In the haste to travel without checked baggage on our ongoing trip to Sedona, I forgot my Camelback…read morebackpack with a water bladder. Then we decided we would be hiking galore after the rains that afflicted the area last week. And I hate, loath and despise having to carry a water bottle in my hand as we hike. So we went into Canyon Outfitters to see what they had. The place is a hiker emporium, taking advantage of every inch of available space. From footwear to hiking shorts to backpacks to climbing supplies, they have it. Straps, carabiners, the works. An impressive and organized place with helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We left the store with mini water holders that would be non-intrusive during a hike, allowing for the hands to assist in the hike instead of carrying "stuff". Happy customers!

I found a shirt on vacation in Brattleboro Vt, at Sams outfitters that I…read morereally liked. Unfortunately they did not have it in my size. Determined to find it I started searching the internet I came across Richard David For Men. Richard David For Men was the only place I could find it. I believe they are made by one person in small batches (r options) Initially I was impressed that they had this line of shirts available but after ordering it I became more impressed with the quality personal service I received and the fast shipping. On my first order I have a mailing address that does not always show up as a valid address. about 2 hrs after ordering a I got a very friendly call just to confirm I was ok with the address they were going to ship to, and they also gave me a little info on the process that goes into the making of the shirt I was ordering after I told him about my search for this product as to let me know what they also saw in the quality of this product!

I went into this shop expecting more of a traditional thrift store experience, but it felt much…read morecloser to a consignment boutique in terms of pricing. While there were definitely some unique and high-quality pieces, many of the items--especially the jewelry--were priced in the hundreds and even into the thousands, which caught me off guard. One thing I really appreciated was how the clothing was organized by size. That made browsing much easier and more efficient, especially if you're on a time crunch. The store also carries furniture and other items, and everything is thoughtfully displayed--the presentation is clean, curated, and visually appealing. That said, it just wasn't what I personally was looking for. I came in hoping to thrift and score budget-friendly finds, so the pricing and overall vibe didn't quite match my expectations. If you're looking for curated, higher-end secondhand pieces, this might be your spot--but if you're hunting for true thrift deals, you may leave a bit disappointed like I did.
