All I can say is wow! They have a wide ass assortment of things to decorate your home for inside and out. Because they have so much, it can be overwhelming, but this is a good thing because at least there's a lot to choose from. We recently came to the store to look for outdoor holiday decorations for Christmas. We found just what we were looking for a big wreath for our front door and a couple of swags that we hung from our exterior light fixtures, which gives all the holiday feels. Went to Hobby lobby on a random night to check out their Christmas decorations. They were on sale, which is awesome. I was looking at the yard ornaments and somebody who I think was the manager asked me if I needed any help. What I really came in for were the little bottlebrush trees for Christmas villages. He knew exactly what I was talking about, and actually walked me to the display explaining that due to the sale they didn't have many left. They didn't have what I needed, but considering that I had nothing in my hands and I wasn't going to purchase anything I was impressed that he went out of his way to help me. I have to say he kind of restored my faith in humanity, because I had been into a store downtown that could not have been less friendly and helpful. And even though it is sometimes inconvenient, I appreciate the fact that they are closed on Sundays. read more

Always such a treat pausing to "delight & shop" in my fav Hobby Lobby. :). But today was an extraordinary delight that just has to be shared! I was in this afternoon and ended up trying on some fun small accessory rings. And then I heard a noise; like something had hit the floor. But I looked all over to no avail. So I made my ring selection & moved on. Tonight I realized it was my diamond ring that had fallen off. So I ran back in just before closing. Manager Chris and his team were so sweet with me; looking all over! Then they took my info and gave me hope. (This is Hobby Lobby!!). And sure enough, I had barely gotten back home (past closing time) when I got a call from Chris saying "we found your ring"! Robert had found it in his sweeping pile. I am so grateful. I had a couple of items framed. The framing was quite good and the employees that helped me initially were wonderful . The one who helped me when I went to pick them up was another story . She walked the items up to the register and when they rang them up and I questioned whether I had paid for them or not and asked to let me check my credit card she went in and on how it was company policy etc,while I'm getting more frazzled trying to check and I'm apologizing because I don't remember she still doesn't stop. I see there's a line forming form so I go ahead and check out and she still talking and I very nicely said thanks for humiliating me and I walked out of the store.. so after spending $200 on framing, I will go someplace else if that's the way I'm gonna be treated when I asked for a minute to double check the charges. I'm a senior citizen and I don't need to be treated so disrespectfully by another senior citizen. read more

If we need to pick up a craft item quickly we'll usually go over to Jo-Ann's in the Gail Gardner Shopping Center, or over to Michaels at the mall, if we're nearby. But, if we really want to browse a great selection and a greater variety of items for ideas, we'll take the drive out to Hobby Lobby. The store is always well stocked and very clean when we go. It is layed out well, too. The checkouts are pretty fast, and the cashiers are friendly. We've never noticed much help on the sales floor, but in this kind of a location we prefer to just browse slowly and be left alone. The prices are pretty good here as well. Especially when items are on sale. Recently my daughter and I were looking for modeling clays and tools. We checked Jo-Ann's and went next door to Wally World for price comparison, then decided to drive out to Hobby Lobby. We were glad we did, as the variety much better and the pricing was great. She was quite happy, so that made Papa happy. One nice thing about this Hobby Lobby is there is always an advertisement in a weekly circular that is mailed to the entire area. That ad always contains a coupon for 40% off of any single item. I have been going to this hobby lobby for years and I came in with my baby today and as I was waiting in line to pay she got fussy and began to cry but I was about 3 people away from checking out and leaving when a old white cashier decided to tell me how if it were her mother she would've taken the baby out immediately and leave and I just stood there and said okay. When she realized I wasn't going to leave she covered her ears and said " seriously ". I found this encounter to be extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you can't stand to hear a baby cry for a couple minutes you should not be working in customer service. I have tried to call twice now just to be hung up on. read more

OK, Hobby Lobby has always been the place to go for holiday items, home decor items and baking, crafts, you name it. So what's going on now. I went in there a few days ago to pick up a few things for Valentines Day and instead of the usual 3 to 4 aisles filled with the current holiday items, there was one side of one aisle. Nothing exciting or unique either. It was all very generic stuff and I can purchase it at Dollar Tree. Same thing with the Easter items. Very few, very generic. The employees were all very nice and helpful as usual and the store was nice and clean as always, but very few sale items and the holiday items were sadly not up to their usual quality or quantity. Quite a few customers were commenting on this. I did ask an employee if they were getting any more items and she said they were not. Disappointed in the store for the first time. read more

I have pretty much decorated my entire house with items from this store. As a younger girl my mom and I would frequently come to hobby lobby to get decorations for her house and I learned very quickly that no matter what your style is they have items for EVERY possible style. From modern, Chic, all the way to farmhouse rustic they have it. I have also frequented hobby lobby for holiday decor and they always come through. I do have to warn you that their prices range but they always have a sale going on and they rotate their sales weekly so if you see something you like that isn't on sale this week, next week it will be. I find their prices to be fair and moderate and the staff is always amazing! I have never had a bad experience here with any of the staff and they frequently go over and beyond for their customers. I have had multiple occasions at this store since becoming a homeowner that the staff has voluntarily rang up my items in separate transactions to save me the most money possible. I appreciate a good deal of course, but it is experiences like that, that make me go back and spend more money. I am a hobby lobby addict, and you will be too. read more

Pretty cool stuff. Knick-knacks and crafting materials. Lots of stuff for anyone who is generally artsy or just likes cool decorations. Way, way too much of it is made in China, which is my only real gripe about Hobby Lobby. Other than that, it's a nifty place to pick up supplies for art, school projects, and the like. We are a non profit, tax exempt company that have been in business for over 50 years. We offer services for many populations within our community. We went to Hobby Lobby in Prescott valley to purchase some supplies and were denied our tax exempt status. One of our supervisors returned, our office is located an hour away from Hobby Lobby, and he provided our tax exemption letter from the government as well as our non-profit government issued letter; which you can not obtain that without first being tax exempt. They still refused to return the tax that was charged. We will never do business with them again, and I will be telling everyone that I know about their terrible customer service. I gave them one star because they have some cool things, but more important to me is customer service. My husband and I were there today and a lot of things were marked 50% off. We picked up a few things including two small table lamps. When we were checking out, the cashier said the lamps were not 50% off until next week. The lamps we had chosen were on a top shelf next to a sign that said lamps were 50% off and it did not have a date on it. My husband went back with one of the employees to show her the sign. Well, she said the sign is always there and that it was turned with its blank side facing out until they turn it around for the sale. Problem with that explanation is that the sign was on an open top shelf with lamps on both sides. The sign faced outward saying 50% off if you were approaching the shelf from one side and blank if you approached from the opposite side! Needless to say, we approached and picked out two lamps from the "sale" side. I have never dealt with a store who would not honor their own signs and advised them to remove that sign so that others would not mistake the sale! My husband and I both felt the two employees involved were very rude and instead of honoring their sign and their customers, they told us we could go online and get a 40% off coupon! So for the difference of about $6.00 those employees chose to lose two senior customers who have a lot of friends who love to shop! Seems like a mistake! read more
