When my grandson liked WW2 planes the person (I don't want to say salesman since there was absolutely no pressure or upselling) explained the different types of planes. Also he recommended which ones for a beginner modeler based on size and number of parts. Very helpful. Plus I called for a question when he started painting. The question was answered right away without having to be transferred to another person. So very helpful in that store. I had interacted with him before and found his attitude unprofessional, and today's visit left me feeling the same way. Throughout my visit, I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience. When it came time to bag my purchases, Frank said that it wasn't his job. His tone and attitude made me feel unwelcome instead of appreciated as a paying customer. I expect basic courtesy and respectful service. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location while Frank continues to work there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how customers are treated.

We both love Pokemon, and I'm a big sports card guy. We hopped in just thinking we'd stay for a few minutes. Ended up talking to Ed for half an hour the first time. We went back a second day and talked with him. Ed has a massive mind of knowledge in cards. It's not often I get to talk about all the nuances of the hobby and how absurd and pleasant it can be. Unfortunate for me, he sold out of his Bowman Mega Boxes that morning before I could get to them. Ended up getting a Topps Mega Box and pulled an Andrew Vaughn X-Fractor Auto RC. Not bad at all. Super kind service at first…read more Being an inexperienced 14yr old I brought an item in to get a wire soldered. They said they could do it and when I got it, it was messy and weak. I took it home and when I assembled my model , it turned out one of the components was damaged (near the wires that were soldered) It cost $50 for a new one and they said that they weren't at fault and turned me down. No compensation... Pretty disappointed, as I don't really have a stable way to make money at 14...

I was looking at the yard ornaments and somebody who I think was the manager asked me if I needed any help. What I really came in for were the little bottlebrush trees for Christmas villages. He knew exactly what I was talking about, and actually walked me to the display explaining that due to the sale they didn't have many left. They didn't have what I needed, but considering that I had nothing in my hands and I wasn't going to purchase anything I was impressed that he went out of his way to help me. I have to say he kind of restored my faith in humanity, because I had been into a store downtown that could not have been less friendly and helpful. And even though it is sometimes inconvenient, I appreciate the fact that they are closed on Sundays.
