It's been a while since I've been to a Yard House restaurant so when this location opened nearby, we decided to check it out for date night. It was barely OK. We arrived around 9pm on a Saturday in early March. The place wasn't very busy, we were vaguely greeted by a bored host, but were seated immediately in the quiet, dimly lit bar area. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful. I ordered the Pink Dragon margarita which was so salty I had to request a replacement, even then, it was NOT good - tasted nothing like description: tequila with grand marnier and dragon fruit agave. No "black salt" either, not that it matters. I'd venture to say this margarita was gross. I wouldn't order it again or recommend it to anyone. I wondered if the bartender knew what he/she was supposed to be making... We ordered the spinach dip appetizer to start and it wasn't very good either. It was lukewarm, flavorless, and dry, as if someone mixed spinach and cream cheese together, heated it for too long in a microwave, then broiled some stale kraft Parmesan cheese on top. Chips were a disappointment. My Caesar side-salad was huge and *lightly* tossed in a bland dressing, topped with croutons and the least Parmesan-tasting shaved "Parmesan" ever, more like imitation-Parmesan flavored plastic. I've had better salad-in-a-bag from Costco. My boyfriend ordered the sliders. Again, very dry. Patties seemed to have been sitting in a warmer for hours. An indistinguishable smear of sauce on each bun. The cheddar was suspect, since it wasn't hot, it appeared more like orange oily plastic squares than real cheddar. Total fail. Hard pass on the fries too. How do you ruin French fries? I almost forgot, the sliders were also served with thinnest limp pickle "spear" ever, like someone sliced an actual pickle spear into thirds. It was laughable, why bother? This whole dish seemed like the kitchen was trying to cut costs by skimping on condiments, using up old patties and stale bread. We both agreed we'd rather have a slider meal across the parking lot at White Castle, and we don't like White Castle! I chose the Chicken Enchilada Stack for my meal and this was the best (certainly the most impressively plated) dish of the night, but I wasn't impressed enough order it again. The enchilada stack does have potential, it might be really good on another night or prepared by another cook. While I love spicy food, I didn't expect the pinto beans to be drowning in spicy chipotle sauce. They should mention this, in case customers don't want their beans smothered in this way. While the sauce was fine for the enchiladas, there was way too much of it on the plate so I didn't eat more than a few bites of the beans. While we'd originally planned to order espresso martinis and share the bread pudding, we decided against that given the poor F&B quality so far, and went to another bar for our after-dinner drinks. My daughter and her friends recently had plans to meet there for a birthday dinner and I basically told her what NOT to order - nearly everything we tried during our visit. I don't imagine we'll return to this restaurant. While our server was great, our food was not. The price point is far too high for the poor quality of food and sad margaritas. I wouldn't get them again. My Buffalo chicken pizza was delicious, They use breaded Buffalo chicken which was different. It was enough to share. I love the happy hour (M-F 3pm-6pm) because most apps are half off lolol Sliders: 10/10 fills you up but pretty balanced, I'd prob suggest adding another pickle or something because one was not enough for all four sliders, and they can get a little boring to eat after the second one. This place is always packed but we manage to get seated fairly quickly. The ambiance is that of a typical bar/restaurant, dark and loud music. The food is always good here. It was my first time having fish and chips and boy was I excited about that decision! The best part about it was the dipping sauce. I'm not sure what was in it but it's the type of sauce where it tasted so good you'd want to just drink it or find anything to dip into it. The tartar/horseradish was actually pretty good and flavorful. My son got the jambalaya and really enjoyed it. My husband got the new shrimp tacos and he devoured the whole plate before I could take a picture. For a Sunday lunch, it wasn't too crowded, the food was great and the service was ok. Oh and on a side note, if you order a flavored tea, if you want it to be sweet, ask for sweet tea with whatever flavor otherwise you will have to dump in a lot of sugar to get the flavor you want. Also, one thing that I really like about this place is that they have a variety of options on the menu, gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan, this to me is something special. I really enjoy going to a place that has these options. Not to mention not just 2 or 3 options but a list full. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a variety of items to choose from. From the moment we walked in, the service was great and we were seated promptly. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! So apparently this location is new and has only been open for about 3 weeks now. It's really nice, clean, and new looking. Very convenient location wise. Apart of the casino, free parking lot available. I came on a Friday night so it was crowded and had a wait, but eventually were seated. Our server was nice. The service was decent, and the food was good. They are very strict when it comes to their alcohol policies. The calamari was delicious and such a perfect appetizer. The Korean ribeye was pretty good, and so were the sweet potato fries. The lobster garlic noodles were good as always. We got nachos and added carne asada and they were so delicious. The whiskey glazed salmon was really good and I enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini very much! Ofcourse we had to check out the new yard house in town... party of 11. We celebrated my brother in-laws 42nd birthday. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Our waiter was super fast got our drinks when she returned she took our order for dinner. We ordered 3 calamari for starters but only 2 came out so for the 3rd order they hooked it up. We got most of our order but they messed up on the two burgers we ordered. They gave my boyfriend the wrong burger instead of giving him the truffle mushroom they gave him the jalapeño burger which burned his throat. But his original burger didn't come out yet. 20 minutes after both burgers came out but it was rare they both ordered medium rare. Picture to be shown. We called the manager name Debbie she was super sweet and took it back to the kitchen. At this time they didn't want to wait and ruined their appetite so we had it made to go. They copped the two burgers so that was awesome. Service recovery. We all paid for the bill and asked for the cake. Waited another 20 minutes until we asked another worker. Upon leaving we asked for to go containers from two different servers. Overall experience the manager did great with service recovery. We just got through watching a movie and decided to go checkout Yard House to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials. Walking in, I could see that the place was very crowded, but thankfully, a table was being cleaned and we were seated in just a few minutes. This place is a great gathering spot! Lots of people, lots of TVs, very good vibes here! You order off a small machine that's on the table, it's very easy to use, and even had pictures of everything. We ordered several items, and had to limit ourselves because everything sounded so good! Seared Tuna, chicken lettuce wraps, poke nachos, fried calamari, fried cheese curds, and some cheeseburger sliders. Everything arrived, one after the other, and was everything was very, very good! The bread was dry and the tomatoes weren't ripe (still largely green.) There was plenty of bacon. As usual, the service was excellent, the booth was comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place was great. I took half of the sandwich with me and will remake it on some fresh bread for dinner. I had a reservation for a later time but arrived early, and they were very accommodating. So if you're ever in Vegas, take the drive to Henderson -- it's worth it! Now as for Beau Boskey at the Town Square location, who tried to seat me on the patio with a $1200 minimum, he could really take lessons from Debbie when it comes to customer service. First off...we LOVE yard House! We usually go to the Yard House at the Red Rock because of where we live, but we were staying the weekend at Sunset Station for a soccer tournament so of course we had to hit this one up as well! The Yard House at Sunset Station is at the front of the Casino and has the same look, feel and set up as you would find at any of their restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, and great service as always too. We stopped in for a quick bite and drink during the day and it did not disappoint. My daughter had the sliders that she loves and I got the Korean Chili Garlic wings. As always, the food and service was fantastic and nothing but good things to say about our experience. If you are a fan of Yard House, this is another one of their fantastic locations. If you haven't been, you gotta check out their incredible menu and awesome drinks. The place is located connected with Sunset Station Casino & Hotel. It does offer an outside entrance to the business, as well as an entrance from the casino. It appears to be a very popular spot for folks to gather, because it was very busy with a lot of folks waiting to be seated. I opted to order my food to go. I ordered the calamari and the Fish & Chips dinner. I can easily say that you will not go away hungry. The calamari was an appetizer but still had a sizable serving. It came with marinara sauce & tartar sauce. The fish came with several large pieces of fish that was battered that was light and still crispy when I got back to my hotel. It also comes with choice of fries (reg plain, seasoned, truffle or garlic) and nice coleslaw. The location offers outdoor seating as well, as a large indoor space. The young lady (Naomi) that took my order was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this location or any of their other locations while visiting or if you live here. read more
