I had a great experience here ! Peter is the owner here and he's super nice. He can communicate well in both English and Chinese which is a plus. His price is fair and he gets the job done quick. Honestly amongst all the Chinese based mechanics I've been to, this was probably the one with the best etiquette and mannerism. It's hard to find those since chinese run auto shops are more about just getting the job done and quick without caring much about educating u on what's wrong with the car and minimal mannerism, but this place is different and I felt very well taken care of here. I had my oil change done here about a year ago, and I swear that they changed the oil, but did not change the oil filter. About 5 months after the oil change, I had an emergency oil engine light. Then I had to go to a different mechanic for an emergency oil change and spend even more money. Recently I took my car to Y & C auto repair for a simple oil change for my car. Do you BELIEVE that the owner had his mechanic cut off the plastic cover underneath my car engine to save about 5 minutes of time so they could access my oil filter? Now the under of my engine is exposed because they wanted to save a few minutes from doing a proper job. On top of that, I had to replace another car part shortly after their visit. If you visit them for services, I would watch them like a HAWK to make sure they don't do anything sneaky. Better yet - avoid them altogether. read more

I've been there many times. Service is ok but really depend on who works on your car. Yussa (spelling) is a great mechanic all others are basically parts swappers. The manager is Peter and he can be PITA if the shop is busy. Prices are competitive with other shops in Flushing but definitely not cheap. Ex. Oil change for my van with 6.5 qt. of Mobil 1 synthetic is around $80. Mount and Balance 4 new tires cost $100. read more
