My machine never worked correctly even after servicing. I did have them try again and it was 2 weeks. Again, it did not work correctly. My husband then went on multiple websites and talked to reps and found that the computer part of the machine was last updated in 2018!!! The racing of my sewing machine and then eedle threader never working was never repaired. The repair prices went up to $175.00!! I tried to tell this shop that their repair people did not know what they were doing and I was brushed off!!! No one should have to fo 6 weeks , thennot even have anything done. Also sometimes racing is caused by the foot peddle, which the repair people do not test!!

I tried to call another location to get the owners info, and was told that Becky is in fact in charge of all the locations and is the head of Sas. I had not great experiences at the Phoenix sewing multi-brand store (not Mulqueen or Bernina). I had said I wanted to stay under $1k and had received the most appalled reaction and customer service. Contrast to Mulqueen. Walk in, all the machines are on & ready to play with. I had called to check availability of a few models and chose this location over tempe based on machines on the floor. I brought scraps with me & set to testing but was quickly confused by some of the buttons. A woman appeared right about that time, sat down next to me and walked me through it. Keep in mind this was a $500 machine not $3k or something. She even suggested a less expensive version next to it often used in their classes (Janome) ultimately decided this was too basic & I missed computerized so she walked me to the Juki I requested next & I quickly set to work testing it. This particular model (hzl f600) was over m y budget but I knew the basic functionality was similar to the ones I was considering. Absolutely loved it! Denim, slippery rayon, no issues. She said you know we might have this used. She walked me to the oasis of used/refurb machines. They had every machine I was considering-available used/refurb and under $1k!! I ultimately got the f600 used -could not be happier-and saved enough to buy way more fabric than I need. My only complaint is we need a location in Phoenix or Scottsdale!!!! The gentleman in the refurb area was also super helpful answering questions the woman couldn't (she had long gray hair but didn't catch a name). Well worth the 35 minute drive & seriously only place I will go for machines.

In the end I decided to pay the extra $60 for a rush order and was given a wait time of about a week instead of the usual four weeks, I was so pleasantly suprised when it was finished just two days later! The pricing is reasonable, the workers are knowledgeable and so kind, and I'm definitely coming back when I'm done with whatever my next project. :)

However, what their core products have always been for over 25 years is providing us with everything you need for inside and outside of your home. Whether it's to recover or make new window awnings, re-cover your furniture on the inside and the outside, recover your boat seats, home decor, tote bags, throw pillows, make bean bag chairs, kids & adult crafts, and anything else you can imagine, even curtains. It is one-stop shopping for unusual fabrics, trim, etc., needed for stage, theater, and Halloween costumes, and the unusual trimmings that go with them. I have used it for exotic fabrics for Christmas and Easter pageants at my church. I also used it to recover the seating on a used boat, and the canvas needed to replace the top sun shade covering over the cab of the boat. Have also bought tough canvas to make a back patio cover. They also sell leather hides. Those are the types of materials you can find here, along with whatever hardware is needed to go with the installation of your do-it-yourself project involving indoor fabric & outdoor material. Bring your finished item back in, pick out the grommets needed to hang it, and as a great convenience, they will stamp those grommets in for you for a nominal price. We are blessed to have this brick-and-mortar store in our city. I just can't get used to this new online way of choosing material from a small 2 x 2 photo. Is my computer screen showing me the true color? What is the true thickness...what the heck is 2mm? I absolutely need to see and feel the material to know if it will work for me. Once it's paid for, cut, and received by you, it is non-returnable. We all know we've lost good money doing shopping this way. Please make the trip and see this store; you will not be disappointed.
