This is truly my favorite fabric store in Phoenix. I've been shopping here regularly for the last…read morethree years ever since I started making dancewear and competitive dance costumes. Hands-down, they have the greatest selection of spandex and Lycra fabrics. They're beaded laces and special occasion. Fabrics are also stunning. If you see something you like, it's best to buy it all because it may not come back. I have never gone in and not found what I wanted or needed for my projects. Sometimes I just enjoy wandering for an hour over lunch to see what's new and say hi to the staff. I wish they stayed open later on Saturdays and maybe had limited hours on Sundays because now that Joannes has closed, it's hard to grab things in a pinch. But I'll take what I can get because I really love shopping there. The value is absolutely incredible for the quality of some of these performance fabrics that you will pay 2 to 3 times more for online and even more than that with shipping.

Being 7 months pregnant and asking for a bathroom and denying cause it's " not for the public " was ridiculous to me. I'm literally waiting for my fabric to be cut in a long line and asked politely and was denied. Where do all the employees go?! It was very dismissive and disappointing that they would deny someone of my condition for a very special circumstance. Fabrics are fine staff were not nice - ruined the whole experience for me

Shawn, took the time to show me around and go over some Fabric choices and what exactly they do here, the history. It's good to know they've been in business for over 20 years, and they have over 7,000 rolls of fabric. It's kind of a soup to nut store. You just gotta take a look for yourself and see what your needs are. I'm looking forward to our new business relationship that will also be turning into a friendship! I really do appreciate good people when I find them. I feel this organization is a good trustworthy, a handshake type place. I will update again after my order gets complete. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Mixed feelings about this place…read more I had a new cushion project I was working on. I received great guidance on making templates for the cushions from Isaac in the back cushion room. I did all of that, came back, met with the owner, scoured through fabrics, shared my exact templates for the cushions and then was just left waiting for a quote. I followed up and was told it was awaiting approval. They wasted my time entirely. Still never heard back. They could've just said they didn't want the job. Luckily, I received great service at Classic House. Better fabrics and fantastic service. Got a quote on the spot. And got right to work. Wish I would've started there in the first place.

The owner seems to be willing to take the time to explain to you no matter the level and help with a chart also if needed. I thought for the level of complexity of my canvas it was a great price.
