The lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and patient with me throughout all of my questions. I was blown away by her amazing service and how much effort she put into finding exactly what I was looking for. Moments later, I placed my first order for pickup to get started. Now, a few days later, I am heading back for another pickup. I was able to get exactly what I needed on their site azquilts.com. The prices are competitive and the fabric is FAR Superior to the fabric sold at big box stores. Since getting our first pickup, we have decided to only go to AZ quilts as their product is better and service is out of this world! I am in the process of taking my first quilting class and chose Arizona Quilts for my maiden foray into quilting. The fabric selections are amazing, the store well lit and all personnel very well versed in quilting. They are very patient as it took my friend and me about two hours to choose our fabrics for the sample quilt we are doing in class. Once I'm finished with the sampler, I'm looking forward to starting quilts for each of my granddaughters after the holidays. This is most definitely one of my favorite go to places to find 'just the right' fabric to complete the project. Or an inspirational piece to start a new one! While not as many fabrics as some stores, there's really quite a selection and they always have designs I just can't live without. I visit this great quilt shop every time I am in Arizona. I always get good ideas and find excellent fabrics. And the service is wonderful!

I have frequented this shop and taken classes. Recently I had to cancel a class which I did two weeks in advance, however the shop would not take back the $50. pattern for a refund or any other reimbursement. I won't be going back. Such poor customer service especially to an established customer. Very disappointing. read more

Great store for quilters - lots of fabric and ideas in the shop. Owners were extra outgoing b/c we were staying in a resort around the corner from where they lived. We live in Houston and were able to talk about the Houston Quilt show as well. Also talked to the employee doing the long arm quilting and will be using her to finish a couple of quilts my wife is working on. Store well laid out and prices are reasonable. Nice sales area as well. Would definitely recommend if in the area and looking for fabric or quilting ideas. read more

This shop is everything one could want from a quilt store. It is well laid out, with good lighting, not cluttered with a good selection of traditional, batiks, blenders, floral, novelty. Beautiful quilts on display throughout. There is a wide selection of notions and quilt magazines. There are "husband chairs" in the front with water and a basket of chocolates in the classroom. A separate room has a long arm. Staff friendly and helpful. Worthy of a return trip. read more

First visit to this quilt shop and the lady there was rude, short and not very helpful. She was nasty to me and when another lady came in and asked for material she was short with her too. She acted irritated the whole time I was there. I was visiting shops in the area for the 2016 Row by Row Experince. This was one bad experience and I won't be coming back here. Goods news, I stopped at the Sew Asylum just down the street and they were awesome. Plan on hitting there upcoming sale event on August 8, 2016. Will definitely bring my business to this shop. They've packed a lot in their small space. I'm a new quilter and found a nice selection for my quilt but was disappointed when i discovered the plaid was off, therefore cut off, and I lost a few inches of $12/yd fabric. My fellow veteran quilters said they should have known - and gave me a few extra inches. So my first experience turned sour over a few inches of fabric and it makes me wonder how they'll take advantage of me next time. read more

I just happened to see this shop while going to a spring training game. Loved the layout and selection. Prices were about what I expected. My only true "gripe" is that I wasn't greeted when I came in, even though there were at least 4 employees there. I didn't want someone to follow me around but I do believe a "hi" "can I help you find something" "let me know if you have any questions" is always appropriate. I will go back but I do wish small business owners could figure this out. read more

I stopped in to purchase QOV quilting panels. Good choices but the owner refused to correct a miss cut on a roll of Statute of Liberty Panels so my purchase would be a center cut. I was going to purchase 10 panels but the ignorance of the owner to refuse correcting someone else's error caused me to walk out. read more

Great quilt shop! Lots of variety in their fabrics. Plenty of batiks, holiday and traditional fabrics, along with fun modern prints. They also always have a great clearance section. I love it because they don't just put random fabrics on clearance. They will add a whole line, so you can get plenty of matching fabrics at a great price.
