Stopped in on the way to work for a quick burrito. When I entered I was greeted by a very friendly woman. I placed my order, a chorizo, potato, egg, chili, and cheese burrito. While waiting we discussed the weather outside. She was very nice. The burrito itself was excellent. I ordered extra spicy, and there was not much spice detected, but it was all very good. It is small, you order at the counter and there is nowhere to sit, but it was very good carry out food. I would recommend stopping by when in the area. Oh, and her credit card machine was broken so it was cash only. Luckily, I had some cash, so no big deal. Plenty of parking, but I could see the parking lot filling up quickly at certain times of the day as it is a small lot and there are 3 or 4 businesses in the shipping center. read more

Ran across this place when I was starving in the morning for a breakfast burrito. The restaurant is ran by the mother and a son and they have the most beautiful energy when you walk in and it translates into the food. The prices are absolutely amazing. This little hole in the wall breakfast and lunch place is very clean and has good customer service. The have lots of options to choose from for such a small place:burritos, nachos, tacos and tamales, snacks and cakes. My husband loves getting breakfast or lunch there in the weekends. He likes the nachos, chicken tacos, smothered breakfast burritos, tamales and the huevos con chorizo. He says the sauces and salsa are really good too, especially if you like it spicy. You would never know it existed unless you were searching for 'delicious breakfast burritos to go near me' in Yelp. They do a daily special BB for $4 every day, favorite thus far is the chorizo but they have all been solid, just go with the daily unless you are craving something more specific. After several attempts and conquering my personal battle with heartburn I have found that the Xtra hot green chile is the way to go. Not super hot overall but the flavor is awesome. I usually grab two when I go and throw one in the fridge to have something to look forward to the next day, throw it in the oven for 20 minutes and you get to revisit the glory! read more

First visit - Solid 4 stars for the hand-held breakfast burrito. Egg, potato, bean, cheese and sausage (tasty breakfast sausage), medium spicy, made fresh. Excellent flavor and perfect green chili to ingredients ratio. I don't like a dry hand-held burrito and this one was very "saucy" without being too messy. 3 stars for food, 5 stars for service, I split the difference. We're on a quest for the best breakfast burrito in the area and unfortunately this wasn't it. The tortilla was chewy and delicious but the eggs had clearly been made earlier and added to the burrito when I ordered- they were dry and crusty. The sausage burrito had one sausage link in the middle, most bites didn't have any meat. I also ordered a cherry turnover which had great flavor but was a little too dry and flaky for my preference. I like them a little fresher. The girl at the counter though, all by herself in the place, was friendly and fast, and she gets credit for that. We will come back to grab some tamales or a bean and cheese burrito, but we won't be back for breakfast. read more

Terrible. The worst tamales I have ever had. Yesterday morning ordered 1/2 dozen of red chili and pork to go. When we opened at home they were a dry, crumbling, mess. Recently after months of boasting to my office, I picked up Yareths' breakfast burritos and brought them into my office, so my bona fide breakfast burrito connoisseur of a boss could give me his opinion on them. He was out that morning and lunch, so the burrito sat in the fridge until dinner. Even after a day long session in the fridge, he rated his first encounter with a Yareths Breakfast Burrito as a 9.5. Don't be deceived by the look of this place. I love breakfast burritos. I've tried numerous around the northwest Denver area and after careful consideration this place is my favorite. My go to breakfast burrito has eggs, potatoes, sausage, cheese and green chili and won't break the bank at $3 and change. Every time I've come here the same sweet lady is running the place and is always smiling, friendly and fast. It's a clean and quick little take out spot. Craving a breakfast burrito on my day off I consulted the oracle (aka bookmarked Yelp businesses). I landed on Yareths which happened to be in the area I was running errands in. I opted for the handheld potato, egg and medium green chili burrito. For $3 this was a nicely done burrito. It didn't rock my world but was pretty solid especially at the price point it was at. First time we stopped in it was for a tamale competition. Up against La Popular and another place this was the winner! Definitely a hole in the wall, and it is only take out! Tamales are yummy, chili relleno are good, didn't do the crispy as they had to "heat up the oil" and i didn't want to wait. I'll call ahead next time. I'm eating a breakfast burrito from Yareth's right now. I bought it an hour an a half ago and it's still warm! Not piping hot, understandably, but totally warmer than I would think for being made an entire hour and a half ago! I chose: potato, egg, cheese, ham and mild green chili (handheld). It cost a whopping $3.77, out the door. Amazing. There are lots of pieces of nice diced ham, along with fluffy eggs. I didn't taste too much potato, but that's actually great for me because I'd rather taste eggs and meat (and cheese!). Their green chili is really delicious, and the star of the show, imo. It's very flavorful and has a nice spice to it, even though it is mild (actually the perfect amount of spice for me). My husband got some medium green chili to go last week and it is definitely quite a bit spicier than the mild. I cant imagine what their hot tastes like. But I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy things. It's also convenient that this place is about 5 minutes from our new place. Convenient and dangerous lol. I hope to try lots more things on their menu in the future. Yareth's is an excellent spot for cheap Mexican food in NW Denver. It's a hole in the wall close to Regis University and I always see all types flocking here for their green chili and fried Mexican delights. I've really been enjoying their chile relleno burritos, breakfast burrito specials and their tamales. For 3$ you can walk out with a full breakfast burrito filled with their green chili. Sometimes, I will ask for them to go easy on the chili because they can really load It up and it makes for a soupy burrito experience. It's right down the street from my house so it s a convenient morning walk and we've even had hem cater a 30 burrito order for a class field trip before. They are so nice and it seems to be the same tight knit crew there every time I go in. Love Yareth's. read more

OK not a resturaunt per se. This is take out only. It is on 52nd and Tennyson in a old seedy strip mall. Few parking spaces available. It is located between Sunnyside liquors and Han D market. You may have to wait a while because locals love it here...there is usually only one person running the show. That is cook..counter help and cashier. Now about the food. You must have the tamales. Probably the best in Denver. I eat out a lot and I rate all tamales to Yareth's. Pork ones are the best. They have vegetarian ones too. At Thanksgiving and Christmas pre-order because they sell out. read more

If not, I'd like to know how you are using Yelp without a face. The menu is extensive, but sticks to it's guns. There isn't anything fancy going on here. This isn't Mexican Thai fusion - it's just delicious, authentic, AFFORDABLE, Mexican food. I ordered 7 tacos and a burrito, plus some guac just to check how things were going at Yareth's. How are they going? HOLY SHIT THEY ARE GOING INCREDIBLE. The hard shell tacos are fantastic. The corn tortillas were freshly made at some point in the recent days compared to most places that have stale, old corn tortillas. In fact, if you are used to a place that is buying tortillas and having them sit on the shelf you probably wont even realize what that flavor punching you in the mouth is. Don't worry, it's just Yareth's. Speaking of punching you in the mouth, their x-hot sauce is xxx hot. It's legit spicey in a way that most places do NOT know how to do. I have lived in NW Denver which is now a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood for almost 10 years - and there is no shortage of authentic Mexican restaurants up here. However, I have NEVER been to a Mexican place that has sauce this hot. It's neon green - which is nature is usually a warning NOT to eat. I tore into the sauce though, and I was not disappointed with the heat. I'm not sure WHAT makes it so hot, but it had both of my eyes watering profusely. This place kicks ass! I have been doing renovations on a home in the area, and saw this place tucked into a little shopping center with a liquor store, and a convenience store. I stopped in, and got a breakfast burrito (egg, potato, pork, hot chile, and cheese). The service was fast and the person at the counter/cook was pleasant. The burrito came out freshly prepared and hot in a minute or two. I couldn't believe how heavy it was - probably 3/4 pound. It was a little softer than others, very juicy, and a little hard to eat while driving. Next time I'll just eat it in the parking lot, or wait til I'm where I need to be, but I guarantee there will be a next time. The burrito cost was only $3, and was more filling (and delicious) than 2 burritos from Santiago's, my previous favorite. I can't wait to try the other offerings here. I'll definitely be back here, even if I have to go a few miles out of my way to get there. read more

Where to start? Some friends did a tamale comparison, between Yareth's and La Popular. Yareth's hands down. I was actually not a tamale person until we did this. Their tamales (we got a few each option) were amazing, so tasty and dry like the desert. To hedge on my liking tamale's we got some taco's too, they were good, but now I'll be going just for the tamales. I do want to try their breakfast burritos one of these days. read more

Meh. Yelp let me down for the first time. I went with the breakfast burrito with no meat, and it was just...meh. I thought the food would be great due to the reviews, but it warrants 2.5 stars in my opinion. The whole burrito was just soft and mushy - I couldn't figure out what was egg versus what was potato, and the cheese and chili just blended together to make a hodgepodge of mush wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't gross, just not very exciting to eat. The lady who worked there was nice, so it saves this from a two star review, but the food was just not up to par. I guess it would work in a pinch, and it's pretty cheap, but I would definitely not seek it out. read more
