My sister's chicken shawarma wrap and fries. The fries are delicious!

Brought my mom here for lunch the day before yesterday. I've been here a couple times and was telling her about the Baba ghanoush on the way home from the city so she asked me to take her here to try it. She loved all of the things she tried and that's not an easy accomplishment with her lately. We both ordered bowls with Greek salad bases, gyro meat, dolma, baba ghanoush, tsatziki and garlic sauce on top. I really love how large the portions are here because I could easily get 3 healthy meals out of one bowl and a side of full pita. The restaurant is also very clean and cute and the service is great! The owner (I think?) was so friendly and helpful and gave my mom a sample of the baba ghanoush- she loves samples so that made her very happy!

I really really enjoyed my food selection here and the quality of the meat from here. The two guys working here were also very friendly and helpful and very suggestive of different food items and what were inside of them. And also what to possibly try as a nice dessert from their establishment. They had a little kiosk inside, which is how we placed our order and then about 10 minutes later our food was ready for pick up. Everything that we ordered was really good if you prefer to dine in there are some seating available inside as well. Next time we are interested in looking to try some of their items that have the pistachio and chocolate combination. Medium in pricing range.

The Yafa Hummus in Tracy is my favorite, but this Lodi location was just okay. Everything had too much tomato, and I didn't love that you can't actually see all the choices and toppings while ordering. I wish it were more Chipotle-style, where you can see all the fresh ingredients and build your meal as you go. The food was fine, just not as good or customizable as the Tracy location.

I loved the shawarma and the fries were so delicious. So fresh and crispy and the shawarma is filled with so much flavor. The owner was super nice and very welcoming. I love this place 100% and the environment is very clean and beautiful.

Wonderful food and such pleasant service at Yafa Hummus! We stopped by on a drive through town and I am glad we did. I ordered a bowl with chicken, rice, spicy hummus, spring mix and tzatziki and garlic sauce. It was delicious ! The flavors were so good and pita bread was delicious. The store itself is clean and bright with a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend it!

I got the falafel wrap and I highly recommend. With a side of fries. It was clean cut and not messy, and the taste was really good! They don't have ranch by the way.

Yafa Hummus is a pretty good place for Mediterranean style food. They have a somewhat limited menu, but everything is of good quality, and the quality is consistent. Although they are probably the most expensive restaurant for this kind of food in town, their servings are also probably bigger than others. Personally I think their hummus is ok but I prefer the style you find at The Dancing Fox. However their babaganoush is excellent. Customizing your order can be a challenge because their register system doesn't allow you to swap things out unfortunately. That's not to say that it can't be done, just that it's a challenge. My main complaint is that they use bitter herbs instead of lettuce, which wilt when wrapped up with something warm like meat or falafel, and they lack the fresh crunch you get with regular lettuce. Otherwise, the food is good and you won't be disappointed.

This is so far the best Yafa Hummus location to me. The service is amazing!!! A worker by the name Zack was so friendly, kind, attentive and generous. It's rare to find people like him and he really made our visit special on Eid. You can tell Zack has a good heart. Usually, I go to the one in Livermore to meet halfway with my friends but from now on, I will go here as the service and the attitude of the employees go a long way. The ambiance is nice too. Clean, calm and well lit (but not too annoyingly bright. Thank you so much! I recommend the shawarma wrap, lentil soup and baklava ice cream. Honestly though, everything is good here. I am happy they also sell Turkish delights.

Was craving Mediterranean food and stopped by this Lodi restaurant while traveling down to Central California. We decided to dine in since we had been on the road for several hours. The restaurant itself is small and has more of a vibe to take food to go - as we saw several door dashers come and go during our hour there. But there are plenty of small tables available for dining in, and well air conditioned. Ordered a beef Gyro, dolmas, and falafels. The Gyro was a notably generous size with a good helping of tzatziki sauce, white onions, and tomato. The dolmas tasted fresh and the falafels were smaller in size than I am used to but still good. We paired with tahini and chili sauce. Large dessert assortment available but did not have any today. Good flavors over all, quick to serve or take to go. The gentleman who assisted us was kind, positive and attentive to our needs.

This place is ok. I ordered online and put "*ALLERGY*: NO TOMATOES" and my falafel wrap had tons of em. The side of falafels were super tiny compared to other places and in the wrap itself they were super small. The baklava was a small piece for $4.25...not worth the price. Overall I won't be back. For Greek "fast food" I prefer Go Falafel...by far better food!

I have been here a handful of times and each time the food has been amazing and always made super fresh! I took my mom for the first time and Murad, our server, was such a great host! Since it was my mom's first time trying this type of food I appreciated how patient he was while she took some time to make her order, even letting her try some of the baby ganoush! He let us try the different sauces and we loved the tahini and tzakiki. We both ordered the bowls which were filled to the brim, and all of it came out fresh (he cooked the chicken as soon as we ordered it!) My mom was so happy she found a new favorite spot! Thank you Murad for such a great experience today, always appreciate when you can tell the restaurant and its people care about their customers

Came here today with my daughter and didn't have any expectations and was pretty blown away. 1st of all service was a 5 out of 5 the guys working here were so awesome and so friendly. Would want to come back just for the awesome service. Food was also very tasty we split the spicy hummus, large side of cucumber salad and a chicken shawarma wrap. Food was really good and look forward to coming back!

The food was amazing and very well prepared I came in a couple days ago for lunch with my husband and it was our first time. We were indecisive about what to order but luckily there was a young man who said he was the owners son and he was extremely helpful and knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions and gave me samples of everything and he helped so much and he even gave us a free Turkish delight and it tasted just like a apple fritter it was amazing. My husband ordered the shawarma fries loaded and he didn't leave a single bite on his plate I ordered the bowl but I was too full to finish because of there large portion sizes. Was referred to Yafa by a friend and we have enjoyed the food three times now. Every time the food has been fresh and tasty especially the spicy hummus and falafels. The menu has a great variety of different things and we want to try them all. The service has been excellent and the servers have been excellent making suggestions for us to try, they are very talkative with everyone in the place which makes it a great experience. read more

We tried the family meal and there was so much excellent food. We were able to try almost everything. I recommend the shawarma with the garlic sauce. And don't forget to try the baklava ice cream. The mix of crunchy baklava with creamy ice cream is amazing read more

We've been going to Yafa Hummus for about five years in Tracy. Always the best Mediterranean food, period. My wife suggested back when we first found them that they needed to come to Lodi. That day is now here. Had a nice talk with the owner. The place was standing room only when we were there this afternoon. We've always had one favorite lunch place in town, now we have another to alternate with for our lunches out. read more

I usually don't like to write reviews but this one i had too i order Chicken shawarma which supposed to be freshly cooked but what came out is chewy rough bad smell chicken in my sandwich to point i had to spit it. I saw it wasn't a direct cut from the skewer i thought it would be fine if it was cooked today but after taking one 2 bites i spit the 2nd and through everything away as it seems been in that keep warm tray for so many days. Definitely wouldn't try or recommend this place to anyone old food should be thrown away not feed in the next coming day to people read more

Didn't realize this location (lodi) was open. I stopped at the supermarket in the same shopping center, noticed it was open, and I'm glad I did. Everything looks great. This trip I only got tabuleh and hummus with pita bread. The classic hummus is delicious. Even better, in my opinion, is the spicy hummus. It is not overpowering spice, but a nice change of pace. The tabuleh was so good- fresh and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back and try the shawarma fries - they look amazing. read more

My husband and I tried this place after seeing an ad in the local online newspaper. We love Mediterranean food and before they opened I went online to check out reviews of their Bay Area stores. All were excellent, so I was excited to try them out for the first time today and was definitely NOT disappointed!! Really wonderful food and the owners were there to answer our questions. Everything is really fresh and delicious and it's very clean and nicely decorated. We had the chicken shawarma wraps today, but I'm anxious to return and try one of their bowls! We also ordered hummus to try with our wraps - WOW!! Best we've ever had anywhere! Like many restaurants, they're looking for help, but were doing their best to keep up with the numerous customers we saw coming in. It's great to see the community support in such a new restaurant and were told that they've been quite busy since opening - that's always a good sign! Will DEFINITELY be returning soon!! read more

I was a first time visitor of this restaurant, and was really disappointed Saturday night. Started off with a young man who was more interested in talking on the phone to a friend than helping me as I stood there waiting for him to play with his phone social media apps, and eventually take my order. He then did not help the ladies who were clearly struggling. They kept asking him for help, he was too busy on the phone. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally received my food. I noticed that my french fries had been sitting in the basket for a minimum of 10 minutes before they actually made their way to the seasoning bowl and into a box but they sat in the box for another five minutes before the rest of the food was done. There was potential for a good tasting fry but they were cold. The falafel were close to burnt and dry. The chicken and lamb were good but the overall experience was not. Pretty disappointed. $70 later not impressed. read more

All of our sides are Vegetarian and almost are all Vegan. The Gyro and Chicken Shawarma meat is all-natural with no hormones added; also Halal. Lastly, the Falafel is made fresh daily from scratch using Grandpa's 50+ year recipe and spices. Yafa Hummus opened in September 2017, a concept that was thought out for nearly a year. Two brothers and a cousin have put their Grandpa's Hummus and falafel recipes into use. I recently enjoyed a fantastic meal at Yafa Hummus in Lodi. I ordered their gyro bowl which was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The spicy hummus was creamy and delicious, clearly made with care.
