The other 2 dishes had seafood in them (one was happy family ) and the seafood was overcooked-- The shrimp disintegrated in my mouth and the lobster was gummy. I'm used to Chinese take out from NH and things are a bit different down here. First their pork fried rice is delicious. My only critique would be great if they could make the rice a bit darker. Other than that, the flavor and textures are a hit. My fav is beef and broccoli, the beef is not tangled in a bunch of fat or stringy like I've experienced elsewhere. The sauce is thick and savory, the broccoli is fresh and snappy. Egg rolls with pork has great taste, not greasy, flavorful, add a smidgen of sweet/sour sauce and it's off and running. I did not take pictures because we were so hungry but I'll take you through our order which was enough for 3 people, 2 meals each for $45. It was so cheap we thought we would try a lot of things in hopes one would taste good. To our surprise they were all solid! General tsos-- crispy, tangy, real chicken pieces. Beef lo mein-- pretty standard, not greasy, nice side. Hot and sour soup-- probably the best I've ever had. Very spicy, tangy, full of veggies, and they give you those crispy things to put on top! Schezuan veggies-- broccoli, snow peas, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, onions, peppers...all fresh in a lot of sauce although not spicy. Chicken fried rice-- not crispy but solid side. Garlic broccoli combo-- perfect meal. Mostly broccoli but also some other veggies in a garlic sauce. Side of pork fried rice and an egg roll for $9. Great deal. Egg roll was big and crispy. Very Disappointed in the food and service . We stopped in after shopping and placed 3 dinner combos to go. I have eaten Moo Goo Gi pan from many restaurants, most recently from Hot Wok. It's not hard to make- chicken, some veggies, with a white sauce made from corn starch and chicken broth served over rice. I have noticed that the last few time there have been a lot of mushrooms-each time proportionately more. Tonight was the last time I'll be eating it because it was half mushrooms. Mushy mushrooms. The sauce was brown and tasted sweet. The chicken was hard/dry and not at all cooked properly. I'm terribly disappointed that the food has gotten worse. Don't intend to eat there again. read more
