The inside of Hakata Ramen is tight and can get pretty busy, but the vibe is what you'd expect for the area. The staff is honestly the best part. They are welcoming and move fast. I have been here a handful of times and it is a reliable choice for comfort food. They have these daily bento specials with ramen, sushi, and appetizers that look like a great deal. I tried, but they are intriguing. The main downside is the broth quality compared to the price. There are definitely more authentic ramen spots in the city if you are a purist. You can tell the base is not a homemade tonkatsu broth, which is a bit of a letdown for what they charge. Still, it is a decent spot for a quick meal. * Tempura Ramen (7/10): The tempura is a total highlight because it is served on a separate plate to keep it from getting soggy, though the broth itself is fairly standard. We started with chips & salsa, which were delicious! We had to stop ourselves from getting more so we could have room for dinner... I ordered the mi pueblito enchiladas. The portion size was huge as it was served on a larger-than-average plate. I mixed the enchiladas with the rice & beans and it was an excellent, flavorful bite! I loved everything about my meal. We enjoyed their Fajitas Honolulu the most. The meat, veggie and cheese flavor profiles all mixed well together and you get the tanginess of the pineapple running throughout. Very yummy especially when paired with their warmed tortillas. We also tried their Birria Tacos but found the meat a little dry unfortunately. Not bad, just not the best dish of the night. Also, the staff here are incredibly nice! There is a very homey & warm atmosphere here. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

Though not a Thai restaurant, their Tom Yum noodle soup is just the best. They let you choose the type of noodle you want which is really nice if you want to customize and have a preference for noodles. Other favorites I recommend from the menu are the fried oysters and the green tea smoothie. Wish I could recommend more since it's such a big menu but I keep sticking to the same things so I can't personally speak to them. Others have tried the rice dishes etc and liked them a lot as well so I really don't think you can go wrong.

I started with chicken wings assuming they'd be actual chicken wings in line with say, Chinese restaurants. Instead, I got the cheap breaded, seemingly frozen, garbage sold at a dime a dozen pizza/sub places. They are low quality nonsense...and $11. Hilarious. I also got the rib eye beef and enoki ramen noodles. Listen, there is roughly 5lbs of it. 3 adults can share it. But Quincy has endless options for authentic Asian food and that's what we want--quality over quantity, Asian food with fresh, quality ingredients. See the pictures. It is a mound of overcooked mush with extremely/borderline inedible fatty meat and equally mushy enoki mushrooms hidden here and there. When I know for a fact that I could cook a stir fry ramen that is ten times better than what I just paid $20 for, there is zero reason to return to your restaurant, and I won't.

The food quality is above average, the execution is high, and the service is attentive. The space is clean and efficient, but lacks warmth. We visited the day after a large 1-2 foot snowstorm, and Ochi was one of the only restaurants open in town. I've eaten at Ochi 4x since it opened in 2023, although there's a lot more to explore on its expansive and prolific menu. On this visit, we tried a Tuna Poke Bowl, a Salmon Pome Bowl, a Katsu Ramen, a Mango Salad, and a Mochi desert. Regarding the Tuna Poke Bowl, Ochi took the liberty of substituting more expensive fatty tuna (Toro), for regular tuna (Maguro), a generous and appreciated gift as a thanks for dining on a very slow night due to the storm. Hence, I would recommend everything we tried: the Mango Salad, any of the Sushi, Sashimi and Maki choices, the Poke bowls and Ramen (especially the Spicy Miso Ramen, the chicken Katsu Ramen, and any of the traditional pork or beef Ramen choices). In addition, the deserts are especially worth trying, and are all well orchestrated. You can't really go wrong at Ochi.

Location is great, there were able 2 employees working the front. Not really sociable with us but very chatty with each other. Pricing is a bit on the higher end for the quality for sure, out of 7 dishes between a group of 4 and 2 were for sure pre-made items only 2 dishes were ok. As for the food itself, I can say it's more on a "cleaner" side vs the extra flavor and oily texture you'd get from a fast food chain. The ramen broth was subtle, the noodle perfect, but the flavor wasn't there. The Chef special roll was way over priced for what you get, especially only having 1 piece being the best out of the "assorted" fish. The hibachi wasn't good in my opinion, good portion though. Would not order that again. The chicken teriyaki flavor was great, chicken texture was more like grilled on a pan vs over flame. Loved the veggies though. The gyoza and takoyaki were good as well as the strawberry mochi icecream. Wish they were more friendly though, making us feel like we were inconvenient for them was a major turn off.
