I can't even say enough for this store, but I am going to try and sum it up, kinda haha. The clothing, shoes and accessories are all great quality, extremely in fashion and affordable! I honestly can't remember the last time I found a place like this, maybe a good score at a garage sale?!! The lady behind the desk was also the one who owns the store. She was kind, interactive and totally genuine. I found several things that were calling my name, but will totally be back for more. The size ranges are from smalls to plus. So there is a variety. Just stop in, you won't be disappointed!

Angel and Vilma Delgadillo, Original Owners [Seligman AZ]…read more I wasn't aware of the history of this store and since I had already purchased most of my souvenirs at another gift shop down the street we just took a look inside, formerly Angel's barbershop and pool hall, now a gift shop. Who is Angel Delgadillo? This man was credited for saving Route 66 in Arizona! Yes, wow... I was intrigued about his story! Before I-40 was erected Seligman saw 9,000 vehicles moved through the town every day, stopping at the businesses, restaurants, service stations, and motels in town. When a section of I-40 opened south of town a deathly stillness fell on this main drag. With the expansion of the Interstate 40, there seemed to be no more need for the old road... in 1985, U.S. 66 was officially decertified. Whaat? All signs were taken down and it was removed from maps. So sad! Sorry, you'd have to research the rest of the story yourself on the internet... As we entered the modest shop the interior is quite small and compact inside. It got crowded inside especially with two bus full of tourists!!! We perused the souvenirs and many apparel merchandise for sale. There are t-shirts, magnets, shot glasses, postcards, mugs, and just about anything you might want to collect. To the right is a tiny small space Angel used as his barbershop. After his retirement, the barbershop portion of the shop was converted to a museum, celebrating his and Seligman's legacy on Route 66. It is filled with photos, antiques, and memorabilia, including his antique barber chair with a cardboard cutout of Angel himself. I did not realize the extent of his popularity until I read stories about him. I wish I would've met him... Review #3704

And I made my visit even better by checking out the Route 66 Gift Shop. If I could stay in this town all weekend long, I would. The Delgadillo family is really friendly and so are the other employees that work here. I saw the barber shop chair, the many business cards and license plates. I also learned all about Route 66 history and the Cars filmmakers' visit to this gift shop. More than two-thirds of the items for sale are made in AMERICA. This is one of America's greatest success stories. If you love Route 66 so much please visit this amazing gift shop!

This place is so cute! They have soooo much to look at and their Christmas section is to die for…read more Upon walking in, we were greeted by workers, which included an old man who I'm guessing was Jim as he had on what looked to be a costume (of was just his usual attire) and had a statue in the store. A worker who we saw preparing something in the window as we were passing by had handed me, my mom, and my dad a sample of almonds with cinnamon sugar on them. Needless to say, they were delicious. We heard about this place having great ice cream on TikTok, so my mom and I were on the hunt for that. We finally found it in the very back of the store. There was a young man/teenager working behind the counter and was super friendly, telling us that the Graham Canyon flavor was "grandpa approved." My mom got a scoop of that and the chocolate raspberry truffle while I got a scoop of the oatmeal cream pie and lemon bar. We really liked the Graham Canyon flavor, but found the raspberry in the chocolate raspberry truffle to be close to nonexistent. It was still a nice chocolate ice cream though. I loved both the oatmeal cream pie and lemon flavor, but I liked the oatmeal cream pie just a little bit more since there were larger chunks of the actual cookie in it. As we devoured our ice creams, we browsed around the store. Awesome staff, service, selection, and products. Definitely stop in here if you get the chance!
