An array of unique desserts that will make your head spin (we had the TikTok famous Dubai chocolate there). I don't like a lot of dressing so the kale slaw wasn't my fave but I should have known. Ok now this place is the real deal. I've had shawarma raps everywhere you can think of but never have I had shawarma fries, and let me just tell you it's definitely going to be a norm from now on. I have been hearing about this place none stop from friends and family and they won't stop talking about it, so I had to give it a shot. I wasn't sure what to order so I asked one of the employees what I should try first, they recommended the shawarma fries, and I absolutely loved it. Hands down my newest favorite spot to grab a quick bite or just dine in with the family. I can't wait to visit again in the really near future. Let me just say one last thing. At Yafa Hummus in Lodi Ca the people were cool, not to mention generous giving us two free pieces of baklava. The service was excellent and both the older and younger gentlemen friendly. The chicken wrap shawarma was fresh, the meat tender and my wrap toasty. I tried out a yogurt drink and a carbonated strawberry flavored drink. The store front lead me to believe that I might be dealing with fast and convenient, but would likely be lacking quality. Such a delicious gyro pita! Seasoned fries were excellent as well. I have sesame sensitivity (not severe allergy) but a nice man who seemed like the owner walked his employee through steps of proper glove changing and cleaning and discussed cross contamination possibility between oil fryers (I am ok with cc but really appreciated him pointing it out). The food was the best! I got a chicken swarma wrap, gyro, fries, hummus and pita. They were nice and threw in a sample of falafels. Listen to me when I say the falafels were best I've ever had. My wife and I made her way to Yafa Hummus today for lunch. It's a small, very clean well decorated Mediterranean spot right on Lodi Avenue . They offer wraps or bowls, with either falafel chicken, Shawarma, or Gyro. They offer three different kinds of hummus. My wife and I ordered the basic hummus, which came with two pita. It was extremely creamy and well-made served with a healthy drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil, and extra garbanzo beans. We both had the euro wrap which was excellent and the owner offered us two falafel to try even though we had not ordered them. My wife and I have driven all the way to San Jose for good falafel but I'm going to tell you his were outstanding. Nearly everything is made in house and fresh. He has several desserts which also looked wonderful. We look forward to coming back several times to be able to try the things on the menu that we weren't able to get to today. The owner said that there are four restaurants all family owned in Pleasanton Livermore, Tracy and Lodi. Don't let the casual appearance of this restaurant fool you. It's obvious the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality and the people preparing the food know exactly what they're doing. Stopped in at the Lodi location and tried the falafel sliders. They had good flavor and texture. They gave me a sample of the hummus and it is fantastic. It did not have any overpowering or competing flavors... it was creamy and delicious pure and simple... kinda perfect?! The service was very good. I can not recommend Yafa Hummus enough. It is such a good option for Mediterranean food. In my opinion it's the best option in the area. 5 stars does not do it justice. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is great. There is music playing, but not too loud. It's an inviting and warm setting - bright and clean. Every staff member I have encountered has been friendly, attentive and prompt. Any questions you have, they'll happily walk you through the menu. My favorite option is the "build your own" bowl - you can't go wrong with any of the selections. My personal recommendation is rice base - half chicken, half beef - mediterranean salad, pesto hummus topped with garlic and chili sauce. The bowl is generous amount of food - you can easily split it and make two meals. Another great option is a gyro. The beef is tender / tasty - perfectly paired with tomato and onion on warm pita. We have tried most of the sides, and they have all been great. Tabuleh, mediterranean salad, dolma (stuffed grape leaves) - It all reminds me of my Grandmothers cooking and it takes me back to my childhood and to a very happy place. Last, their hummus is delicious - my personal favorite is the Pesto Hummus, you can easily eat it just by itself. You can't go wrong with the other two hummus options; original or spicy - they are both fantastic as well. I really hope everyone that likes Mediterranean food gives them a chance, and they're able to thrive in this location. It would be a shame to lose such a great dining option. read more

So exited Yafa opened a Lodi location. Staff was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The employees periodically went around making sure everything was clean and customers were satisfied. I got the shawarma fries 10/10 best item on the menu, the back home style, and baklava ice cream. All were delicious and highly recommend. We came in with a few kids (who are all picky eaters) and they all enjoyed/finished their food. Will definitely be back soon! read more

First off I only made a yelp account for this place. let me start off by saying the young man that goes by the name sultan was amazing this young man had a smile on his face the whole time and was absolutely on his stuff he told me he learned everything from his father which I absolutely admired he was quick with the food and even recommended me the deserts and the bowl so that's what i got the service was fast and man the desserts were amazing he offered me his personal favourite the saffron pomegranate and I recommend that 100 percent once the food was done the man in the hat named Murad was very nice and helped me out with extra sauces and utensils with a smile on his face it's hard to get good customer service like this especially in Lodi shout out to this young man's father he raised an upright man I will definitely be back to get the delicious food and for the outstanding customer service by sultan and the other employees read more

Never used yelp or left a review before but I feel like I need to because this food is amazing and there is nothing like it in Lodi. The store was very modern looking and well maintained . Everything tasted AMAZING !!! I had the shawarma wrap meal which was amazing but their fries are by far the best in town they are properly season and easily beat McDonald's fries. My brother got the loaded shawarmas fries which are not on the menu but if you ask they will make them for you and they are to die for. The customer service was over the roof. The owner is extremely kind and one of the ladies even gave me samples of their desserts which were delicious and I had to go buy some. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!! read more
