What they call "cashew chicken" is tragically bad. That being said, anytime I come back to West Plains, I literally cannot wait to get Cashew Chicken at Diamond Head. And not only is the food good enough to pine over more than 500 miles away, but when visiting tonight, Shauna, who has served me more times than I can even attempt to recall, remembered us, our drink choices, and to bring chop sticks without being asked even though we haven't eaten there for over 2 years. Hidden Gem in North Central Arkansas!…read more Was not expecting to find Thai food this good tucked away up here -- but wow, what a surprise win! We kicked things off with the fresh rolls, and let me just say... the peanut sauce? ON. POINT. Creamy, nutty perfection that I may or may not have considered drinking with a straw. Then came the spicy noodles with chicken -- and y'all, it's that perfect level of heat that hits, lingers just enough, and somehow makes you crave another bite. But the real showstopper? The green curry. Absolute flavor bomb. Coconut and curry in perfect harmony -- rich but not heavy, spicy but smooth. I legit paused mid-bite to say, "Wait, this is really good." And it just kept getting better. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and didn't break the bank. Super reasonable prices for food that easily rivals bigger-city Thai spots. If you're in the area, don't sleep on this place. It's a spicy little surprise and I'm already planning my return trip!
