Whatever the problem was, it was gone when he came. Since he was here, he snaked the shower, just to make sure there wasn't anything further down the pipe. It was reassuring to know that nothing was found and everything was ok. I would highly recommend Elika and Protech Plumbing. He is courteous, reliable and professional. Fast forward to 8 days of this straight of him telling us "tomorrow" and no follow-through. I ultimately let him know we will not be utilizing his service. I had sent him a picture of the hot water heater set up I had that was broken and needed to be replaced. I'm not familiar with plumbing so I told him what I thought I had. He very kindly explained to me that my setup was in fact a little different than I thought and asked if I had already bought the new tanks. I explained to him I had no idea what to do. He was so patient with me and even went above and beyond to call places to see if they carried what I needed and if they had it in stock for pick up. When he found what I needed, he even placed the order for me and gave me all the instructions for pick up from the warehouse. He went out of his way to help me and make sure what I got was correct. At time of install, he arrived on time and communicated well throughout the install. He even put up with my elderly father who wanted to watch everything that was going on and Isaac never made him feel bad or in the way. My dad felt like he had helped in the project and it was a real kindness that Isaac did for him. Isaac's work was beautiful and he cleaned up after like he was never there. The sewer was backed up! This means they had no toilet/shower/anything. My dad lifted the toilet to get to the sewer line directly and still no luck. No luck through the cleanout either. I had to find a plumber fast because my mom is having some health/memory issues, and it would be very difficult for my parents if they didn't have a functioning system. I started to call around to find a plumber and noticed JNJ was located close to my parents house. I called, and he had some of his guys close by and available, they showed up within 20 minutes and began working on it. They were both very professional and cool, but unfortunately after trying for over an hour, the blockage was still immobile, the auger and snake couldn't do it. They said they needed bigger equipment to clear it, and would have to have Jason (owner) stop by later. Jason was on other side of island, but he called and said he was finishing up a job and would be there after. He showed up around 6pm, I believe with his son. I had to leave already but my dad told me how they worked and worked on the pipe for a long time and finally were able to make it through the blockage. They're still not sure what it was, but my dad was so happy with their service. They spent awhile cleaning up, resetting the toilet/wax seal my dad had pulled, and making sure everything was working. This must have been the end of a very long day for them as I think it was past 7pm when they finished. My dad is sort of old school, like he hates having things done by other people because he still thinks he can still do everything himself. But after seeing the hard work JNJ did and how great of a job they did, he was telling me how happy he was that he used them. He also said their price was very reasonable. I've had a few plumbing jobs here and there on my own place, and never found a place I'm 100% happy with, but now with JNJ I've found a new plumber that I would highly highly recommend.
