Then we remembered seeing 535 Plumbing trucks often parked downstairs and at other buildings nearby, and gave them a call. They asked my husband for some photos, gave him an estimate, and sent someone over that afternoon. The plumber was running late but kept us informed about when he would be arriving. Once he got here, he was very courteous, professional, and did what he had to do. He answered our questions clearly in layman's terms for us to understand. A second plumber stopped by briefly to help him. We paid what was originally quoted to us. We were very satisfied with the quality of work done and now have a new favorite go-to plumbing company to call on!

I had them come out and do a camera inspection. The report says everything is all good. Nothing abnormal. Had a second plumber come out. Basically says that I need to completely redo my pipes because the plumbing is extremely old and falling apart with pictures and video After contacting 535 plumbing they asked what could they do to make it right. I told them that I'd like 50% back. They came back and said after careful inspection we cannot give you back 50% so I'm not really sure what they were going to do for me. Their process is extremely broken because at the bottom of the receipt and work order. It says that the line manager has the final say but I never got a call or email from the line manager saying that the initial report was 100% wrong. All I got was an estimate for replumbing the entire drains but nothing that said that the report was erroneous after having three other plumbers come out, which they all agreed the pipes needed to be replaced. I didn't get a video or pictures of the pipe. Only a small paragraph that said nothing abnormal noticed. I'm not a plumber that's why I'm paying plumbing companies to come out and do the work and I trust that they're going to do their best so I cannot be the one to verify their work. But but in the end I really need my plumbing to work and not feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. Eventually the owner caught wind of this and called me up. Credited me back $100 but I wish I had seen the reviews that this company has gotten in the past few months. I couldn't even figure out how to stop the water from coming out and within minutes water was pouring down the stairs and leaking into the floors below the kitchen. After calling everyone I could think of, including the board of water supply, with no one providing any help, I typed in "plumbers" into Yelp and started cold calling down the list. First Class Plumbing was the third company listed but the first one that seemed to care. I was warned that I was calling after hours so I'd have an emergency fee if I wanted service now... I joked "fine - this is an emergency" and was told I'd get a call back as soon as they could get ahold of one of their plumbers. I went back to trying to heave buckets of water into a nearby sink and received a call back 15 minutes later. The plumber was so calm, and after hearing that I was still dealing with gushing water, explained to me how to stop the water flow. He asked me to send him pictures of the burst pipe and the faucet and got off the phone to price everything out including replacing the pipes and faucet. After doing all that work he told me what the cost would be and then said it was no worries if given the price I didn't want to continue on - or at least wait until it wasn't an emergency (an extra $150 charge). I said I definitely wanted the service and he came right out and fixed the burst pipe. I would already have been raving about this place for their competent service if it had been a normal scheduled appointment. But the fact that this company and the plumber were there for me when no one else was, and went above and beyond walk me through how to stop the problems and extremely quickly look into part costs for me before I ever even agreed to the service has made me a loyal customer forever!

Whitley arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to talk to. It was fun chatting football with him -- he comes from an impressive football family! We immediately let our landlord know and they gave me this number to call and make an appointment. So I called the next morning at 9:30 am and Louise answered! I told her my water heater only has cold water and no more hot water. She said that Martin could come to me same day to look at it. She needed to speak to my landlord first before going thru with the job. When she called me back at 10:15am, she said that she's guessing the eta would be around 1-2pm or 1-3pm as they were currently on a job in Kapolei and would call me back with a definite eta. We were waiting until I called Louise back at 2:30pm if she had an eta but no answer... Christopher, the son, he called me 5 minutes later saying they just finished in Kapolei and they still needed to get the water heater before coming to us. So we asked to reschedule for the next day in the morning. Next day, they arrived at 8:40am. They quoted me an estimate time of 1-2 hours to replace the water heater depending on difficulty. Well, it's now 5/18, and I still have not received a call back from them. I guess they're too busy to deal with my leak. If that's the case, I would've called other companies to come out. Outstanding Service from Start to Finish!…read more We recently had a HALO H2Zero Ultimate whole-house water filtration system installed by Allen's Plumbing, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the very first phone call, Corrine was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and professional, making the scheduling process easy and stress-free. In today's world, it's rare to find someone who communicates so well and genuinely cares about the customer experience. Our technician, Ty, was outstanding. He took tremendous pride in his work, patiently answered all of our questions, and clearly explained the system, maintenance requirements, and warranty. His craftsmanship was exceptional. The copper piping installation is clean, organized, and looks like it belongs in a plumbing showcase. You can immediately tell that Ty values doing the job the right way rather than simply finishing it quickly. We invested in a HALO H2Zero Ultimate system with a Sediment Guard pre-filter, and Allen's Plumbing installed everything beautifully with bypass valves, high-quality copper work, and a layout that will be easy to maintain for years to come. What impressed me most was the professionalism of everyone involved. From Corrine's communication to Ty's workmanship, the entire team demonstrated honesty, expertise, and genuine pride in what they do. If you're looking for a plumbing company on Oʻahu that shows up, communicates well, and delivers top-quality workmanship, I highly recommend Allen's Plumbing. As a home owner you have a lot of responsibilities where you need to juggle many responsibilities such as but not limited to finances, insurance, property taxes, preventative measures and maintenance. The other week I wasn't feeling well and stayed home from work which ended up a blessing in disguise as I had a leak in one of my 50 gallon tanks. I noticed the leak from the night before where I shut all but one valve and turned off the electric breakers. As water leaks can lead to property damage, I had to immediately get a plumber as I'm not a DIY person. I reached out to my BIL where he recommended either Allen's Plumbing (AP) or Roto Rooter. I decided to first check AP on Yelp and saw low ratings from good friends of Peter Y. and Victoria A. It's unfortunate my friends had below average experiences with AP where I was skeptical. But I trust my BIL and took the leap of faith. AP is a local company that started in 1982 servicing 24-hour service to both Oahu and Maui. The process was simple and efficient. I called first thing on a Friday morning and after addressing my issue, I was advised their plumber can be at my home at around 11am. Their dispatch contacted me a little before 11am to inform Jonah, their plumber, is on his way and arrived at about 1120am. After the assessment, it was determined that one of my hot water tanks had both internal and external leaks. I was provided an onsite quote of replacing the tank, installation, labor, parts, and disposal of the old tank. I was forewarned by my BIL of the higher than usual quote with AP, but trusted the integrity, service and professionalism of AP and agreed to the proposal. After committing to the quote, staff went on the road to secure my water tank replacement and came back about an hour later. This allowed me some time to clear the area and place more towels on the floor as water accumulated. When the staff returned, I advised them to use the side gate for a much easier access to the wash room. Luckily it was a breezy and sunny afternoon, ideal conditions in transporting the water tanks and installation. It took about 3 hours for Jonah and his colleague to disconnect and remove the damaged tank and install the new tank. I'm no expert in this field but waited patiently as I do have solar panels which perhaps caused extra steps in removing and installing. When I saw one of the staff load a box with the leaking water tank into their van, I sensed the task was soon to be completed. Prior to Jonah leaving, I did also mention my sink fixture in one of the bathrooms needed to be replaced where he also gave me a quote. It was already late so it was agreed I'd be calling back once I've made arrangements to have my sister house sit for me due to my work schedule. I paid my bill in full and the boys left my home. I had some minor tidying up to do as the laundry room floor was still wet. Overall, an amazing first experience with AP where I'd be sure to contact them again. I am impressed of their service, professionalism, dedication and knowledge of their industry by providing the service to get the job done. Note that due diligence is also required by the consumer. Highly recommended.
