I haven't been to a buffet for awhile. I am impressed with this restaurant. It has myriad of foods to choose from and piping hot too. They have a full bar inside. The dining is of considerable size. I saw groups and groups of patrons dining in and incoming. The food must be good. I admit I was not disappointed. With the lunch price, it is not bad. They even served Tri - Tip. I haven't even tried all the food especially the dessert and I was full to my throat. Our server, kept on checking on us and making sure we weren't neglected. I would definitely come back. Facilities are clean, stocked and have adequate stalls. Parking is free and plenty of them.

This is a buffet restaurant. The choices are many. Quality is what you'd expect. Some is OK other stuff on the steam table to long. Service was good.

Best Chinese buffet in Edmonton. Easily the best Chinese buffet in town, food is always fresh, lots of western Chinese food & authentic Chinese items like char siu, dim sum, wonton soup. Great variety of desserts like ice cream, egg tart, sesame balls, cookies and ect. The dim sum station that has everything from siu mai to chicken feet, sticky rice & black bean steamed ribs, bbq pork buns etc.

I haven't been to a buffet in ages but this one hit the spot! Speaking of spot...it's in a totally sketch area and definitely makes you question the location...but once your inside it's huge and clean. I must say the quality and variety of the food at the buffet was well worth it and went above my buffet level expectations. The trays I saw being re-filled quite often. The food variety was impressive, maybe because it was a Sunday but there was breakfast items- bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs; Chinese cuisine- chow mein, gylan, broccoli, pork ginger beef, spring rolls; Dim Sum- steamed buns, shrimp balls; Western dinner- prime rib; dessert bar and fresh fruit bar; and my personal favourite a Sushi Bar! Plus a large selection of at least 6 different ice creams. Cookies, coconut and mango jelly, jello, squares. I'm pretty sure I saw a salad bar too. For a buffet in Edmonton this one has me wanting to come back again for sure! One of the ladies bathrooms even has a change table so that was super appreciated.

I would say this is the best Chinese buffet in the city. It has a great selection of soups including wonton and hot and sour, authentic Chinese dishes like garlic green beans, stir-fried meat and vegetables, bbq pork, seafood of some kind like shrimp, clams and mussels, dim sum, even bbq pork and cocktail buns! A few kinds of sushi, salad bar and desserts like mango pudding, red bean soup and tapioca . There's also lots of choices for non-Asians who may not be as adventurous, such as chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, dry ribs, chicken wings, jello and ice cream to name a few. This restaurant is attached to a Travelodge which looks like it needs an update in decor. There's parking on both sides of the building and is located along 118 Ave. so it's accessible by transit. The restaurant is big and can accommodate large parties. I've bumped into someone I know every time I've eaten here! I would recommend reservations. I've been here for lunch and dinner, the price is higher for dinner but we noticed they have crab legs and roast beef in the evening. We paid $20.99 for lunch and seniors are $2 off. The taste of everything is good considering it's a buffet. They do have hot sauce, soy sauce, sweet and sour, etc. available to help yourself. This place is definitely recommended if you are wanting a variety of Chinese food!

A huge portion of sesame chicken, chow mein, and veggies... for only $15

*Skip the Dishes Review* This place is not bad at all. I was expecting it to be terrible when my mom suggested "Chinese from the old Beverly Crest." If you factor that it's in a sketchy dive area of town (and therefore you'd expect the worst), and that you're getting a huge amount of decent food for $15 it's pretty darn good. Two people could easily eat the "dinner for one" and be satisfied. Honestly, it resembles your typical food court Chinese which hits the spot just fine sometimes. The chow mein was delicious. Everything was flavoured nicely... and I can't say this enough, I'm blown away by the portions. I will be eating this for lunch tomorrow. I ate less than half. My ooooonly critique is that the chicken was inconsistently cooked. Some was crispy to the point of tough to chew (over-fried?) and some was mushy / soggy. But overall.... very good. Not enough to say don't order it, because I'm just picky about texture. Not a complaint from the other 4 eating it. I initially made this a 3 but as I thought about it, as I wrote... it's really more like a 3.5... and the excellent value rounds it up to a 4. Give it a shot if you want some cheap satisfying eats.

With my Player's Club card, I get coupons including a 2 for 1 Buffet one, which makes it $20 for dinner for 2 which is a pretty good value. The breakfast and lunch prices are $10 and $15 respectively. There have theme nights, Tuesday is Mediterranean, Wednesday is Indian, and Thursday is Asian. You pay when you arrive so you can't check our the fare first. They also ask for a tip but we didn't tip at that time as we didn't receive any service yet! We went on a Tuesday and the upper seating area was about half full. They also have seating in lower area accessible by stairs but they closed off that section while we were there. The booths are roomy and comfortable. The buffet itself is small. There are 3 rows with the first having 2 soups, 5 different salads but were on small plates, rolls, and condiments and cutlery. The middle row had the hot foods and that night it included rice, roast potatoes, green beans, other vegetables, beef souvlaki, roast chicken, pita and various dips including hummus, gravy, spanikopita, and a person there to cut you slices of roast lamb. The third row had an ice cream machine and toppings, fresh cantaloupe and honeydew melon, pre made mini cupcakes, a few different squares, baklava, and a peach crumble. They also have self serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and one of those soda machines that you select many different kinds of flavoured pop. The lamb was the star of the show, it was tender and not too gamy tasting. The beef was dry and hard and chicken was cooked well but not very flavourful. Couldn't really go wrong with the green beans, spanikopita, and potatoes. For dessert, the peach dessert was so bad I had to spit it all out as the peaches were so sour as they were the canned type. I went back for a piece of baklava and it was stuck on the plate. I wiggled a piece free and since it was so big, I wasn't able to finish it. It was pretty cold as they probably took it out of the freezer a few hours earlier but still good. The service to start with was awful and based on that, I would have given this 2 stars. There was a woman walking around and taking away plates and acknowledging other tables but not ours. When I did have a dirty plate, she removed it but not the cup. The woman who came by after her was nice and efficient. The first woman was terrible and I don't see her lasting long. The food was just alright and the price good with the 2 for 1 coupon.

The meats are served buffet style and you grab your own drinks from the soda fountain. Sides of lettuce, salad (my personal fave- amazing vinaigrette to cut the meat), kimchi, bean sprouts, etc. There were also a few variety of fried items. My favorite was the shrimp chips. They also have fried rice but no white rice. Which leads me to my next point-- Service: AMAZING!! One of the older ladies saw my boyfriend and I mixing our fried rice and kimchi to make kimchi fried rice. She asked if we wanted some sesame oil and seaweed to put into our fried rice to make it more bokkeum-bap!! She came back with a bottle of sesame oil and mixed it in for us. The only downsides: They put a piece of parchment paper over the grill which kind of absorbs all the juice. The selection of meat is very limited as well. For 2 people not including our alcohol, it came to about $75 for AYCE. Not too bad considering it's the only other kbbq place in town. Will definitely be regulars!

Who doesn't like roast beef, shrimp and a chocolate fountain? The advertisements in the lobby looked good (see photo) and at $32 a head it's not an unfair price. Unfortunately just like the food at the Lion Head's pub, this Sunday Brunch was a poor experience where nothing was quite right. With one of the largest selections of choices at the buffet this brunch looks great on paper but unfortunately it's just not there for quality. Starting from the top 1. The Carving station is dry and they will not cut you any piece except from the end. When you leave a piece of meat under a heat lamp, it's going to get dry. When I left he was still serving off the same piece of dried meat. People coming in later were still getting the same piece of meat that was served for 2hrs. 2. The Eggs Benedict speaks for itself(look at the photos). Who leaves Eggs Benny's in a warming tray with sauce on? Gross. 3.There were 3 hot mashed mashed potato tureens. THREE! Who needs 3 choices of mashed potatoes. The problem was , none of them were good. Gluey, as you can imagine from having sat there for hours . 4. The Omelette station looks great, and we tried it and noticed immediately these were not fresh eggs. I asked the cook and she said, they use liquid egg unless you specifically ask for fresh egg. The biggest problem with the ATRIUM is that it survives off of the teams and hotel guests that stay there. It doesn't really have to try hard to do ok. If you live in the city skip this over priced version of a Buffet Royale. I'm giving it 2.5 stars. Why did it get 2 stars? Nothing stood out, not one piece of food Why did it not get 1 stars?
