This visit was during the covid pandemic. We stopped in Pura Vida Gallery on a visit to Jerome, Az. It had a nice look on the outside and rules regarding being covid safe while in the gallery. The gallery had beautiful and unique items for sale. Most were made of natural materials like wood, stone and metal. Every room had different items on display. I would definitely go back and recommend stopping in on a visit to Jerome. The items are beautiful and worth spending some time viewing. Pura Vida - someone sweet once explained to me the meaning. I was in Jerome just visiting, run into this shop. As soon as I saw the name of the shop, I was drawn into here. I wasn't looking or in need of anything. Staff is very friendly with good knowledge of products they sell. He let me take my time to just look around, didn't push me, he quietly stood around paying attention to all the customers and available when customers wanted something. I was enjoying each scent of their homemade soap. He gently let me know they have other soap in different section of the store. They have so many nice stuff here, inviting and promoting peacefulness. Some of the things to decorate the house, I didn't purchase them but thinking about going back. I purchased a nice pair of earrings remind of me of vortex energy. Lavender scent soap is so delicate, love using it daily at home. Staff told me the owner really liked their visit to Costa Rica, hence the name of the store. This store represents sprites of Costa Rica and Sedona vortex. If your trip bring you to Jerome. Might find something you like. read more

This shop has an eclectic variety of candles, jewelry, decor, etc. The shop owners are very gracious and helpful. I really like the tear drop shaped candles they carry from an artist located in Pennsylvania. They are really pretty, burn for a long time, and come in a variety of colors. I stop in and pick up a couple every time I am visiting Jerome. They also have some beautiful oil lamps. One in particular that I was drawn to was shaped like a genie lamp. So cool and unique! I wish I had taken a photo of it when I was shopping. read more

Pura Vida has to be my favorite store in Jerome. Every time we go, I find something fabulous, sometimes for myself, but usually gifts for friends. Simply put, the owners have impeccable taste. Their jewelry is beautiful and unusual. I would wear almost everything in the store. If you want something stunning, yet subtle, this is your place. They have witch balls and candles, vases, glass sculptures, clothing, metal sculptures, incense, soaps, framed wall decor, side tables, and pottery pieces. Not a ton of every type of craft, but extremely well chosen ones, representing what must be the best and latest of an artist's work. I have also never felt ripped off, as sometimes you do in the higher end galleries. It's not cheap, but you feel that you have gotten a good value for your money. The owners are also very helpful and knowledgeable- they even remembered me and my husband from our visit a year ago and remembered what we had bought. I fully intend to make this at least an annual stop for gifts that make an impression. read more

Very little in this store stood out to me amongst all the galleries in Jerome. The two items that caught my eye were wonderfully shaped wooden candle holders and a certain tasteful T-shirt, but I have a feeling that's partly because there are so many truly ugly shirts to be had in tourist traps of this sort. The rest was OK but unremarkable things you'd probably be safe giving as gifts. Not tacky, just not must-haves. read more

I have a gorgeous silver bracelet that I bought at Pura Vida a few years ago. It's Indian made, and features several bands of beaded silver that wrap around each other to form a cuff. It is simple, beautiful and fits like a glove. Highly recommend Pura Vida for jewelry shopping if you're in Jerome. Great items, fair prices, nice people. read more

I agree with the majority of reviewers-this place is stunning. Jerome is such a unique place, the exterior of the town does not reveal that upon entrance to many of the shops they house the most unique, creative works of art you will ever come across. On my last visit to Jerome, I came across Pura Vida. Everything was fabulous and decently priced, but what I remember most is they had scarves made with pieces of fabric suspended within the framework of the scarf; they were absolute incredible works of art, the kind of thing you will never find in other stores. l am sorry I did not get one, but now I have an excuse to go back. read more

Amazing gallery! Absolutely great collection of jewelry and art for the home. A lovely place to spend the first Friday art walk. The owners are wonderful! They are helpful and not at all pushy. I was there with 5 girlfriends on a road trip from ca and we were blown away by this place. Despite widely varying styles, we each left with at least one piece of jewelry. Reasonably priced & unique. Of all the galleries we visited during our time in Jerome, this was hands-down our favorite. A must-do in Jerome! read more

So disappointed when I decided to go back to the gallery and buy a group of three fireballs for our home and a few more for gifts. The sign said ask the associate for help.. when I asked her to pull out a few to see how they went together she asked why and exactly where I thought she would put them, 'on the desk by the cash register". One of the coolest galleries or stores I have ever been in! Moderate prices on really cool functional art. Everything from wine accessories, wind chimes, votives shaped like fireballs, jewlery and more. We walked out with a olive dish made out of black glazed ceramic (fully functional and even microwave and dishwasher safe) and a copper bangle for $46. It seems their inventory is ever changing and I wish their store was in my home town so I could visit often. read more
