This company is the real deal when it comes to saving their customers a ton of money on unnecessary work and repairs. It started with Joanna patiently fielding my questions and giving me a good faith estimate on the work I requested: Kitchen faucet replacement, running toilet and water heater temperature. It ended with an extremely efficient Lyle replacing the faucet quicker than I could reconnect to the internet (seriously, that really happened). He also graciously took the time to explain and educate me on why the toilet is fine with just a few minor adjustments and how my electric bill could be unintentionally impacted with raising the temperature on the water heater. Lyle could have simply replaced the valve and flapper in my toilet and easily adjusted the thermostat in my water heater as I requested, but he didn't. Another big shoutout to Legacy Plumbing and especially Lyle for doing such a great job on our water heater and the repiping from the heater to our rental unit. Lyle came in about 60% cheaper than the other quotes we got--no games, no upselling, just straight talk. He was very professional and honest about what needed to be done: our setup was missing a brass divider (dielectric union) between the copper and galvanized pipes. Without it, the copper and zinc basically act like a battery, stripping the zinc coating and eventually causing rust and blockages. Instead of pushing some expensive interior wall change, he installed the brass divider, swapped out the gas water heater, and refitted the pipes with exterior copper--smart fix that saved us a ton. Our tenant was very happy with his work. After dealing with a plumber who tried a bait-and-switch and an electrician quoting $4,000 for stuff we didn't need, it's refreshing to have someone we can actually trust. I ASSUMED that it was just for labor, BECAUSE I waited all day for a response, and they didn't until very late at night when I was already asleep. They texted me back and they said it was for parts and labor. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: ON SATURDAY MAY 23, 2026: I used AI to find the average cost for one toilet replacement, $371. Legacy plumbing wanted a whopping $700 plus tax for just the labor. A seasoned plumber can do that job in an jour if he wanted to. So they are basically charging $700 plus tax for an hour site job. So basically I just did a full maintenance replacement kit myself. Parts cost me around $40. Took me 90 minutes. Saved myself around $688 dollars, with the help of some YouTube videos and a little elbow grease. What a ripoff. read more

The PVC T-fitting on my municipal main that supplies my irrigation failed in spectacular fashion spraying water 25' in the air. I managed to shut the water off and contacted Legacy Plumbing. I chose them because of they had 100% 5-Star ratings for all their reviews and now I can see why. Communication with legacy through the Yelp app was clear and timely. After showing them photos and video of the requested repair they quoted me a fair rate and rearranged their schedule to fit me in same day. The technician Lyle and his apprentice were extremely friendly and efficient. He explained what he would do and was done within an hour. He showed me the repair and even gave me pointers on some preventative maintenance tips like painting my water pipes to prevent corrosion and exposing my municipal gate valve for easier access in case of emergencies. EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!! A few days ago, we started smelling a really bad odor coming from under the house. The odor of raw sewage. Damn! Obviously waaay beyond my skill set, so we called a plumber who's done some work for us in the past to investigate. So, Brad from Ogami Plumbing came over and discovered THIS. Yeeccchhhh. Now this had to be fixed like RIGHT NOW, but Brad was really honest with me and told me they wouldn't be able to get to it for at least a week, maybe longer. He strongly suggested we find someone who could do it right away, because this simply couldn't wait. So, I go onto Yelp and the first company to catch my eye is Legacy Plumbing. Good reviews, family-owned local business. I called them, and to my surprise someone (the owner of the company, Lyle Pasion) came over within the hour! Well, we talk story for a while, and Lyle and his son go under the house to inspect the pipes. Turns out the 70-year-old cast iron pipes were bursting all over the place and needed to be replaced. So now, the question became, when could they do it. "We can do it tomorrow" he said. WAT??? I couldn't have been happier, really. So, we discussed cost, shook hands, and the die was cast. Next day, as promised, they showed up bright and early, 6 of them, and busted their wrinks all day under my house. Replaced all the cast iron pipes in one day. They also discovered that there was a crack in the connection between my sewer pipes and the main sewer system. That connection was buried underground under my cement slab in the back. So, Lyle and a couple of his workers came back the next day, busted through the slab, about 10 inches thick, dug down three feet, found the connection and replaced it. Maika'i to da max! Legacy Plumbing to the rescue! During an old refrigerator replacement / new installation which ended up not being a 'best buy,' the plumbing valve popped off. We needed a Plumber ASAP! I take care of my elderly mother and it's hard getting her around and running water was a must! Legacy Plumbing was the only company that offered to come and at least look at the plumbing issue that same day. He said they would send someone out right after they were done with another job they were working on. The two young men came that afternoon and ask what problem were we having and within minutes found the problem. My bathtub had water coming out of the drain when it was not being used. The worst part was it was a Sunday night (about 7:00pm). I called 7-8 different plumbers and no one answered or called me back. Luckily, Joanna and Lyle called me back about 10 minutes after I left a voice message.
