She was also very attentive at first, but then toward the end of our meal, it was hard to get her attention. We had asked her about the pies, but she dropped our bills off at the table without seeing if we wanted anything else and it was difficult to get her back to the table. Rather than trying one of the pies, I opted for the $1 dessert special they were having that day, which was the cheesecake. It was very good. I thought it might be a small piece, since it was only $1, but it was actually a full piece. Nice to have a special like that. Two others in my family tried pie, and enjoyed them very much. I got a taste of the chocolate cream pie and it was indeed yummy. One more thing. The prices are RIDICULOUS!! And I mean that in the best possible way. Speaking with the General Manager, Michelle, was pointless. She didn't offer an apology for the poor service, but defended her server. The manager let the customers know that they were short staffed; however, they should try to make an effort to acknowledge the guests at the front staff. I'm not mad at the experience because my food was good; however, I am big on customer service.
