I found this restaurant after a quick search of hot pot options in Edmonton and decided to give this restaurant a visit. We showed up at 8 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was still very busy. It is a good sign that this restaurant is popular. We were seated right away and our 2 hour time limit started. We placed an order of soup based and meat options before heading out to the sauce bar and checking out other items at the buffet. The food selection was quite impressive from the meat balls, cooked food, innards, veggies, seafood, noodles to desserts. It was hard to decide what to eat. The sauce bar was also quite extensive there are endless combinations. Service was surprisingly decent for an Asian restaurant. Staff stopped by regular to clear dirty plates and refill soup broth. They even dropped off extra plates of beef slices and wontons when we asked. Overall, I thought the price was reasonable for the food selection and the service exceeded my expectations for a buffet setting. Parking was alright. I would return to this restaurant on my next visit in town.

Bone mix soup broth, chicken, beef tenderloin, scallops, pork dumpling, pork, and our plates of the mixings

Bone mix soup broth Plus our plates of our extras. Which include, shrimp, mussels , quail eggs, noodles, so many variations of mushrooms, all the veggies, bokchoy. They also had special fried rice and chicken wings, egg rolls, etc. You cook your own food and make your own sauce. They also have dessert. Lots of variety - they had 3 different kinds of jelly and 2 different kinds of cake with mousse, lots of ice cream flavours. the matcha ice-cream was delish. The buffet is what we had, it's $35/person. It's the bomb.com! We will definitely be back!! The service was good, the aesthetic is so nice. What a cool experience!

A little challenging to find even with Google Maps. Has a large parking lot though. We arrived at 5:30 on a Sunday and restaurant was only 60% full. I would have loved to be closer to the buffet so I didn't have to walk too far and past so many people to refill. The broth choices were unique and very tame so you could season it yourself with the sauces buffet. Sauce buffet included sesame paste, soya sauce, XO sauce, sesame seeds, peanut sauce, oils, pepper, salt, and a dozen more. Food buffet included vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash, leafy greens), starch (noodles, lotus root, potato, etc) meat balls (fish, beef, pork, shrimp), raw seafood (shrimp, oyster, fish). As well they had ready to eat items - Chinese donut, bun, spring roll, dry rib. Shaved meats were ordered off the menu (but included in buffet price) all the meats were fantastic, but I did find the pork too fatty. Desserts included ice cream, mango jelly, coconut jelly, orange slices, melon slices, 3 cakes (chocolate, orange, tiramisu). Staff came to refill our pots with hot water midmeal and refill our water glasses so we never ran out. Would have been nice if they explained it to us when we arrived as it had been a while since we have been and first time for my mother. Bathroom was clean and spacious. They had sanitizer at the front door and at the spice buffet but I would have liked one on the table or just more in general as the serving tongs (buffet is self-serve) were touched by everyone. $34/person which is enough but well worth the price if you're celebrating or just for the experience.

This is one of my top favourite hot pot places in Edmonton. It is more pricey but you get a significantly larger selection of items to choose from compared to other hot pot places. For my most recent visit for dinner, I called a week in advance to make a reservation for 11 people. I even called a second time to confirm. However when we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation. This was very disappointing since we had a large group and didn't want to scramble to find another restaurant to fit our group. It turns out they record their reservations by hand on this notebook. The page had markings everywhere and looked very disorganized. Luckily there was another group that was double booked at that time so we took their table after waiting 10 minutes. Food here is delicious though! You have a choice of having your own individual pot or sharing a huge pot in the center. To order the main meat, you will have to fill a form to choose how much you want. All the other items are buffet style so you can take as much veggies, seafood, fish balls, dessert, noodles etc. as your heart desires. They also have a large variety of sauces to choose from. The inside of the place is clean and modern. They also charge an automatic 15% gratuity for large group reservations. You will not be disappointed with the food if you come here.

OMG! I have found my new favourite place for Hot Pot. I was blown away at the amount of selection of different veggies, proteins, and noodles that were available to try! All we had to do was order our broth at the table, (we also opted for a few extra proteins, but that was before we went up to the buffet part) and everything else was self serve. The broths are incredibly flavourful and it was so convenient to get to cook everything right at the table. Our waiter was also quick to come around with drink refills and to top up our broth. They also have some private larger rooms available for large group bookings. I will absolutely be coming back here very soon!

This place is pretty fire. It's November 16th, 2018 and the weather is extremely crappy. There is snow mixed with rain which makes being a daily commuter miserable. What better way to turn that frown upside down with some hot pot. Shoutout to my fellow Yelper Matt V. For introducing this place to me. Chinese Hot Pot is located on Calgary trail near... nothing really. It's just off to the side of the road. You have to hit the access point just right or you'll find yourself flipping a shitty to get all the way back. But if you do miss it, you probably won't be disappointed as you'll end up at Tony Roma's. From the outside, this restaurant isn't anything special. But from the inside. It's absolutely decked out. Very fancy lighting fixtures, feature walls and the raised ceiling heights make the space feel bigger. Let's get one thing straight, this ain't your average hotpot where you sit down and get served mystery meat only to realize serval hours later that you have food poisoning. This is a full on buffet. Once seated, we got to choose our own individual pot-broths and away we go. The only thing you have to order is your meats. After that, all of the extra dumplings and noodles and such we're available at the buffet. This place has an extensive buffet. Everything you're looking for. Shrimp balls, udon noodles and spicy marinated pigs ear.... yum-- don't hate unless you try. All in all this place is dope. Go check it out but don't forget your wallet cause it's damn pricey. Our collective bill came out to $80 plus GST and tip. 4/5 stars cause it makes your clothes smell like you've been sleeping in the basement of TNT Supermarket. "Shoutout to TNT Supermarket"

I hated paying money to cook my own food. What was the point? But when a lunch deal of $15 gives you a large helping of meat and good quality broth. It's hard to say no. Chinese Hot Pot Buffet has got the selection you crave. There's over 80 menu items that you can pick 5 from and one type of broth. Usually get the Hand-Pulled Noodles and try and get the spiciest broth. For meat I get a couple beef, and one seafood. The quality of the beef here is really good and when dipped into your personalized sauce, it's even better. They also offer a $32 dinner buffet for those who are really hungry but the lunch special is as much as I could handle. Service was pretty fast considering the large party we had and they were pretty quick with the water service. Aesthetically this place is clean and nice inside, however the outside looks like a highway restroom in a national park. Dark and unkept wood. Pretty drab but the food quality and value is fire emoji. Sal says: Just Eat It (4.1/5) Matty says: Sliced lamb, yams, Szechuan soup base. One taught me love, one taught me patience, and one taught me pain, Chinese hot pot don't got that veggie bowls but their soup bases are

Came here on a busy Friday night. Waited about 10 minutes for a table. The place was packed but very large and spacious, lots of staff busy. We each ordered our own brother and picked out our items each, was very happy with how large the servings were. Our food came out promptly for how busy it was. FYI- the Szechuan broth is the best and spiciest. Unfortunately they didn't forget my friend ordered an extra item and still tried to charge her for it, our waiter wasn't much helping sorting it out when we asked him. Customer service overall could have been better. Food was great.

This is a go-to spot for AYCE hot pot in Edmonton. The price is a decent deal as the restaurant doesn't skimp out on the orders of meat and seafood. They have a diverse sauce bar with lots of options. However, this past time visiting we encountered a waitress with a particularly bad attitude that left a sour taste in our mouths for the entire meal. Other waitresses provided good service though so perhaps that waitress was having a bad day.

Love the deal they have at Chinese hotpot buffet ($17.99) for 4 times, your choice of broth & noodles after 9pm. The restaurant is incredibly spacious and makes for a very pleasant hot pot experience. If you're in the Southside like we are, this is our go-to spot for late night eats!

With my Player's Club card, I get coupons including a 2 for 1 Buffet one, which makes it $20 for dinner for 2 which is a pretty good value. The breakfast and lunch prices are $10 and $15 respectively. There have theme nights, Tuesday is Mediterranean, Wednesday is Indian, and Thursday is Asian. You pay when you arrive so you can't check our the fare first. They also ask for a tip but we didn't tip at that time as we didn't receive any service yet! We went on a Tuesday and the upper seating area was about half full. They also have seating in lower area accessible by stairs but they closed off that section while we were there. The booths are roomy and comfortable. The buffet itself is small. There are 3 rows with the first having 2 soups, 5 different salads but were on small plates, rolls, and condiments and cutlery. The middle row had the hot foods and that night it included rice, roast potatoes, green beans, other vegetables, beef souvlaki, roast chicken, pita and various dips including hummus, gravy, spanikopita, and a person there to cut you slices of roast lamb. The third row had an ice cream machine and toppings, fresh cantaloupe and honeydew melon, pre made mini cupcakes, a few different squares, baklava, and a peach crumble. They also have self serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and one of those soda machines that you select many different kinds of flavoured pop. The lamb was the star of the show, it was tender and not too gamy tasting. The beef was dry and hard and chicken was cooked well but not very flavourful. Couldn't really go wrong with the green beans, spanikopita, and potatoes. For dessert, the peach dessert was so bad I had to spit it all out as the peaches were so sour as they were the canned type. I went back for a piece of baklava and it was stuck on the plate. I wiggled a piece free and since it was so big, I wasn't able to finish it. It was pretty cold as they probably took it out of the freezer a few hours earlier but still good. The service to start with was awful and based on that, I would have given this 2 stars. There was a woman walking around and taking away plates and acknowledging other tables but not ours. When I did have a dirty plate, she removed it but not the cup. The woman who came by after her was nice and efficient. The first woman was terrible and I don't see her lasting long. The food was just alright and the price good with the 2 for 1 coupon.

Not the worst Sunday Brunch in Edmonton but not in my TOP 5. Quantity vs Quality at this Radisson…read moreHotel Sunday brunch. I came looking forward to the Sunday brunch. Who doesn't like roast beef, shrimp and a chocolate fountain? The advertisements in the lobby looked good (see photo) and at $32 a head it's not an unfair price. Unfortunately just like the food at the Lion Head's pub, this Sunday Brunch was a poor experience where nothing was quite right. With one of the largest selections of choices at the buffet this brunch looks great on paper but unfortunately it's just not there for quality. Starting from the top 1. The Carving station is dry and they will not cut you any piece except from the end. When you leave a piece of meat under a heat lamp, it's going to get dry. When I left he was still serving off the same piece of dried meat. People coming in later were still getting the same piece of meat that was served for 2hrs. 2. The Eggs Benedict speaks for itself(look at the photos). Who leaves Eggs Benny's in a warming tray with sauce on? Gross. 3.There were 3 hot mashed mashed potato tureens. THREE! Who needs 3 choices of mashed potatoes. The problem was , none of them were good. Gluey, as you can imagine from having sat there for hours . 4. The Omelette station looks great, and we tried it and noticed immediately these were not fresh eggs. I asked the cook and she said, they use liquid egg unless you specifically ask for fresh egg. The biggest problem with the ATRIUM is that it survives off of the teams and hotel guests that stay there. It doesn't really have to try hard to do ok. If you live in the city skip this over priced version of a Buffet Royale. I'm giving it 2.5 stars. Why did it get 2 stars? Nothing stood out, not one piece of food Why did it not get 1 stars? Great Service Lots of Free parking around.
