Alright, there is literally a beer for every type of person here. Fruity, sour, gluten free... you name it, they probably have it. For not being a beer person, I was able to find a beer I enjoyed: a hard cider named Ace Guava. It was so delicious that I ordered a second glass. My friend and I sat at the bar. We came for happy hour and enjoyed half priced apps. Poke nachos are always a staple. My friend and I tried the pizza and their lettuce wraps. Everything was hot and tasty. The service was spectacular. The bartenders put the tab infront of you in a glass so you can pay at your convenience. We didn't feel rushed and we were able to pay and eat on our own time. Let me start by saying I love yard house, and go often. This experience was pretty bad though and worth mentioning. I ordered a Truly. Which is on tap. I wanted a pub glass, which is the larger serving. I ordered it with out ice. I was served my drink in a rocks double glass. When I questioned it, I was told when ordered without ice that this was the appropriate glass. However, the serving size of beer (which is also a draft drink) is not changed based on whether or not you order it with ice. I told my server I wanted the appropriate serving that I was being charged for. He sent the manager (Maureen) who also happened to be bartending today. She told me that based on the fact that I was not taking ice she would be changing the serving size but charging me for the larger drink. I informed her that I frequent yard house often (there are 2 in my area) and no one has ever done this before. She shrugged her shoulders and told me this was the way it is. So beer drinkers would get the appropriate drink size for their draft drinks, but my truly draft size would be altered because I wasn't taking it with ice. I've been wanting to visit a Yard House for a long time. Since I was at the Willlowbrook Mall, I decided to stop by with some friends. The interior is very spacious, with a long bar in the center. The food was the standout, however. The chicken nachos were delicious and the Pepper Jack burger was probably the best burger I've had in years. It was really that tasty. I stumbled upon Yard House after leaving Willowbrook Mall and was not disappointed. The Poke nachos are literally the only reason I come! It's lightly drizzled with truffle oil, and a little spice from the peppers. Honestly, it's the most popular appetizer here. I've ordered the truffle fries before and they were nothing special. Met up here recently with family and friends after a long day working from home. The atmosphere is much better than the depressing Sears that once occupied this spot for about 40 years. We sat where I think the dungaree bins used to be. If you've never been here before, it's a slightly better version of your typical chain bar. What sets this place apart from the rest is the mind boggling assortment of beer. Want to know the name of my friends who joined me at the table? Lemmy Kilmister, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie. And they were SO loud! I wanted to talk about how nicely my Impossible Burger was cooked, but that damn Lemmy would drown me out with him raging about the "Ace of Spades". Asking my guests how their food tasted was met with Bowie interrupting the conversation to explain how he was, "under pressure". And don't get me started about Freddie! Not only did he make it hard for me to understand what the waitress said, he cautioned that, "another one bites the dust" on more than one occasion! Hey Yard House, the food is great, but turn the volume down from 12 to 11. And unless it was national Freddie Mercury Day, I don't understand why you inserted Queen in every other track on your playlist. There are many great artists from that era, so please add some more variety. I'll get you started: Tony Orlando, REO Speedwagon, and Bread. There, thank you. I have been to three yard houses and this was an excellent experience. All of the staff are friendly and professional and the restaurant is immaculate. I guarantee these are the cleanest bathrooms at the willowbrook mall. I love their tomato soup and it was perfect as always, my friends Thai boneless wings were delicious and their chicken nachos was big enough for five people to share! The yard house is a glorified chain with a ton of beers on tap as well as significantly above average food. As far as chains go this is one of my favorite places to grab a beer and bite with the boys. I had a couple Baptist Wit's my personal favorite belgium beer. We had the poke nachos and chicken lettuce wraps as apps, both were phenomenal. The chicken lettuce peanut sauce was A1 as well as the poke nachos, just to die for. For my entree I got the nashville chicken sandwich, not as spicy as I wouldve liked but still added that sweet southern taste which Im a fan off. Saw this girl on Tik Tok eating all the apps here and it looked so good we had to try for ourselves. We saw a table next to us get these giant glasses of beer, turns out they were 32 ounces. Our waiter, Daniel suggested we try the New Belgium Juicy Haze and the House Honey Blonde. Both tasted good and we loved the glasses they came in. We decided not to get our own meals and just share a bunch of appetizers. We got the Ahi Poke Nachos, Onion Ring Tower, Firecracker Shrimp, Truffle Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Boneless Buffalo Wings, Korean Chili Wings, Cheese Curds, Ancho BBQ Wings, and Beer Fried Chicken Tenders. I can 100% say that everything we had was absolutely great. The Ahi Poke was one of my favorites but there definitely needed to be more tuna added. Out of all the wings the bbq and the Korean chili were our favorites. I was also happy because we were able to order all flats..not a lot of places will do that for you!! The firecracker shrimp was very good as well but the rice on the bottom needed to be a little more crispy. The cheese curds were a 10/10 especially with the hot honey sauce; they were addicting to keep eating, like popcorn. The truffle fries were crispy not soggy but the sweet potato fries were a bit burnt so I wouldn't order that again. The buffalo sauce on the boneless wings was extremely spicy and we couldn't really enjoy them. The beer fried chicken was cooked nicely, the chicken was soft, moist but had a good crunch. After the boys finished their first round of beer they decided to try the House Belgium Gold, which they also enjoyed but not as much as the first round. For dessert we got the Brookie with ice cream and the Cheesecake Brulee. If you definitely want something sweet after I would just stick to the brookie, but the dessert wasn't entirely our fav. When we come back we would probably skip dessert. Took us a while to be seated even though there were a lot of empty tables. The restaurant had a sports bar type vibe. Our server Daniel was very welcoming since it was our first time. He recommended some great options for us to order, brought out everything we asked for, and was talkative. My family and I went on opening day. They have a beautiful restaurant that is spacious and inviting. The bar is huge and has so many wonderful beers in tap. I went to the Yard House and ordered their cheesesteak with onion rings and the waiter never put the order in for me or the person I was with. We ordered drinks and sat there for almost hour waiting for our food and it never arrived. An hour plus into our ordeal, the waiter finally realized his mistake and apologized. Clearly, he was new and made a mistake and didn't place the order right because I watched over a dozen being done on the same machine other employees were using without any issues and I watched people all around us getting food while we twiddled our thumbs. After he apologized to us, he then claims he will "jump" the order so we get our food right away and that never happened. After about another 20 minutes as we are getting ready to just leave hungry, the food arrives. And, after sampling it, I wish it never did because it was lukewarm after being overcooked and my onion rings were soggy and cold. If I wanted crappy food like that I could have gotten the same quality from a vendor off a street corner in Manhattan that would have tasted better than this and for 1/3 of the price we paid. The waiter never offered us free drinks, a free desert, or even a discount on the meal for making us wait so long to receive such crappy and cold food. Stay away from this place because even McDonald's serves food better than this place. read more

I've only been here 3 times. Each time I get one of their burgers and one of the beers they have out of their massive selections. The burger is the bomb. Perfectly cooked and very much like off a charcoal grill. It's got the crispy charcoal flavor on the outside, I could even see light seasoning in the burger itself as well.
