We have come to this location several times and the service has always been good. I can say the same about this particular time on March 8th of 2025 with the exception of the waitress forgetting our order of guacamole and chips. The food is usually good -- however this time, my sister in law found a piece of sharp gold metal in her garlic lobster noodles. I called the restaurant the night of and was informed that it would be rectified (not once did he ask if she was okay nor apologize). A few weeks went by and nothing so I called back and spoke to another manager, Brian. He asked if everything was okay and again informed he needed to research and would rectify the situation but once again nothing. They don't seem to care that this could have been a lot worse had she swallowed it. It's unsanitary, unsafe and unfortunate that her food was contaminated with a sharp medal like object that resembles a nose ring of some sort. Really disappointed in Yard House managers for their lack of compassion and empathy towards the situation! This place is usually crowded and often has long wait times but not always! First time here and was very pleased. Had a couple appetizers and an entree and was pleasantly surprised everything was very tasty. I'm not into brussel sprouts but theirs I would order again, they was that good. The lettuce chicken wrap was very taste as well, loved the two sauces that come with it, really helped take it over the top. The Maui chicken with pineapple was extremely tender and moist. First of all, there was no wait! If you are in Santana Row, it's a 2 hr wait and they don't take reservations. We ordered some Asian inspired dishes - Korean tacos, Cali crab stack. You can't come to a brewery and not order beer ;) loves the local IPAs. My family members ordered a variety of other dishes and we shared two appetizers: spinach dip with crunchy tortilla chips & firecracker shrimp with fried rice cakes. The latter was an interesting one, but the spinach dip was awesome!!!They both were good!!!! I dived into my club sandwich and ate almost all of it, the onion rings were not what I expected. My sister uncle and I had happy hour the other day here at Yard House. I've never been here before so I was excited to try them out. We walk in and are greeted by the staff we were immediately seated brought water while we looked at the menu. The amount of happy hour offering are bountiful so we ordered many to share. We ordered chicken nachos, chicken tenders with sweet potato fries , calamari, 4 cheese spinach dip, blackened Ahi tuna, cheese curds and classic sliders with onion rings and pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed truly enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, spinach dip, Calamari and the blackened Ahi tuna. The cheese curds were okay and the classic sliders were overcooked and dry. The sweet potato fries were overcooked and unpleasant. I didn't try the chicken tenders nor did I try the nacho fries as I was full. For drinks I ordered the 9oz Pinot Nior and the 9oz Moscato. My sister ordered the classic Mojito and my Uncle ordered the house flight. The inside isn't really anything special just the basic restaurant look with plenty of table to dine in and enjoy your meal. (for Lucas) I came in with my girlfriend and ordered a skinny margarita. The waitress brought one out, but it was missing the triple sec and still had sweet-and-sour mix in it. On top of that, there were things floating in the drink. She replaced it, but the second one came back with no ice and was still sweet. At that point, I walked over to the bar and had Lucas make it. Lucas actually made me a real skinny margarita with fresh lime juice, liquor, and a touch of Tajín. He was personable, professional, and really turned the experience around. I spoke with the general manager about my frustration--because honestly, when you order something specific and it's made completely wrong multiple times, it feels careless. To me, it's like telling someone you're allergic to peanuts and then being handed peanuts anyway. The GM comped our meal (we had two orders of wings and four drinks), which I appreciated, but the real highlight was Lucas. He's new, but his customer service is the reason I'd consider coming back to Yard House despite issues I've had here in the past. The Veranda in Concord has come a long way from being an original office park for Chevron. It used to house the Finance and IT groups along with a nifty gym in the basement. Now it's a bustling strip mall with upscale restaurants, shops, groceries, theater, and more. We came to Yard House for a family lunch since they had a diverse menu. I don't drink beer much these days but am always up for good comfort food. The two entree we ordered were superb: Thai Grilled Pork Chop was perfectly cooked and super juicy. One of the best chops we've had in a long time. The wife loved this dish. Pork is so easy to overcook and get bland but the Yard House version nailed it. Similarly, Whiskey Glazed salmon was melt-in-your mouth soft and packed with flavor. I even gave our 4-yo a taste. The ethanol hopefully evaporated during cooking, LOL. The Child Grilled Chicken entree was also good - healthy and slightly on the dry side. It's best to have sauce on the side I think. Definitely planning on coming back when in the area. The food was good, the fish and chips weren't super flavorful but weren't bad. We joined the waitlist online on the drive over. The waitlist said 15-25 minutes when we joined. We arrived and checked in, they said it was would be a 15-25 minute wait. I told them I had checked in online 20 minutes ago and it had said that back then when I checked in. The hostess said "sometimes online isn't accurate" okay. Kind of irritating but we waited. Finally we got a table about 15 minutes later. Ordered our drinks and food. My favorite salad Ever! The kale & romaine ceasar salad with salmon is absolutely amazing. Due to dietary restrictions I had to remove the tomatoes and croutons but it's still delicious. We took full advantage of happy hour, so we ordered the ahi poke nachos, spinach artichoke dip, and pizza. The ahi poke nachos are always good. I wish there was more ahi poke to enjoy. That's the only thing lacking for that. The spinach artichoke dip was okay. The chips weren't too great, and the dip came lukewarm. The pizza was pretty good. Perfect sweetness and not too strong on alcohol. Smoked Old Fashion You can definitely taste the smoke. Not overbearingly strong. Brussels Sprouts (5/5) Super crispy and flavorful with an Asian zing! Cheese Curds (4/5) These are really good when they're hot, nice and gooey, served with a sweet & sour and some type of blue cheese Ranch dip. Gets pretty greasy when cooled down Calamari (5/5) Nice crispy rings served with marinara Chicken Lettuce Wraps (5/5!!!) This was my favorite appetizer. Super flavorful, Smokey, asian chicken with crispy wonton and butter lettuce. Must order! Poke Nachos (4/5) The wonton chips stayed super crispy even though it was drowned in sauce! The tuna was okay, not really comparable to poke. Spinach Dip (4/5) This dish was good but not great. Very heavy on the spinach, could've been more cheesier. Carnivore Pizza (4/5) The portion on their pizza is great especially for half off! Very meaty, plenty of toppings. I am a music video fiend so I adored that they had videos playing above the bar. Of course, the draw is their big variety of beers and the special beer glasses that they are served in. I was a little worried that I would clumsily topple those tall thin glasses over so I stuck to a martini. Also, there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Yard House is always a happening place and this one was no different. Been to a few in different places and the consistency is good. The atmosphere is great. Got seated very quickly for a large party of 9. The food was as expected and none of the kids complained. Had a great time. It gets the extra star though for securing my wife's purse. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of TVs for watching sports, and the staff was friendly and helpful. This couldn't be possible if it weren't for such great service of Brian..I believe he was one of the managers there that worked that day! Been to many yard houses, but this was my first time coming to the Concord one. It is fairly new with this plaza being built recently. The space is massive, and I like the layout since it allows you to move around freely from your table to the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always had eyes on our drinks and bringing us refills and always asking if we needed anything else. I typically order a burger and truffle fries. I went with the Jambalaya this time, and it was incredible. It was rich and full of a variety of proteins. It is my new favorite dish on the menu. The poke nachos were the best dish of the night. The fish was fresh and scattered throughout the plate, the chips were crunchy and had the perfect amount of umami sauce spread on top. The jalapeños added a little bit of spice to the dish. Everyone ate this appetizer so quickly! It was definitely a favorite Margherita pizza: I loved the thin crust and could easily be shared among your party. Personally, the tomato cuts were too big for me but otherwise, I would get this appetizer again. Onion tower: I thought the onion rings were okay. The flavor was there but I didn't really get the crunch I was looking for. The onion rings were a little on the softer side but I love the creativity of serving them in a tower. Fish and chips were sooo disappointing. They came out huge but taking a bite revealed that it was mostly breading and there was barely any fish! It was also lacking in flavor and seemed unnecessarily greasy. Mac & cheese: suprisingly one of the better dishes of the night. I didn't expect mac and cheese with shitake mushrooms to be so good. The dish as a whole was a little on the dry side but flavor-wise, pretty good. If you're someone who likes mushrooms and mac and cheese, give this a shot! Burgers: Cooked great and it tasted like it came fresh off a grill. Each bite was juicy and it was put together well. The fries that came with some of the dishes were typical, nothing special, but I loved the basket they served them in. Malibu peach: Perfect choice for me as I'm someone who likes sweeter drinks but it was a tad bit strong. Pineapple express: Another great drink choice if you don't like tasting the alcohol in your drinks and it had the perfect mix of pineapple flavor Not really a fan of beer but it's very impressive how many options they had. Very busy place at times it does very well good company fun atmosphere. The food is just really really good. The ambience I mentioned is good. People are fun even waiting at the door is OK.
