This was our first try here. First, it's a smaller location in the old town area. It's clean and very well kept. It has around 12 or so tables. There were few people already seated when we arrived. Our server, Brittany, greeted us and took our drink orders. She was amazing at her job. Even when the restaurant got very crowded she managed her tables very well. A big shout out to her! Now the food. The menu is obviously Mediterranean by nature, hummus, pita, kabobs, etc but there are items like ribeye sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc. I ordered Keftka plate which came with rice and a salad but it substituted fries for the salad, the fries were crinkle cut even. My wife ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs plate which came with rice and salad. The food, all of it, was just amazing. Perfectly seasoned and cooked and the portions were very generous. I work in Galt, California, once a month and heard about this Mediterranean restaurant from a coworker. I owed her lunch so we ordered takeout. This day the restaurant was out of the wrap for shawarmas, so we had the chicken kabob plate and the lamb kabob plate. The meat was very tender. The rice, however, was a delicious surprise for both of us. Yellow, fluffy, soft, perhaps a hint of garlic and pasta? Not sure. I would go back for sure. read more

One word: YUM! I always get the lamb kebab and for like five more bucks you can get another kebab (so 3 instead of 2) - which I can never eat but it makes great leftovers. They do big portions- tons of rice and salad. I bet it's family owned and loved. The chef especially seems to know what he is doing! First time we had that kind of eggplant apps with tahini sauce and ohh, it was amazing!! Their kind of falafel had different texture and bite, oh boy! We were taken how crunchy they were with the tahini sauce and absolutely enjoyable!! Why did I take so long to go here?! The food I ordered was a 10/10! I ordered Hummus and pita bread and a rib eye shawarma. Everything I ordered had such amazing flavors. I don't have anything to complain about! I will be back to order more hummus (the BEST hummus I have ever had in my life!) and although I'll be tempted to order another shawarma, I am so excited to try the other dishes this place has to offer. Found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! The menu has tons of options and they apparently have specialty dishes every other Saturday, which is cool. We got the hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. Took about 25 minutes, but honestly the wait was fine because the restaurant is really nicely decorated and roomy, so we just hung out. Staff was very friendly too. The food was really good and authentic. The hummus was thick and creamy with plenty of olive oil on top, and the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken shawarma was also well-spiced and came with fries. The baba ghanoush and pita bread had great flavor. I think they roasted the eggplants for the baba ghanoush on fire. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get--portions are generous. There's plenty of parking which is a plus. If you're heading to the Lodi wine region for tastings, this is a solid spot to grab food beforehand. I'm definitely coming back to try more dishes. read more

The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities. What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob. I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad,hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. Probably the best pita I've ever had. My husband and MIL went with the Mediterranean Bowl with rib eye. The meat was cooked perfectly and each bite extremely tender. The bowls were overflowing with beef, greens and rice. I went with the Kebab Trio (rib eye, chicken and Kefta) served with a salad and rice. Each kebab was perfectly cooked and spiced perfectly. The food is good, but.... Last three times I've tried ordering there, first time they said they're not taking orders. This was at like 5:30pm. Second time it showed they should've been open, but they weren't. Third time tried a few times and no answer again, at 5:30pm. Previous two times I did actually receive food from them, one time they forgot the hummus, she luckily called me and I had to go back, but neither time got the garlic sauce. This is the second time I've eaten here and my Husband's first time and we both love it! The food is so flavorful and fresh. You can just tell that love is poured into everything they make and it is made with pure pride. My husband got the lamb kabobs and they are amazing. I got the Kefta at it was amazing as well. Their hummus is some of the best that I've ever had. Their rice pilaf is also sooooo GOOD...my husband couldn't get enough of it. We decided that this will be our weekly lunch date place to go to.
