First time we had that kind of eggplant apps with tahini sauce and ohh, it was amazing!! Their kind of falafel had different texture and bite, oh boy! We were taken how crunchy they were with the tahini sauce and absolutely enjoyable!! Found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! The menu has tons of options and they apparently have specialty dishes every other Saturday, which is cool. We got the hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. Took about 25 minutes, but honestly the wait was fine because the restaurant is really nicely decorated and roomy, so we just hung out. Staff was very friendly too. The food was really good and authentic. The hummus was thick and creamy with plenty of olive oil on top, and the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken shawarma was also well-spiced and came with fries. The baba ghanoush and pita bread had great flavor. I think they roasted the eggplants for the baba ghanoush on fire. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get--portions are generous. There's plenty of parking which is a plus. If you're heading to the Lodi wine region for tastings, this is a solid spot to grab food beforehand. I'm definitely coming back to try more dishes. read more

My son and I ordered the trio platter (chicken,steak& lamb) plated with plenty of rice and an arugula salad topped with a nice tangy sweet dressing. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities. What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob. I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad,hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The food is good, but.... Last three times I've tried ordering there, first time they said they're not taking orders. This was at like 5:30pm. Second time it showed they should've been open, but they weren't. Third time tried a few times and no answer again, at 5:30pm. Probably the best pita I've ever had. My husband and MIL went with the Mediterranean Bowl with rib eye. The meat was cooked perfectly and each bite extremely tender. We had reservations at 5:30, got right in and sat down. There were 3 full tables plus our table of 2. A few minutes after us another group of 5 came in, and then another couple. We were asked what we wanted to drink, and we said 1 water, 1 ice tea. She said she'd be right back. A few minutes later she came and took our order. We waited, and waited and waited. The party of 5 after not being greeted, got up and left.The waitress said our food was going through the line,and it would be out soon. We asked again for napkins and silverware, she said, she'd get it. At 6:43 we finally got our meal. The fattoush salad, ribeye kabobs, and mediterranean bowl. Still no silverware. The dancer was performing again, so we didn't want to get up. We waved our waitress down, and motioned for silverware. She brought it over,and we noticed that 1 of the meals was wrong. ( u will c in picture) It was supposed to be the ribeye kabobs, not 1 ribeye and 1 chicken. When we told her she said, no, thats what u ordered. We said, no, and then she said, they ran out of food and they gave u a chicken one instead. U don't even ask us, u just thought that was ok. She said, well u were the last order and we let u in, and we ran out. We said We had a 5:30 reservation! She was very defensive, and said how can I make u happy? In the meantime, the couple that came in after us got upset about the wait,because in the meantime another couple that came in was served there food before them, and us!! We thought there was going to be a fight!. I do have to say, the food is very very.good. Its really a shame. About 10 min later she came out with ribeye kabob, she said she heard the cook, wrong, they didn't run out, they had to cut it up. The owner came around and asked how the food was, we said it was good, the service, not so good. He didn't respond, and asked if we paid yet, we said no. This is the second time I've eaten here and my Husband's first time and we both love it! The food is so flavorful and fresh. You can just tell that love is poured into everything they make and it is made with pure pride. My husband got the lamb kabobs and they are amazing. I got the Kefta at it was amazing as well. Their hummus is some of the best that I've ever had. Their rice pilaf is also sooooo GOOD...my husband couldn't get enough of it. We decided that this will be our weekly lunch date place to go to.
