Buffalo chicken with beer battered fries

Really good burgers and chicken sandwiches with a lot of variety. Many choices and a lot of ways to customize. Our order came nice and hot. My husband's was still steaming after he had eaten half. Waiter was attentive and offered suggestions. He said the they make really great milkshakes. Something to try in the future.

I have been coming here for years and I have always enjoyed the food and service. It's expensive to eat here but it used to be worth the premium. I ordered a burger and I was given someone else's burger. I had a few fries before I realized, I opened the burger to find it wasn't the BBQ burger I ordered. Richard, our waiter, proceeded to tell me that i didn't order it. Then he tells me it's someone else's order. Which is it? He proceeds to take the burger my fingers were all over and re-serves it to another patron. (So it was someone else's order). He rushes my corrected order back to my table. The burger was dry and burnt. Was this retaliation? At this point I didn't care. I just ate. My wife reported her go-to beef dip sandwich was not the same quality we have been used to. He didn't get my wife the Pepsi she orders but charged us for it. When I point it out (in the most polite and respectful manner) he snatched the receipt out of my hand. The restaurant is starting to look run down too. It's a shame management is letting a place like this go down the tubs. I have heard Richard apologize to just about every patron in the restaurant at some point and the word tracks he uses to confirm orders or to ask if someone wants anything else is patronizing and confusing. Richard should not be customer facing or doing any tasks that require reading, writing, listening or interacting with customers. The soda syrup/carbonation ratios are really bad. Hoping for a course correction because cutting corners is a death sentence for any premium burger joint. When you take away the premium all you have is an over priced burger that makes me wish I went to Burger King instead. At least I can expect poor service and poor quality food without paining $40

If you're a fan of club sandwiches, then you should give Moo Moo's a try. They're known for their burgers but I wanted to try the classic triple decker club. Perfectly layered ham and turkey along with bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato. The order comes with a choice of fries, onion rings or even a side salad if you prefer. I had the beer battered fries and stole a couple of onion rings from my wife's plate to taste both. They were crispy and flavorful. Our server was very attentive without being disruptive. The restaurant is clean and decorated in the style of its name, barn-style. I will have to go back to try the burgers but for now I will recommend that club sandwich.

We were on our way to visit family, and decided to stop in Lodi for a bite to eat. The area that we found is so super cute during the holiday season! Holiday music is playing in the streets, there are horse drawn carriages, and the center of town is just a lovely place to walk around and shop. We decided to try Moo Moo's burger barn, since the Italian restaurant across the street, for some reason wasn't open. Moo Moo's Is a small burger joint, and I'm just gonna put this out there, don't waste your time or money checking this place out. There's a sign that says wait to be seated, and we stood there for over five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us, let alone seat us. The people that walked in after us waited just as long, if not longer. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy. When we were finally acknowledged, we were told to just take a seat wherever we wanted. What's the purpose of the sign then?! The same person that finally acknowledged us, also turned out to be our waiter and came over and dropped off menus. He popped back around literally two minutes later, asking us if we were ready to order. We asked for a few more moments, and he just walked away. This happened Three times. Yes, three times. We opted to get the barbecue moo with onion rings, and the mushroom moo with fries. I had asked for some ketchup or sauce for the fries and onion rings when the meal was brought to the table. The guy literally said to me you want ketchup for your fries? It was just such a weird exchange. While we were waiting, the strawberry shake that we were going to share, was dropped off at the table. It was dropped off in the container that it was clearly made in. No glasses, nothing. Just the container, a spoon and a straw it tasted like Strawberry quick from back in the day that had been watered down so it essentially was just a pink drink. It was gross. We were limited to strawberry, since we were told all other flavors were "out". I'm just gonna cut to the chase, at this point the food was dropped off, and I'm perplexed how this restaurant stays in business. Both the onion rings, and the fries not only were overcooked, but they were bland, and had no seasoning. None. The fries were so overcooked that it just tasted like fried sticks, and the onion rings , well, that's just a mystery to me because how do you have bland onion rings?! The barbecue moo was inedible. I don't know where they get their patties from or if they make them in the house, but I would've taken bland meat over whenever this was that they created a burger with. The bacon on it is yet another mystery. How does bacon not have any flavor, and, it was overcooked as well. How does the cook not notice any of these things?? The mushroom burger I had asked that instead of raw onions, that the onions be sautéed. They were barely cooked through. The best thing on this burger were the mushrooms. The waiter never came to check on us, and ask about the food, and he pretty much disappeared after the food was dropped off at the table. Had he come over, then, perhaps a meal would've been corrected. Maybe not. When he finally did show up, we needed to get going because we had a lengthy drive ahead of us, and we noticed that we had been charged for the ketchup, as well as the ranch dressing that was already part of the meal. We were never told that we were going to be charged extra for what is usually a normal accompany to a meal. In retrospect, I'm glad that I did not ask for cutlery, because we probably would've been charged for that as well. Cute town during the holidays, not a great place to stop for a meal. As a sidenote, the shake in the two burgers, came to $50. Shame on anyone for charging this much money for bad food and bad customer service.

I have been coming to this location for years and used to dine-in a lot when I was younger and would go to the theatre a lot. It's a cute diner style restaurant downtown with murals and cow decor and it's great for people watching. At this point I feel like I have tried most of the menu. They have consistently good burgers and fries and the shakes are also really good. Even though they are more expensive than a fast food place , I still order from this location at least once a month because it's worth it. My husband likes to get the cheesesteak or Reuben and I like that there are lots of options so I don't get bored. I came in a few years ago with a large group and everyone was able to find something to their liking so it's a good option if you are looking for variety. For the last few years, I prefer to get takeout. The service has not always been as good as the food in my opinion. The area can get busy and parking can be tough depending on when you visit, but I would definitely give them a try if you are in the area.

Food was delicious! I had the teriyaki mushroom burger, it was messy but had a great teriyaki flavor especially in the mushrooms. Garlic fries were real garlic fries, if you want just a little garlic these are not for you. LOL! Hubby had BBQ burger and onion rings and he ate it all! Strawberry milshake was ok, nothing superb. Service was excellent, place wasn't busy, very clean! Will definitely add it to my top local burger places to go! Sorry I didn't take a pic of burger, I was hungry and forgot to take pic, LOL!

So when in Lodi, I'm a regular at this restaurant. It's been probably 3 or 4 years since my first review of this place. The place still looks great. Clean Gender neutral bathrooms. Love the art painted on the walls. Servers are very polite. Burgers are my jam. We try to have a different burger every time we come here. For this visit, we had the pastrami burger (prepared as on menu) with fries, pastrami burger with sautéed mushrooms served with onion rings and a bowl of chili with cheese and red onions. The pastrami burgers was really good. My burger patty was well done which is not to my liking. I love my burger medium rare. My hubby loved his pastrami burger with the sautéed mushrooms. Fries and onion rings were nice and hot, great with my chili. The chili was perfect with the right amount of cheese and red onions. The chopped raw red onions took the flavor to another level. Loved it. Had it on my fries, onion rings and also on the burger. I don't usually finish my burger but this one was all gone. You can count it as one of my new favorites at this place. I think I have to try the chili burger moo next.

For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. Cant go wrong here. It was so good that a week later I was back and ordered the same thing. As a foodie, of course I tried my husbands chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was not dry and it was well seasoned. I'm a southern girl so proper seasoning is key. Ambiance: Loved the ambiance at the Brick House. A cross between Cheers and old school Italian. It was clean, well decorated and nicely located in the charm of downtown Lodi. Service: The service was really good. Both times I went my server was Nathan. He was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Staff were prompt and efficient throughout the meal, checking in regularly without hovering, and pacing everything well. We had time to finish our salad before the pizza came out, and they gave us a natural break before dessert. No long waits, no rushing... just well-managed service. We started with the capri salad. I thought it was fresh and well-balanced, but my partner wasn't particularly impressed, and so I'd call that one mixed reviews depending on your expectations. For the main event, we ordered the pepperoni pizza "Nick's way" (with ricotta and hot honey). This was the highlight of the meal. The crust was well executed, nicely cooked with a good chew, not too thick and not overly thin. The pepperoni and hot honey combination worked really well, giving it that sweet-and-savory balance that keeps you going back for another slice. The cheese was excellent, with the ricotta adding a nice contrast. If I had one critique, it's that the sauce was a bit light. I would've preferred a slightly heavier hand there to round things out, but it didn't take away from the overall quality. We each had a glass of wine, my partner had a Pinot, and I had a red blend (not labeled as a house wine, and I couldn't find the exact winery afterward). The by-the-glass selection is limited, but they do have a fairly extensive bottle selection if you want more options. For dessert, we both went with sundaes and honestly, these are worth coming back for on their own. Simple, well done, and genuinely satisfying. If you're nearby, it wouldn't be a stretch to stop in just for dessert. Overall, a strong neighborhood spot with excellent pizza, well-paced service, and standout desserts. A few minor limitations (light sauce, limited wine-by-the-glass options), but definitely worth a visit.

Came on a Saturday for lunch visiting a friend. I was enticed by all the colorful looking pictures…read moreand because I've never had German or German inspired food before. Now was a good as time as any! As we entered, there was a sign to meet at the bar for seating. The waitress/server came out after a bit of a wait and according to my friend, it's usually a longer wait time around lunch for someone to come out and seat you. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!

With the chipotle spill it comes with. The fries here are puffy crispy very delicious. +$5 for fries or a salad. The service was excellent. Was disappointed to be charged for requesting more horadishsauce because it's not enough in the burger from the second server who came to check on us. For a $18 meal sauce should be complimentary. The POG juice pineapple, mango, guava was good. It's an improvement for sure since the last time I came. Small outside dining. The bar area is pretty. The main dining not so much, feels industrial.
