2/27/26 I received a call from our tenants/building manager that there was a potential leak coming from our condo unit. 06/17/23 Had my kitchen drain problem on Thursday. Gave my favorite plumber's a call. They were booked for the month. So there's a extra charge because I needed done right away. It was my kitchen sink! So, okay, let's get it done. Now I get a notice of the appointment. The day of the service, I got a text with the photo and work history of the tech. It is also attach a tracking application to see where the tech is at and how long before they get there. That way you can keep an eye out for the tech to let them know where to park and let them in. Originally I wanted to do a renovation in my apartment but that proved a bit expensive and I required a permit to have a tub to shower conversion. I opted to have my shower/tub repaired from damaged caused by me doing a DIY repair. The tub spout diverter had not been working properly thus I attempted to remove it. Apparently the pipe had corroded enough that a slight counter-clock wise twist caused it to break away from the wall. I contacted Pipe Master and they attempted to squeeze me into their busy schedule. That didn't work out at first, but we managed to find a date for the repair. Props to Pipe Master for giving me text alerts on when they dispatched the plumber. They also gave me a live status update on the plumber's progress to my home. Once the plumbers arrived at my home, they went straight to work. I had no issues with them doing their work. Heck, I had more issues with management turning on/off the water. Their plumbers did work within the specified time given to me by Pipe Masters. In addition, they did 1st time quality work. They did a great job changing out the shower valve and putting in new pipe for the tub spout. There were no leaks when the manager brought the water back online. Not much else to say. I appreciate their rep Irvin for helping me schedule my repair, help me with my quote, do my payment, and answered any questions I had. Manny and his colleague were wonderful. They explained everything to me, showed the camera scoping of the pipes and scanned and showed me where the cleanout ports and pipes to the sewer line were located. One of the cleanout ports is under 5 feet of dirt since a vertical pipe extension was never installed when a retaining wall and dirt was filled in decades ago. They informed me that to completely clean out the pipes would take chains and likely damage the pipes. Our pipes now flow, but should we ever need to redo the underground piping to the sewer line, Pipe Masters said they will send a proposal so we'll have an idea of the scope and cost of cutting through the slab foundation and trenching through the front yard to reroute and lay in new pipe. What started out as a reaming job became a much bigger reaming and hydrojetting job. PM was able pivot because they have the expertise and equipment to do it on the spot. No making a new appointment. I would highly recommend Pipe Masters. They aren't inexpensive but I feel I got my money's worth and sense of security from their work. They are also going to give a link so I can view the video of the camera scoping of the pipes! read more

Have an older house with original cast iron pipes that were corroding on the inside and causing backups. Hired a plumber who stated that at some point soon I should consider redoing all the pipes but the house sits on slab and we just redid the floors not too long ago. I asked about pipe lining and the plumber said that's a good option but he didn't do that work and only a very few plumbing companies do pipe lining. I looked online and found Pipe Masters. I called and was fortunate to speak with Jason who was very patient and explained the process in layman's terms so he was very easy to understand and follow. I set up an appointment for the next day for an inspection and Jason clearly outlined various options for my consideration. The technicians, Manny and his buddy, who came the next day were on time and very thorough in explaining their diagnosis and suggested repair plan. I thought the pool deck might have to be taken up as the clean out had been paved over. Pipe Masters was able to do their video inspection without having to jackhammer the deck and also located the clean out. I was very impressed with the expertise and care taken. I had prior commitments and would be leaving the island soon and Pipe Masters got me on the calendar and repairs started the next day. The communication from Pipe Masters was excellent. I knew what time the technician, Manny, would arrive as I would receive texts and emails that he was on his way with an estimated ETA. Manny and the other technician always checked in and explained what work would be done each day and when we would be without water. The project was done professionally and completed on time as promised. After my rental house underwent a two-month renovation with no occupant, dried waste materials ended up stuck in the drainage pipe. The first time Company X came on an emergency basis, they snaked from the shower and the drain flowed for 7 days. The backflow happened again, so they snaked from both toilets, which worked for only 3 days. Then they sent in a camera crew, found more blockage closer to the City & County main, and stopped all work because they wanted to dig a cleanout line before continuing. I was extremely pleased with my recent experience with Pipe Masters. We are a food manufacturer, Aloha Tofu Factory, that uses a boiler to generate steam for our production. The drain in that room has slowed to a trickle due to the 40 years of accumulated dirt and calcium deposits. I finally got around to asking some plumbing companies to take a look. The only company that responded was Arvin from Pipe Masters. He took the time to ask questions, understand our situation, and make recommendations. He was upfront with the estimated costs involved, including the amount of time that was allotted for each type of service. We made an appointment that fit both our schedules. Leading up to the appointment, I received both emails and texts reminding me and informing me of the service and technician who would be doing the work. Izaiah was our main tech and although very young, he was very engaging and explained what he would be doing regarding the service. He got right to work. Interestingly enough, although they were able to clean out a lot of buildup, they weren't able to completely open my drain due to the 40+ years of buildup. However, the reason I have given them a 5-star review is because of their effort to clearly communicate before, during and after the service. Mahalo to Arvin, Jason, and Izaiah for the great work at my In-Laws house. They were having issues with a laundry drain constantly backing up even after they had it professionally snaked. Another company charged them to scope the line and they were told that the pipe needed to be relined and were not given any pictures or videos, just a quote for additional work for several thousand dollars. I did not feel comfortable with a single quote, so I called around to see if I could get additional quotes for the work. While there were other companies that could provide a free estimate, Arvin from Pipe Masters came up with a better long term solution of hydrojetting the sewer lines to clean them as well being able to see the condition of the pipes. Arvin explained that without cleaning the pipes first, you cannot tell if the pipes are structurally sound in order to be recoated or relined. They also noted that having the hydrojetting done may solve the problem without having to perform any relining of pipes. I decided to have the entire house hydrojetted which took 1-1/2 days to complete, but Izaiah and the other tech were very meticulous in the work they performed. Once completed, my In-Laws noted everything in the house was draining much better (since 50+ years of accumulation was basically power washed). Pipe Masters emailed me multiple video files and pictures for me to keep and use as needed. They also drew a diagram of how the plumbing worked for future reference. If you have slow drains in your house or have never performed any plumbing maintenance over decades of use, it is definitely worth the cost and time to work with Pipe Masters. read more

Have used Pipe Masters several time in the past year. We called for a leak below our unattached ADU on 4/26/2024. Upon arrival Manny mentioned he recommended 2 HR Camera $565.00 to locate issue and to access from 3rd Floor bathroom($220.00 to remove and reset toilet) of main house. After two hours being unable to locate issue, Manny had proceeded to pack up, tenant then pleaded with Manny to access through the area he showed him upon arrival. Manny accessed pipe directly to ADU and was then able to locate issue within minutes. Manny had called to let me know of the issue and that he would be mailing me the receipt shortly and that the estimate would be available on 4/30/2024 as we wanted to fix asap as it was actively leaking. I call back on 4/30/2024 and was advised that it won't be available for a few more days. Called back and left a message on 5/7/2024 and received the estimate which was dated and complete on 4/30/2024 but no one called to let me know. On 5/9/2024 I called for the receipt of the work that was done on the initial day. When I spoke with Manny I questioned the delay in estimate and receipt to which he had no response, also asked why he wouldn't have tried to access near the ADU and origination of leak, his response was it's a small area and would be hard to access, however when reviewing the pictures the access was easily accessible. In all it took two weeks for them to tell me what the issues were for $820.00 and estimate of $7,300.00 to fix it. While waiting for them to provide use the receipt and estimate we called another plumber who was able to assess and complete job on the same day for $2,000.00, and came back to redo concrete within a week. Very poor follow up and questionable recommendations. read more

The clog wasn't removed. It was only pushed further down the pipe. So when running water to confirm that it was not clogged, It only let in more water, but still did not drain. I contacted the company a few hours after services. They were not receptive. They claimed that it was a new issue. Refusing to return to finish the job, and refusing to refund my payment. I have filed a police report for "theft in the 4th degree" which is theft by deception. I will take them to court. I very much recommend a different service. read more
