Service was great! I loved that they gave free samples to try the entrees but this is not creole food at all! My rice was very over cooked and was mush and the drunken chicken was good but I wouldn't eat here again.

AB greeted me with a warm smile during a very cold wintery Indiana day and served a warm delicious drunken chicken. Refreshing option to fast food. Will be back.

Place located next to Goodwill in an empty shopping area with plenty of parking space. Inside, they have big dining area. Almost like used to be a asian buffet or bar dining restaurant. I asked the waiter before ordering. If the Lobster bisque soup using real lobster or not. He said yes. When it came out, all I can taste was "lobster/fish stick" - surimi. The soup also tastes burn and found the clumped powder at the bottom. The fish and shrimp are completely tasteless. Saw other people reviewed. Not even salty, seasoning or taste anything at all. Bland. Same with fries. Only taste the cajun seasoning on top. I was hungry but lost my appetite from all the food. Most people order the steamed mixed cajun in a bag. They might have taste with all the mixed seasoning. Hopefully they can improve next time.

I was hoping I'd find a good place to get fries and seafood, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality at Wild Crab. The restaurant was moderately empty on a Sunday, with some light pop song remixes playing in the background. It was a large area that felt very clean and well-taken care of. Despite there only being one server, we were attended to fairly quickly and we were always checked on periodically to make sure everything was okay! My boyfriend and I ordered a shrimp/calamari basket, lobster bisque, and a fish po' boy. Everything was hot and fresh, and the cajun fries especially had a nice crunch and flavor. I think the po' boy could have used more sauce, and I consider it the weakest of what we got flavor-wise. Surprisingly, the bisque was really, really good! I'm not usually a fan of it, but this is probably one of the few places that make it in a way I love - it was creamy, savory, and a good amount. We'll come back when we have another seafood craving!

Big Eyed Fish on Wells Street - when you have a craving for Fish & Stroh style fish and tarter…read moresauce Yes, I know that I could go to Stroh to get this old time flavor. However, Big Eyed Fish is pretty good fish in its own right, local...and flavored like the taste I remember from the past. We visited the Big Eyed Fish location on Well's street. They have an express shop located on Huegenard Road and another dine in location at Leo Crossing. This location has been in service since 2003. It has a nice diner feel with super friendly service. You can find parking on the street or in the lot behind the store. The inside is rather large and works well for parties up to about 8 diners. There is a small bar and TV's if that is your thing. They also have a big and varied menu including breakfast items. Here is a run down of the food items: -Fried Fish: the white fish fillet is thin and fried with a thin breading. The fish is moist and tender. It will flake apart with a fork or by hand. The breading has a slight amount of seasoning and isn't very oily to taste. It has a taste similar to the Fish & Stroh style if you are familiar with that. The fillets are not very filling. For an extra $3...I went with the all you can eat option. Delicious fish! -Tarter Sauce: I love tarter sauce. In fact I might order fish to go with my tarter sauce - lol. This mayo based sauce is reasonably thick, somewhat sweet and has a hint of pickle flavoring. It's creamy and makes a perfect complement to the fried fish flavor. -Baked Beans: this side really surprised me. The bean is small and contained hamburger pieces. The sauce had a slight BBQ flavor but not enough to classify it as a BBQ baked bean dish. The meat flavor was a nice add to the smooth tomato spiced sauce. Delicious!! -Cole Slaw: I kind of use KFC as the standard for Cole Slaw. This is very similar. The slaw pieces are cut very small with only one kind of slaw. Seemingly no additives - just slaw. The sauce is mayo based, a bit more sweet along with a hint of vinegar. I loved this side too! -Hush Puppies: these balls are pretty small in diameter. The inside is very modista and sweet with that southern style corn bread taste. The outside is thicker, a bit oily to taste and has a mild corn bread taste/texture. These are probably some of the best hush puppies I've had in my southern raised life.

As a seafood lover, I was sold just based on the name alone The building itself is pretty cool. We were told it dates back to the 1880s and is the 2nd oldest building in Indiana behind some other one in Indianapolis. You can definitely feel the history when you walk in. The place is small, with only about 14 tables, and everything is packed in pretty tight, but that's part of what gives it character. The old bar immediately grabbed my attention and looked like it hadn't changed much in over a century We started with the Parmesan baked oysters, which were outstanding and surprisingly fresh for being in the Midwest The homemade clam chowder was loaded with clams and flavor. It was so good it didn't need anything added to it. We also ordered a couple of smoked Old Fashioneds that were a great way to start the night I wanted sea bass, but they were out, so I went with the walleye fish and chips. It's honestly hard for me to pass up fish and chips when they're on a menu, I'm glad I did. The fish was well-seasoned and on point My wife went with a seafood combo that included seafood au gratin, bay scallops, shrimp, crab, applewood bacon risotto, and baked in a lobster creamy sauce Being in Fort Wayne for just one night, this ended up being a great find. The food was excellent, the service was friendly (Shoutout Lindsay) and the whole place had a nostalgic feel that made the experience even better If you're passing through and in the mood for seafood or live locally, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

The flavor is bold and the cheese is thick and what a cheese pull! My mouth just watered at this! We also had a pretzel bread. It came with delicious, sweet cinnamon butter. We loved it! For our main, we ordered the steak medallions and mushroom risotto. People...... The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! It was so easy to cut, and it melted on your mouth. The seasoning was delicious! The mushroom risotto was the perfect consistency--creamy and scrumptious goodness. This dish is PHENOMENAL!!! To finish, we had a warm, moist, and delicious carrot cake with cream cheese icing, caramel drizzle, and topped with walnuts. There is cinnamon ice cream on the side. We were so happy because most times, carrot cake we order out is dry--but THIS cake was TOP NOTCH! Megan, our server, was kind and prompt. She kept our drinks filled, and she did an excellent job at timing things to come out to us. Baker Street Steakhouse is a MUST-have restaurant in Fort Wayne. You won't be sorry for going.

These were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness! The seasoning was amazing! Very delicious. The only issue was the one long strand of hair on the edge of my plate. I spoke to the server about it to make sure better care is taken in food prep in the kitchen. She said she'd talk to the manager. Husband received a free birthday dessert. After almost ten min she ran by to tell us that she would be back and if she could take out drink order really quick. Since we didn't know what they had besides the water the host already poured, she presided to brush us off to say she'd be back after she delivered some salads not telling us anything. After looking over the menu for a handful of min and watching her greet her other tables she finally came over with the same question.... what do you want (essentially). We asked about drinks and what some of the menu items were. She was very short and unpersonable. She didn't tell us any of the daily specials, we had to pull her back to ask about soups since we had over heard another server telling his table about them. After I grabbed her another time for full size waters she seemed to get better Our food came out pretty fast. Everything was... basically what I expected. I ordered the chicken Kiev with onion rings and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese just tasted like noodles, I couldn't taste the cheese, and the chicken was good except it needed salt on the chicken, but since it was fried it was to late to season the meat. A friend got the smothered sirloin which she enjoyed, but she didn't like the sweet potatoes which were mashed. My sister ordered the fish she liked and the potatoes which has jalapeños in the sauce so it was spicy. All in all once we got our food things went a lot smoother and more enjoyable experience.
