We stopped by Rozafa for a late breakfast. The menu was mostly a variety of omelettes and sandwiches. Didn't see many Mediterranean options but maybe they focus on that for dinner. It was a long wait for the food but luckily the steak tips we ordered were pretty good - tender and well seasoned. The pancakes were average but they were a bit pricey for only two. Portion sizes were average for what you pay for. My wife did enjoy their hot coffee though. The atmosphere was casual and low key so it felt more like a diner during the day. There were TVs with football and soccer on at the bar. Wasn't busy for late Saturday morning so we were seated right away. Service was friendly.

This place has a nice ambiance. They have many indoor seats and outdoor seats. Servers are nice and friendly. They are knowledgeable of which food is good and not. I ordered fried calamari and linguine with clam. Calamari was served with a sauce that tasted like spicy mayo. The clam was okay but pasta came a bit overcooked and it came with too much pasta sauce, which made the pasta a bit soggy. Overall the food are great.

Stopped in 6 on a Saturday nite. Not many people for a place that's been in business for years now. Waitress seemed new ,forgetful and not up on menu items . She was pleasant though. The bread was very fresh with a nice crust that came with a spicy hummus dip. Apps were eggplant which was ok. And mussels in a tomato sauce that were good. Meals were a lasagna with a special order meatball. Meatball was tiny and not eventful. Lasagna ok. Chicken parm was typical and just ok. Bolognese was good from what I'm told. I thought this place was supposed to serve Mediterranean food ? Has a rather decent bar with about 12 seats. Cozy place. Overall the experience was just ok. Nothing to write home about.

I live in the condo complex next to this restaurant and my bedroom is pretty much above their patio. This year had been awful for patio parties lasting past 10 pm super loudly. I've called and the phone just rings, eventually going to a full voicemail. I get that people want to have fun but it's so loud that I can't sleep!

As always this hidden gem of Quincy did not disappoint!!! Last min dinner with my daughter we shared chicken Caesar salad and lasagna! It's my go to ! Michele the server is awesome! I don't even need a menu here because she always knows i get the lasagna! Best ever ! Sorry this is the after

A decent spot worth trying, but I probably wouldn't go again. It's a quaint place with a good amount of seats, but the setup makes it so loud. I mainly came for the buck a shuck on Wednesday after 5pm, but when we got there at 6pm they were out of oysters. For food we ordered the linguine with clams and fettuccine bolognese. The portion size was good I enjoyed the meal, but the taste doesn't justify the expensive prices.

Waitress was super nice and helpful and food was good but after eating I saw a rat literally running around at the table next to me!!!!!! I am traumatized Please don't eat here!!!!!!

    Gyro and chips for lunch...

I stopped by to pick up a gyro for lunch. The presentation was FAIR. Taste was OK. The meat was more like a burger patty and not cut off a rotisserie. Chips appear to be made in house, but likely not today. The place looks good and the person who took my order was polite.

We ordered the Zucchini Fries which were amazing! Super crispy and the aioli paired perfectly with the flavors of the fries. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp Alla Busara...a dish that brought me back to when I was small and my uncle would prepare a similar dish. Each ingredient in the delicious sauce shined through in a beautiful way. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and almost had the taste and consistency of lobster. There was a generous slice of crusty bread which I used to sop the sauce at the end. My god it was good. Paired with a great little off the menu but on the menu side salad of fennel, orange and arugula, this was the perfect portioned meal for me. My mom had the small portion of the Vodka Radiatori which was spicy the way she likes. Jessica checked in and gave our compliments to the chef!! For dessert we had the perfectly portioned small Pistachio Cannoli. The filling was exquisite with a hint of orange which elevated the ricotta to a delectable level! This was a STELLAR meal made all the better by our server, Jessica! We arrived on the early side just after they opened so the ambiance was still rather quiet and subdued. By the time we left more tables had filled and the place was really coming to life. Highly highly recommend if you are in search of some very well prepared Italian food. It was obvious the chefs put a lot of love into what they serve! Well done. Complimenti allo cuosco!!

Food: everything from the focaccia to the salads, pastas, pork milanese, desserts, and drinks were wonderful. Speedy and kind service. You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. See my separate review of this wonderful musical performance. The Scarlet Oak Tavern is situated in an historic colonial house that has a fireplace and outdoor seating. The atmosphere here is always charming, wide plank wooden floors, cozy rooms, and plenty of them, and a charming bar. The servers are always polite and smiling. I have been here many times over the years with many different people, friends and family and it is fairly consistently wonderful. I don't recall having a bad meal here ever. There is a lovely room that has a fireplace when you first enter the establishment. It is especially nice in the winter when the fire is roaring and we have a toasty drink to make everything extra cozy. However, it is equally pleasant in May! My sister and I shared several appetizers, which together constituted a delicious meal for each of us. We ordered an appetizer called Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Ribs that came with four very meaty flavorful ribs. We ordered two separate sides of the delicious mashed potatoes that they serve at this establishment. We also ordered one very large crab cake appetizer we ate the crabcake first. We then placed the ribs on top of the mashed potatoes with a couple of the delicious pickles that were served with the ribs. It was absolutely scrumptious. See the photo! For dessert, I ordered a flourless Flourless Chocolate Cake with crumbled peanut brittle served with a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. The cake was moist and delicious with almost a rich pudding consistency inside it contrasted amazingly well with a flavorful crunchy topping of peanut brittle and a smooth cold refreshing mound of ice cream. In a word this dessert was as maddeningly delicious as it sounds. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but it was definitely disappointing given how much I usually love this place!

Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. What we didn't understand was why we got so little pasta in the dish. To be honest, it seemed like we got half an order of the buccatini which was a shame since the shellfish was great, sauce was great and again, pasta cooked perfectly. We will make sure to ask for more when we return. The focaccia and butter to mop up the remaining sauce at the end was phenomenal. We will probably try to order meatballs, sauce and bread & butter next time. It should be on the menu. The burger was also excellent. The burger itself was extremely tasty, I hope they don't move to cheaper beef due to rising prices. Add a dollar if you need to. Overall, a great night.
