Our server, Mike.

As usual a great time at The Oakley. The tacos were incredible and the service was excellent! Lively crowd added to the fun.

I wanted to like this place. I really did, but here's the deal. We got here at 12:00 on a Saturday. 8 of us. They open at noon. The place was empty except for us and 4 others. So 12 people in there. The kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. Our food came out in stages. My turkey burger was tasty but it was hopelessly overcooked and worse, it was ice cold. Look at the picture. The cheese wasn't the least bit soft anymore. The prime rib was supposed to be on garlic bread - which frankly was the reason it won over the burger. But it didn't taste AT ALL like garlic bread. So much so we had to ask the server to ask the kitchen to be sure. She came back and said yes it is. Uh okay then. So it was very disappointing. The short rib sandwich was the only good one of the bunch. It was cold but too but tasty. And the chips were delicious and made well. The coffee tasted very odd. Not sure what kind it is but it has the strangest taste. I don't recommend it. I am finding it hard to understand how they can handle a dinner crowd when the kitchen had a hard time with 12 people in the place. To be clear - server was great. The fault was the kitchen.

Forgot to take pictures yesterday.., so I came back.

This is a pretty cool place. Actually came here last night with my girlfriend and forgot to take pictures. Sat outside on the deck which was really nice. Nice beer selection. We started with the guacamole and chips. Very nice flavor. (3) Carnitas tacos. Filled nicely and tasted great. We split the Korean BBQ bowl with steak. This dish was outstanding!! The cauliflower was delicious. A great mixture of flavors. Limoncello flute was great, not to tart. Chocolate cake was awesome!! Anna was our waitress.. but everyone seemed to help out... excellent service by all. So..... tonight we went back because I told the hubs it was good. We ordered the roasted wings... they were very good. Nice and crispy. Poutine was big, lots of pork and fries. Pork was nice and crispy and tasted great with the cheese. Tomato soup with grilled cheese. So so... Hubs got the burger with bacon and the bacon/onion marmalade. The flavors were excellent, burger was tender but they did overcook the burger. Service was great but the kitchen was backed up a bit. Waited an hour for the burger. Otherwise it's still a great place, good food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Amazing gluten-free options and delicious "normal menu." Chill atmosphere with occasional live music and karaoke. Outdoor seating and cozy indoor seating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Fried cauliflower was good!

The place was very busy on a Friday night ! They had live music ,which we enjoyed, along with some margaritas and fried cauliflower. The service was fairly quick considering how busy the bartender was.

Great for watching football! Came for the Sunday Football specials so I could munch while my husband watched the games. I learned that the specials were only at the bar which was fine because there was plenty of seating. I was never handed anything with the Sunday Football specials on it so I just referred to the online menu I pulled up on my phone. My husband loved that there were so many tvs and all the games were on. The atmosphere gave a fun chill vibe. We ordered chicken nachos and bbq sliders. Both were good but the bbq sliders were definitely our favorite. Will definitely be back in the future!

I definitely love the aesthetic in this little place. It's cute & cozy inside! The staff is nice. I just wish they had more options food wise on their menu. I probably wouldn't go back for food but definitely will be back to hang out and have a few drinks.

What is the music choice?

We have various bands every thursday, friday and satirday night. Check our FB or IG page for weekly updates on who is performing. Our website usually has an updated calendar of performers also.

I loved the crab cakes that was on the menu one night. When will you have them again. Why not at least every friday?

Hey, we select our specials based on what is available at the market and of the best quality, we will look to get them back in the near future.

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

If you get her as your server, it's a start to a pleasant and great meal. Angelina knows what she's talking about! One feedback would be to learn how to better time the serving of the foods. We got our soup and shrimp cocktail as starters but literally 3 minutes later, our entrees were served to the table. Our entrees got cold while we tried to finish our starters. Please look to have the servers better time the serving of entrees AFTER the starters are finished. I had the New England Clam Chowder and the Prime rib. The clam chowder was tasty but lacked clams. They added andouille sausage to the chowder to give it a nice tasty twist but this should not have taken away from the amount of clams expected in a clam chowder. Prime rib was a good thick cut. But served warm and almost at room temperature. Not exactly how I would like my prime rib. Shoe string fries were tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Clam Chowder and Shrimp Cocktail as starters, followed by Cajun Sea Pasta and a bunch of side dishes - southern Coke slaw, black beans and rice and the loaded baked potato. Shrimps in the shrimp cocktail was good sized shrimp topped with old bay seasoning. The pasta was seasoned just right, very tasty and delicious. Cole slaw was crunchy which meant the Cole slaw was freshly made and not sitting in the sauce for too long. Loaded baked potato was of good size and baked to the right softness. Black beans and rice was the only side dish that was a bit too salty but went great when mixed with the baked potato. Overall, we were impressed with Angelina's services, friendliness of the staff and quality of the foods.

I really wanted to give 4 or 5 stars, I think it has great potential to reach that. The home made…read moresalad dressings are phenomenal. the "Nonnas lasagna" was extremely burnt, so hard we could not cut it, it also lacked authentic flavor. The chicken tacos with rice and beans on the side were phenomenal! The Cesar salad was good but we did get served some browned romaine which i noticed half way through and couldn't finish eating it. I had the salmon and it has a fishy taste, it was also very small looked like 4-5oz. Although I asked for it well done, I did not expect it to be BURNT it was literally black like charred on the whole bottom and top. The wild rice/orzo chilled salad really lacked flavor and was quite the conundrum, I think this side should be improved or changed out completely. The roasted chicken with mashed potato's was excellent. Our server was very absent minded, although she circled and passed by she NEVER once stopped and checked in after serving the food to ask "how is everything?" so we didn't even get a chance to tell her about the burnt lasagna but fortunately the food runner and a different server did pass by us and checked on us ecause they saw us with our necks out looking for our server who had actually passed by us but didn't even look at us...I found it strange that for such a fine establishment the server had not been drained to check on the table 2-5 minutes after each course is served. We had a 3 course meal. A salad to start, followed by the chicken tacos and Nonna lasagna as a second appetizer, then our main dishes. Not once did she check on us after the food was served. I will return in a few months to see if there has been any improvement. The manager did take the lasagna off the bill after the busser brought the plate back. However the waitress never came or made any comments about it. She truly lacked hospitality, personality, and attention To details. I don't remember her name i don't think she Even provided it... the dessert menu also could be better being that there are other restaurants in the area with better dessert options. I think this place needs something good that makes it unique... maybe a story to tell by the server for first times guest or any suggestions etc.

It's already a bit inconvenient to come up with a dish on the spot, but to go the extra mile by caring that it would be satisfying as a main dish was really very kind. And it turned out fantastic. This restaurant has so much going for it in the quality of its ingredients and dish compositions. I would encourage the chef to consider how the can apply their creativity to a dedicated vegan dish as well. We had high expectations for your restaurant, given its reputation, and the many times we frequent your establishment. However, unfortunately, several issues arose that significantly impacted our evening. We arrived for our reservation and began at the bar with a drink before moving to our table. (2-glasses of bar wine) We sat at the table and then ordered a second glass of wine, which took approximately 15 minutes to arrive--despite the restaurant appearing relatively quiet after 7 PM with only a four-tables occupied. When we inquired at the bar, we were told there were no glasses available, which should have been addressed proactively. Additionally, when reviewing the menu, we did not see a ribeye listed on the menu. We asked the server if there was one available. Our server explained that a ribeye was available for $85. We proceeded to order it (along with a salad, as no other green vegetable options like spinach was available). However, the server later clarified that the $85 price referred to a different steak, and the ribeye we received was priced at $199. This was at the time we received the final bill. This misunderstanding was not clearly communicated upfront, leading to confusion and total disappointment! To make matters worse, when the steak arrived, it appeared totally undercooked (essentially raw in the center), and by the time we addressed it and attempted to proceed, our accompanying mashed potatoes had gone cold. The meat never tastes correct when recooked after bring sliced!!!!!Overall, we felt the service and communication was unacceptable, leaving us confused and terribly dissatisfied. As the owner and chef, is well respected I wrote to him only to find no reply at all. No manager was available on-site to assist us at the time. Upon arrival at this cozy, inviting, and relaxed BYOB establishment, we were greeted by the owner, Robert, and got a table immediately by the window. She was very attentive and made our meal pleasant and comfortable. I started with a Blood Orange Margarita (Calirosa 'Rosa Blanca' Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh sour, blood orange). This drink was VERY GOOD. The hint of blood orange was the perfect amount of sweetness and I was content with my selection. The appetizer was the Slow-Roasted Meatballs (porcini-dusted veal, pork, grass-fed beef, tomato-basil sauce, brick-oven bread). Each meatball was tender, flavorful, well seasoned, and the sauce was sufficient to accompany every forkful of the delicious starter. The entrees were: Caramelized Sea Scallops (broccolini, mascarpone risotto). Next was the Seasonal Brick-Oven Gnocchi (roasted mushrooms, truffle oil, roasted tomatoes, Marsala and provolone sauce, green onions). The final entree was the Mediterranean Wood-Grilled Chicken Salad (arugula, toybox tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, chickpeas, quinoa, feta, lemon dijon vinaigrette). For dessert, Seasons 52 graciously offered a free dessert for my birthday. Another nice touch that places Seasons 52 on a pedestal. I chose the Key Lime Pie Mini (graham cracker crust, whipped cream). The mini dessert was deliciously sweet, the graham crust provided an appreciated different texture, and I highly recommend these mini selections.
