Sausage, Red Bliss & Sweet Potato Home Fries. Pretty basic, but everything was delicious. Only complaint is when people bring your food out from the kitchen and the waitress doesn't check with us in a timely manner after the food is received. Took a while to get some ketchup for the home fries, but that's knit picking. read more
Took my aunt out for her birthday along with my cousin, we arrived around 9AM and was able to get a table right away. Service was wonderful and ensured that you had everything, the owner also came by to check on us. Food was really good, my cousin had the Sultan and my aunt had the breakfast burger, both enjoyed their meal very much. I had their farm fresh meal, potatoes could've had a bit more seasoning but overall it was great! I ordered their Egyptian Rose Mimosa and this was definitely unique, never had a drink that smelled like perfume haha. French toast was scrumptious and all three of us shared it. My husband and I had an anniversary brunch here on a Friday. We decided to go early since we knew how busy this place gets. We arrived around 10:30, and the wait was about an hour which we didn't mind. The Host was amiable and informative. When we finally got our table, I could see why the wait was so long, the seating area was minimal, but the ambiance was chic, and the lighting was great for pictures! it was a vibe Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The food was so good, and our drinks were to die for! The ginger-spiced mango Yazarita is my absolute favorite. I had the surf and turf benedict, and it did not disappoint. The wait is so worth it, in my opinion. Yaz's Table will be my new South Shore brunch spot, I can't wait to return with my friends! read more
