I went into this shop expecting more of a traditional thrift store experience, but it felt much closer to a consignment boutique in terms of pricing. While there were definitely some unique and high-quality pieces, many of the items--especially the jewelry--were priced in the hundreds and even into the thousands, which caught me off guard. One thing I really appreciated was how the clothing was organized by size. That made browsing much easier and more efficient, especially if you're on a time crunch. The store also carries furniture and other items, and everything is thoughtfully displayed--the presentation is clean, curated, and visually appealing. That said, it just wasn't what I personally was looking for. I came in hoping to thrift and score budget-friendly finds, so the pricing and overall vibe didn't quite match my expectations. I was having lunch at Tamaliza a few stores down when I met a volunteer from the thrift shop. We were talking and she mentioned they were having a big sale. I stopped by and the store is huge with a small book library. The books were well organized by subject. They also had sticker prices outside. There's a lot to see. What an amazing find in Sedona! We were in Sedona for the thanksgiving break and decided to do a bit of Black Friday shopping and found this thrift shop on Yelp. There was a steady stream of people entering and it was busy but not crazy. The place is organized and clean and there was even a little section with holiday decor which was such a treat. The ladies working here were really friendly and sweet especially this one lady with gorgeous gray/white shoulder length hair. We ended up buying a beautiful coat, dress and these really neat vintage plate set! We were happy with the treasures we found and can't wait to use them. read more

I love this thrift store. I always find really cool stuff. They have some really high quality items for more expensive as well as more affordable stuff. I would describe it as an antique/thrift store. I actually saw a furby still in box for sale here once lol so cool. They don't seem to put the more expensive items online like other thrift stores do, but actually offer them back to the local community which i like. read more

A very cool thrift store. Lots of nice things and not overly pricey. I found a 50% off rack and bought a cute cardigan for four bucks. I also got some really pretty jewelry and some exotic collector dolls. The lady behind the register was very polite and said the service survivors of domestic violence so I felt good about my purchases. There are not a lot of thrift shops in Sedona, but this is a must do. I especially enjoy this place when they have the 50% off sales in which case it makes sense to buy a used clothing. Very nice resale shop. They have very beautiful China and glassware, gorgeous jewelry and they even have artwork. Also furniture, clothing and shoes. Barbara is one of the volunteers there and is very personable. We purchased a beautiful leaded glass vase from Bavaria for only $16! A "must" to stop in. read more

I could spend all day at Twice Nice, I'm utterly obsessed. It is the best thrift store in all of Arizona. Unfortunately, it's all the way in Sedona. Otherwise, I'd come everyday! The selection might be small but there are tons of unique finds! They do have a nice variety of things to buy, ranging from chinaware to Halloween masks. The ladies that work here are extremely kind and helpful. I was able to find two pairs of pants for only $16! They were cute and cheap! Lucky me! I think the best part about coming here is all of the sweet pets that lounge around and greet people. I adore them and spent more time petting them than I did looking at the merchandise. My wife were in Sedona the week after Thanksgiving and were looking for some decent thrift stores. We lucked out and found this place. Much of the clothing was red-tagged for 50% off. We ended up getting a Lands End jacket for $7, a belt, and a pretty blouse as a gift (also for half off). The staff are warm and friendly - I can't tell you how many times we were approached to see whether we needed help. The store is neat and well-kept. It's a big place so we could always socially distance while rummaging through the bargains. They have their own parking lot in front. We were very happy with our experience here and would certainly come again when we're back in town! read more

My wife, myself and our baby daughter (who is 13 months old) went in today to browse their store - when we went in we were greeted very kindly by two elder ladies who asked us what we were coming in for. We told them we were looking for books and they pointed us in the direction of them. We started looking through the books and about 15 minutes into looking a store clerk who was also elderly came by and very abruptly and quite rudely said, "you better put these books back they way you found them." As if we weren't going to do that. I said okay and my wife and I looked at each other as she started to reorganize the shelves we were just at - she then looked and said you have to reorganize this shelf because I have a bad back. Which honestly I COMPLETELY understand and was more than willing to reorganize the books. So once we were about finished looking through the books I spent a couple extra minutes organizing the books for her. (In the context of yelp - I probably did a 4 start job organizing the books on the bottom shelf for her) She came back in right when I was about finished organizing them for her and said something like, "I work way to hard and you pushed these books too far back and you need to reorganize them all, this isn't how they were when you got here." I just got up and started walking to the front - I was not wanting to be confrontational with an elderly lady and maybe it was just a humble misunderstanding on both of our parts. Man of man was I wrong. My wife, myself and my daughter were standing in line when this same lady accosted us and started yelling at me for how I organized the books and how disrespectful I was and how next time I need to do a better job and (since we are in the midst of COVID and she is elderly) I told her that she needs to back up because she was literally about a foot away from myself and my family. She backed up and then kept berating me for how terrible of a human being I was, so I told her that I was not going to talk to her and repeated that several times until she said the same thing, "Well I'm not talking to you then." So I told her to go away if she was done talking to me. When we got up to the front of the line I told the other elderly lady about her (even though she had just seen everything play out) and she said the same thing - that she works too hard to have her books messed up. I seriously spent extra time reorganizing the books for her. I cannot believe how I was treated and I wish that I was lying or something - but I did have most of it on camera - I started recording as soon as she approached me and started yelling at me because I felt as though I needed to have proof of what happened. As avid thrifters I would STAY AWAY from this store. There are many other places in Sedona, VOC, Cottonwood, etc. where you don't have to watch out for - and I don't know a better word for it - you don't have to watch out for Karen's on the loose. I live in Flagstaff now, but make it down the mountain to Sedona a couple of times a month. I always try and stop in here and Sedona Cake Couture for obviously very different reasons. Given how little shopping for women's clothes there is in Sedona, this is a really good one. In the past few visits, I have bought a jacket by Tahari, and a dress by Dana Buchman. They have a variety of labels from Ralph Lauren, CHICOS, Talbots, etc. They also sell furniture, dishwater, etc. Proceeds go to victims of domestic violence. read more

Hard to shop will they talk down to everyone who DARES not walk in with a mask duct taped to their faces! This may be somewhat unfair because I'm writing it during Covid but it's hard to shop when you hear a crazy old lady with white hair practically yelling and talking down to everybody who not only didn't walk in the store with a mask on but also perhaps is wearing the mask underneath their nose "I'm not going to make it a big deal but you should be wearing it OVER YOUR NOSE". Really lady?! she basically threw some guy out after she rudely attacked him for not wearing a mask the second he walked in! Then she starts making a scene and saying "what's wrong with people and people don't need to shop here (as if her little old self could actually force the guy to leave the store) what are you gonna do lady, call the cops?? there's like four people in the whole store and he just came in to brows. all she had to do was just politely ask him to put on a mask or offer him a mask. The guy was rightly offended and irritated at her over the top RUDE behavior , as if she's some school teacher and he's a little misbehaving seven-year-old. I got sick of listening to the old lady go on and on about "what wrong with these people" oand "this is not political" to some other very nice shopper was trying to calm her down. so I put the stuff that I was going to buy down and walked out. mind you I'm wearing my mask because months ago I overheard them reprimanding people when this first started. Whatever, The only real bargains here are their books anyways. I've noticed the prices have gone up so I'm actually done shopping at this overpriced thrift store filled with angry old lady volunteer who only feel alive by talking down to "other people". It's too bad because the money goes to a good cause but other than books I'm not supporting them any longer and I'll donate to some other organization as well. Oh and on my way out she nagged another lady without a mask. She was already to fight too but the shopper was like "ok ummm do you have an extra?" " YOU NEED A MASK "WHAT?! AN EXTRA.... YES WE DO". I come to this store a minimum of 1 time a week! Very rarely do i ever leave empty handed. When i do it's just because the price is a bit steep in the men's section but that is because they always have top quality clothing. The ladies that run this place make it so welcoming it's awesome! This is more of an upscale thrift store, so this may not be the best place to come looking for "cheap" finds (I.e. $1-2). More of a selection of clothing, they do have furniture which I noted was in good condition, books, kitchen appliances, bags and shoes. There was no musty smell and the building they are in is a new location so everything was nicely organized and clean. I also saw some items they kept in their glass cases in the front that they had also listed on ebay. The staff seemed friendly and welcoming. Quite a few things were overpriced but I really can't gripe on a place that benefits the Verde Valley Sanctuary, a 28-bed shelter for victims of family abuse. All sales go to the shelter. read more

It is almost two stores in one - the clothing side (women's and men's) and then the little hamlet of home life containing furnishings, books and all comfy things to bring a home's soul to life. Do not miss this store. Of course, as a second hand establishment, the stock is constantly changing, but I have not been let down. Sedona and the Verde Valley have lots of thrift stores but Twice Is Nice stands apart. It is like a designer boutique thrift store. There is a great assortment of designer clothes, great selection of shoes and handbags as well as housewares and furnishings. It is also benefiting an important cause, the Verde Valley Sanctuary which provides housing, clothing, food and advocacy for people impacted by domestic violence. This is my favorite thrift store in Sedona. I also suggest checking out their store in Cottonwood. read more

I had the most incredible experience here. There was a print on a shelf that I loved but I wasn't sure about it because it was a little out of my price range. The ladies working were so sweet and helpful, and when a customer heard I wasn't sure about the print even though I loved it, she gave me a 10% off coupon for my whole purchase. After this gesture and hearing that all of the proceeds go to their women's shelter and that almost everyone is a volunteer, my friend and I were brought to tears. The least I could do was leave a good review. Not to mention the selection was amazing, and we spent over an hour in the store. We were also greeted by the cat posted in the photos - I've been missing my cats back home so this made my experience all the better.
