Last night the pipe under my kitchen faucet burst and water started gushing out at a phenomenal rate. I couldn't even figure out how to stop the water from coming out and within minutes water was pouring down the stairs and leaking into the floors below the kitchen. After calling everyone I could think of, including the board of water supply, with no one providing any help, I typed in "plumbers" into Yelp and started cold calling down the list. First Class Plumbing was the third company listed but the first one that seemed to care. I was warned that I was calling after hours so I'd have an emergency fee if I wanted service now... I joked "fine - this is an emergency" and was told I'd get a call back as soon as they could get ahold of one of their plumbers. I went back to trying to heave buckets of water into a nearby sink and received a call back 15 minutes later. The plumber was so calm, and after hearing that I was still dealing with gushing water, explained to me how to stop the water flow. He asked me to send him pictures of the burst pipe and the faucet and got off the phone to price everything out including replacing the pipes and faucet. After doing all that work he told me what the cost would be and then said it was no worries if given the price I didn't want to continue on - or at least wait until it wasn't an emergency (an extra $150 charge). I said I definitely wanted the service and he came right out and fixed the burst pipe. I would already have been raving about this place for their competent service if it had been a normal scheduled appointment. But the fact that this company and the plumber were there for me when no one else was, and went above and beyond walk me through how to stop the problems and extremely quickly look into part costs for me before I ever even agreed to the service has made me a loyal customer forever! read more

Had a great experience having our water heater replaced with a new one and having the old one removed last October 2024. Whit was very easy to work with, kept the communication going up until the day we scheduled for him to do the job and got the task done for us with no issues. We called on a Saturday, and she was very responsive throughout the weekend. We ended up getting a appointment for Tuesday which is what we felt was a quick turnaround. The price was not the lowest we received, but was within the range what we thought was fair. Whit came out that day on time, and was in communication with us the whole time. Our house has lots of deferred maintenance and our shower fixtures needed replacement. Sent requests for estimates via the Yelp thingy and they were the first to respond with reasonable quote and fast appointment. The plumber and manager were great at communicating and doing the job. It's always a struggle just to get anybody to show up for any projects on your house, lots of flakes. Not these guys. Our old school ball type shower fixture was a little complicated to replace but Whitt was able to do it without cutting a hole in the back of the shower which some other plumbers said was the only way to do it. They were the only ones who would give me an estimate straight up over the phone instead of someone coming out to tell me any pricing. They responded quickly to my messages and we arranged for a new water heater. Our old water was a 30-gallon and the day before it really broke the water was really hot and then the next day we didn't have any hot water (he said that normally happens). Our old water heater was 18 years old and water heaters usually last 10 to 15 years and 20 if you're lucky, so we knew it needed to be replaced right away. My research says that replacing a water heater will cost an average of 1700$ but can be anywhere from 1200$ to 5000$. He took the old 30-gallon water heater, replaced it with the new 40-gallon water heater, and took the old one away. We paid 1222.33$. Based on the conversations we had, it could be more if he had to use all new parts, or if there are stairs (might need a second person with him), or if it's on Sunday (his day off), or if you use a card instead of a check. This review is based on the companies interaction not work performed. I reached out to this company to try and get my houses plumbing replaced top to bottom. What I got was an average daily cost which was not too bad it helped but it was labor only no info on how much parts were and when I asked how long the job would take they said they didnt know they would need to see the house. Fair enough however thats where it ends no follow up on when they had time to see my house. Was hoping for better customer service. Please see added photos of the conversation. I manage a condominium in Waikiki from California and when I found out from a friend that the unit smelled like sewer, I scrambled to find a plumber yesterday because I have potential tenants looking at the place in two days. My parents' bathtub and toilet were backed up Thursday night. Contacted several plumbers Friday morning, no answer, no available time. Finally found one plumber and claimed they could arrive after 5pm. Plumber arrived and tried snaking the toilet and the bathroom but couldn't unclog it.
