My friend worked there for a short while last year as one of Fallons Vendors. Her job was using a heat gun to remove Goodwill price tags, then add a new price tag at 5x the price! When Vendors brought in Inventory, she would put it out when she felt like it, sometimes holding inventory for 2-3 weeks, while her stuff was priced and put out. When the Vendors complain, or questioned her, she kicked them out. She says they are lucky just to be there. And getting paid, was such a goose chase. Checks late every month, not on the 15th like promised, but often 5 weeks late. My friend was young, and loved to work with the older clientele. And when they bought furniture, all the owner did was complain about 'old people' asking for help to carry items! My friend watched this for a bit, then finally left before Christmas (their biggest selling season) last year. She said the humiliation of how she was treated working in that store was not worth the sales, and that it was not a good place for Vendors who are treated like second class citizens. I told her to write a review as she was so poorly treated and share the whole experience, but she didn't want to realize Fallon's wrath. So she has moved from Prescott, but still talks about the horrible experience, so now, I'm writing it for her! read more

Finally stopped into this corner shop this weekend & found An adorable little vintage shop with a mix of old & new! Very reasonable prices and unique items you will not find everywhere to add great decor to your home. What a lovely shop with furniture, decor and more. The salesgirl, Michelle, was simply a delight, a bubble of lively energy, personable, welcoming, helpful and informative. There is a nice selection of seasonal and affordable gift items for which I was most grateful being that Valentine's Day and Easter are around the corner. We visited this shop after last weekend's Holiday parade. We got there a tad later but the woman who was in the shop was the most gracious, patient, and just plain old, darn delightful human ever. She was happy to tell us all about Prescott and the holiday events going on this month. She was very kind and informative. I could kick myself for not getting her name. I really enjoyed my conversation with her. She directed us to the bathroom right away. My friend has cancer so we really appreciated that. We both browsed around the shop until it closed. Man, do they have the most delightful items in there. So cute and fun!!!!!!!! I especially loved the old school holiday decorations in the back garage type of room. The shop consists of three separate rooms filled with antiques and other fun, "down home" items as the store name suggests. The prices were pretty good too. Adorbs earrings for 7 bucks. Can't beat that. Stop by one day soon. You won't regret it. read more

An absolute delight! Beautiful decor, furniture and clothing. Nice selection of everything including seasonal and holiday, pet items and if you are a fan of shabby and farmhouse or French country like me, it's here. Prices are amazingly fair, selection is broad and constantly changing and the staff are lovely. There really is a Fallon and she's a sweetheart with impeccable taste!
