This is a very pleasant and cozy store. I appreciate the lovely fibers that they offer here. The service was always great, no complaints. I think the prices are fair. I bought wonderful yarn here and I love knitting with it. I appreciate the varied selection of yarns, it's nice to be able to touch and admire different new yarns. In our times, I could order everything online but I'm old fashioned and love the experience of a real store. Plus, the owner is an enchanting lovely woman. I do recommend this store. read more

I've had the misfortune of needing things this pit of vipers store does carry. The atmosphere they permeate makes you know you don't belong and they don't like you or want you in their club. Just went in for some Knitter's Pride double points. Was ushered to collect them and shown the door. To the point my husband said he was uncomfortable. I gotta plan ahead to avoid coming here. I wanted to spin more. But, boy these ladies sure killed my passion. Constantly treated like I'm dipped in poo. I hate this place. Hope this helps. Please, RUN. read more

I came in yesterday with my brother. He'd never been to a yarn store. He was thrilled that I would and could make him a hat. He loved all your yarn and thought it beautiful and went around touching and asking about all the types you had in the store. He was so impressed with your selection and how nice you all were to him. When his wife later suggested we should have gone to JoAnns because there she had a coupon he replied.... oh no they don't have nearly as nice of yarn nor are be as nice as the ladies at Fiber Creek. By far one of the nicest, well stocked and friendly yarn shops I have ever been to. The owner and staff were helpful but not intrusive. They have well known yarns as well as fiber, hand dyed, local and even a tons of different notions and needles. Do not bypass this one...its a gem! read more

I was greeted by a knowledgeable staff person who quickly gave me the layout of the store, then encouraged me to wander (exactly how I like to check out a new store). A group of regulars were busy chatting in the back. More chatting than knitting = the sign of a healthy yarn store. They filled the store w a happy buzz of energy. Another gentleman was having a serious dialogue w a staff person; they knew their fibers. I was on the hunt for local fibers and their supply was low at the time but pleased they carried at least 4-5 options. What a lovely yarn shop. Just moved in from out of town and was looking for a shop for all my yarn goodness and was fortunate to find Fiber Creek. They have a great selection of yarns, from basic cottons and wools to variegated and hand-dyed yarn for sockies, as well a good selection of heavier weight yarns for sweaters and blankets. Lots of roving, and cones for weaving. Great selection of notions, needles, and other doodads you need to keep your fiber addiction going. Kind and knowledgable staff too! This is such a great local yarn store! They have a huge selection of affordable and luxury yarns, there really is something for everyone. Also a great selection of pattern books and magazines. The staff is so friendly and helpful and always happy to offer advice, and they're great about ordering yarn if they don't have what you need in stock - one time they were able to snag me a discontinued yarn I needed just one more skein of to finish a sweater!
