She didn't like that we were planning to sit in the restaurant even though there were tables and chairs. The food was literally dropped in to-go boxes on our table. Most of the dishes are pretty Americanized, but for what they are, they taste pretty good. It seems to cater to a lot of families and seniors, the 3 times I've been there. Casual ambience and clean, both the dining room and bathrooms. The sauces in general lean towards the sweet side, and the spicy dishes are very mild. You can, however, customize dishes if you order an entree instead of getting the buffet. A lot of the chicken dishes are heavily breaded, but if you request the all- white meat option, it has a much lighter coating (maybe only dusted with cornstarch?) so I often customize that way. A couple dishes come that way already, like the Mongolian chicken and a few others. You can ask which. They really shine with their friendliness and customer service. I give them 5 stars for service, 3.5 for food so averages to 4 stars overall.

We looked for a place to scratch my Chinese buffet itch [had a chance for solo trip while she shopped...closed]. It would do us no good to wait until we got home. The Asian cuisine scene is a bit marginal in and around the town we retired to. This one had good ratings, and an interestingly simple name. That's a story for another time as well. It is a small place, it was clean, the owners were engaging. The food is average. While there seems to be a broad variety of offers it is mostly chicken and imitation crab. The taste is a bit lost in the same general taste profile, salt and sweet. This is a good average place to go for a buffet lunch at a reasonable price. It is popular with the locals.

And as to the comments about learning to speak "American", you obviously haven't a clue as to just how difficult the English language can be for native speakers and second language speakers. Heck, listen to some of us around here and it's like a foreign language. Man up! These are hardworking, American citizens; some of our fellow patriots ought to take a lesson in THAT.
