Pad See Eew

What went well? Everything! What a wonderful find on a spontaneous Black Friday day trip! We ate mid-afternoon outside. It was a perfect, cool day. The server Emma was lovely and provided excellent insight about the food for us. We had vermicelli summer rolls as an appetizer, which were so fresh and the peanut sauce tasty. As entrees, we had the Larb salad with ground chicken. A bit spicy and so delicious. The Pad See Eew (substituting with gluten free sauce) with shrimp and tofu was the best we ever had. Incredibly flavorful and ingredients were fresh. We will definitely visit again!!

Tried this restaurant twice in the last week and a half because I've been looking for a good Thai food restaurant since moving here. Glad I found this place!! The service is excellent and the decor was really nice but the food was amazing!! My go to for Thai Restaurants is Som Tam (papaya salad) but here they call it Malakor salad. Very tasty and refreshing! Next we ordered the fried spring rolls and loved them. Entrees included Beef Pad Thai, chicken pad kra poa, chicken Thai pad cha and one Alaska sushi roll! All were so delicious and fresh tasting! The best we've ever had!!! Portions were perfect and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend coming here for Thai food!!

This is my second time here was so impressed the first time that I broke the wifey back here for lunch. This is such a come and cool place to share a meal with excellent service compliments of Siri who was our server! We went with the Edamame fried rolls as an appetizer, the Larb chicken salad, and the Pork Pad Thai. Once again, I have to reiterate that this is probably one of the most authentic Thai places I have eaten at . We will definitely be back and fellow YELPERS I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner as the food service and atmosphere is outstanding!

Larb- the perfect light appetizer

Top dining experience in a while. These guys know authentic Thai cuisine. The delicate notes of mint and cilantro balanced with fish sauce and acidity was remarkable. Summer rolls knocked our socks off. Service- top of the line and attentive but certainly not intrusive. The crispy duck took our breath away. Our server made several "on point" recommendations that did NOT disappoint including the sticky mango dessert that was light and delicate to round out a fantastic meal. We can't wait to go back!

Beef Pad Thai Boba matcha tea

This is some of the best Thai food I have found in Florida ! The servers are so kind & sweet & just make coming here a delight. I always have the same thing cause unfortunately I am a creature of habit & the beef Pad Thai is always mouth watering. With a refreshing iced boba matcha

Gyoza ate two before I took picture was so good and fresh!

The food was so good will definitely be going back. got the panang curry which came a little spicy like medium level so definitely get if you like a little spice. The red dragon roll and Gyoza were so good also and the presentation looked beautiful!

Fresh Summer Roll

First time visiting this restaurant and unfortunately, probably our last. We came in for lunch and immediately noticed the cutely decorated space was completely empty of customers. Idk if this should have been a sign but we sat down anyways. It took a good 5-8 minutes before someone came to take our drink orders. The staff is nice but inattentive, we had to repeatedly flag them down for service. We ordered the summer rolls to start, they were pretty good. We also ordered the Crying Tiger Salad and the Crispy Pork Pad Thai special. I have to say, we really liked the Pad Thai and it was a huge portion for $30. I was excited to try the Crying Tiger Salad, this is a go to at a lot of Thai places but I was highly disappointed especially for the price. What is typically a salad of complex flavors with soy, lime, coconut sugar, fish and oyster sauces, onion, cilantro, mint, etc. topped with marinated tender beef at other Thai restaurants, is a boring plate of bland lettuce, halved tomatoes, a beautiful (useless) carrot butterfly and unmarinated beef here. The only reason for crying was out of disappointment that none of the typically crying tiger flavors were present, it was literally just an American steak salad without dressing and a side of spicy chili paste. I will say, the steak was cooked perfectly so I ended up adding it to my husband's pad Thai and trashing the "salad". They also had mango sticky rice on the menu which was the entire reason for our visit but they were "out of mangoes", so there's that. The other disappointment in this all, is that this was a two hour lunch and not because we were chit chatting so much. The kitchen is incredibly slow in producing food, especially for only one table in the entire place. Even our server was sitting at a booth hanging out since it was so slow so we're not sure what the delay was for. Overall, we gave 3 stars because the food was decent and the space was clean and nicely decorated.

Loved this place! Wish I had written the review sooner as I forget what I had! I do remember though that I kept telling my friend that it was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy. We got some bob for dessert. I got Mango and it very well may be the best I have ever had. I will definitely go back! Anxious to take my husband!

Gluten free drunken noodle

Lots of good here, but also a number of items to improve! 1) woman on the phone was super helpful and customer service was great. She took a moment to confirm what I needed and was kind enough to- this goes a long way with me 2) they were able to accommodate my gluten free needs - Nice! 3) however it seems that they omitted soy sauce and any spice to adjust to the needs. Ingredients were great quality but it had zero spice or soy sauce flavor that it required. I had to add my own gluten free soy sauce and chili flakes and it tasted a lot better - I would recommend finding a gluten free sauce that can be added rather than excluding it all. I would also suggest that they add spice, as it was very lacking. Overall great service and good food quality, but needs some adjustment for gluten free accommodations.

Green curry, yaki soba noodles, spring rolls and rice

Ordered take out and it was so good! We tried the green curry, yaki soba and spring rolls. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Def will order again!!

Chicken Pad Thai
Monica F.

The food was really good. Great presentation and the portions were very large. So large that I got two other meals out of my chicken Pad Thai. We had a shrimp roll appetizer that was wonderfully refreshing with mint leaves inside and a yummy sauce to dip into. The service was very slow - we got there at 7ish for dinner. The couple next to us said that they came in earlier and practically no one was there so theirs was speedier. The new decor is a bit dark for my taste. The darkness of the floor and some of the walls paired with low lighting make the atmosphere a bit gloomy. But the food is worth it so I'll be back.

Sue, the owner, is truly a ray of sunshine--so warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. It's always great seeing her! They recently moved to their new location in Jupiter, and while the space is a little smaller, it's fresh, clean, bright, and has that brand-new feel. We were a party of four tonight and started with a few different soups--the egg drop, hot and sour, and wonton/egg drop combination. Everything was delicious and a great way to start the meal. The food here is consistently exceptional. My favorite is the walnut shrimp, so of course I had to order it again tonight! My husband had the special egg foo young, while our guests ordered the Szechuan shrimp and sesame chicken. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and served in very generous portions. We're so happy to see Golden Pavilion in their new location and wish Sue and her team lots of success. They deserve it! Thank you, Sue, for always making us feel so welcome. It was great seeing you again, and we'll definitely be back!

My family and I come here often for dim sum and celebrate Lunar New Year here every year. The service is always warm and attentive, especially from Sue, and we always leave happy, completely stuffed, and usually carrying leftovers. Their menu is extensive, and I have yet to order anything I didn't enjoy. My dim sum favorites include the sticky rice with lotus leaves, chicken wings, siu mai, preserved egg and congee, steamed dumplings, fried shrimp balls, sesame balls, and pan fried turnip. You really can't go wrong with anything on the dim sum menu. Everything is made fresh, arrives hot, and is consistently delicious. For Lunar New Year, we order the whole steamed fish with scallions and ginger. It is perfectly cooked every time, flaky, moist, and full of flavor. We also love the roast chicken and duck, General Tso's chicken, and the pan fried seafood noodles loaded with scallops, shrimp, and calamari. Even the fried rice is a standout. This year, we placed an order ahead for the whole lobster and devoured it. I've heard they may be relocating when Whole Foods moves into the plaza, so be sure to stop in soon or follow them for updates. This place is truly a gem worth supporting.

From the first bite to the last, everything I ordered was absolutely phenomenal! I originally intended to enjoy a simple meal, but the food was so incredibly delicious that I ended up spending approximately $60 just on myself! Not because the restaurant was overpriced, but because everything looked and tasted so amazing that I simply couldn't resist trying more of the menu. And I can confidently say it was worth every penny! The bubble milk tea was superb, perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The tapioca pearls were prepared to perfection, with just the right texture and consistency. It was easily one of the highlights of my visit. I also enjoyed the dumplings, pork-filled buns, and beef noodles. Each dish delivered incredible flavor, excellent preparation, and a satisfying experience. The quality was evident in every bite, and the portions were generous enough that I had plenty to take back to my hotel. What impressed me even further was how delicious everything remained after reheating my leftovers later that evening. The flavors and overall quality held up beautifully, which speaks volumes about the care that goes into preparing the food. The variety of menu selections makes this an excellent place for anyone who enjoys exploring different dishes and experiencing authentic Asian cuisine. I would absolutely recommend Serious Sanji to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent bubble tea, and an outstanding overall dining experience. Come hungry, because you may find yourself wanting to try just about everything on the menu! An easy five stars! Worth every penny, and I would absolutely return!

This. All of this. This is what a Chinese restaurant…read moreshould be. Great food at decent prices, friendly servers, and no contrived fluff over getting some hipster deconstructed curry kabob blah blah blah. Our food (and we tried quite a few things) was fresh, hot, and delicious. Not one person who worked there passed by us without asking how we were or if we needed anything. Our only minor nitpick would combo dinners getting veggie fried rice instead of pork but even that was good.

Yes they were that good and the tangy soy sauce that pairs with it enticed the hell out of my taste buds. I wasn't sure if I had already tried the beef in hot garlic sauce but I ordered it anyway. I chose a non- spicy choice but it definitely would probably be more flavorful with more spice. I loved that it came with veggies - bamboo shoots, carrots and my favorite...mushrooms! The house pan fried noodles were certainly interesting as the crispy egg noodles were in a separate container from the shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork and vegetables. Once you added the protein, veggies and gravy the noodles start to soften up. Loved that it came with more mushrooms but wished it had more taste. Overall I will definitely be getting those pork dumplings again but I may just stick to my old faithful house fried rice and orange beef until I'll feeling adventurous again.

Disappointing Customer Service - We Won't Be Returning…read more We stopped in for lunch and ordered several appetizers and the beef stew soup. While the other dishes were delicious, the soup was extremely disappointing. The menu picture clearly showed pieces of beef, but what arrived was mostly ligaments, tendons, and jelly-like substances, with only two recognizable pieces of meat. After drinking approximately three ounces of broth, we politely asked to return it because we don't eat those textures. The manager refused, explaining that "beef stew" meant ligaments and tendons. We kindly explained that the dish was misleading and that we didn't feel we should pay for something we barely touched. We also explained that insisting on the charge would unfortunately affect the gratuity, despite the waitress not being responsible. The manager chose to charge us anyway. We've dined here twice before and would have continued returning. I don't cook, so my family and I eat out frequently. Losing loyal, repeat customers over one bowl of soup is simply poor business judgment. Good food means very little when customer service is this disappointing. Unfortunately, this restaurant is now permanently off our list.

I had heard great things about it and hadn't gotten the chance to go until recently. This is mostly because they're located in Windermere, which is a bit aways from most of Orlando. It was chosen as the dinner location for a work dinner for Asian American Heritage Month. May might be over, but Asian food is forever. It's in a very cute location with shops around and ample of parking. They had tables set aside for us and they have a full menu as well as the dim sum menu, which you mark how many of an item you want. Family style dining as is most Asian dining. The interior is super nice and it does feel upscale. They have large tables and some smaller ones but it's not a huge restaurant space. This means the meals feel very cozy and intimate. We got the squid ink shrimp dumplings and regular shrimp dumplings. They were both a 9/10. I will say that squid ink anything does not add to the flavor, just the color of the food. Squid ink is slightly more expensive. The shumai was a 9/10. By the way the dumplings were huge and about 4 pieces per order. We tried the curry fish balls, which essentially is fish balls like the ones you get at hot pot cooked in a yellow curry. It was my first time trying this and I thought it was just ok. This was a 5.5/10. Some ordered beef and broccoli for the table and it was delicious. Definitely a large dish to be shared. That was an 8.5/10. We tried their wonton soup which came with noodles and bok chop. This was an 8/10. The fried shrimp balls were excellent and is a 9/10 for me. Normally, I think they are either too savory or oily. However, these ones had great crips and really well balanced flavor. We tried my favorite dim sum dish, which is the rice rolls with shrimp. This was a 6/10 for me. It just wasn't my favorite one that I have had. We also tried the mango custard bun, which was a 8/10. Overall, I would give them a 8/10. It is a little on the more pensive end for dim sum but the atmosphere is nice and service is pretty good. I love dumplings. I could eat dumplings any day, all day. It truly is one of those things I would have as a part of my last meal on Earth.
