Update about Chuey. He was back at it in the same apartments on Larkin. This time, the person had the apartment tag in their car. The older gentleman, clearly disabled and using a cane, parked in the handicapped spot. While he had a handicapped placard, it wasn't in his car at the moment. Chuey had his car on the tow truck and told the guy he would lower it for $300. The family gave him $300 cash. Meanwhile Chuey was yelling profanities and acting very aggressive. Again, yes the man should have had his placard, but like come one dude, chill the F out, put the car down, and go pick on someone who isn't disabled and someone who didn't make an honest mistake of not having their placard in the car. Instead Chuey is out here yelling, yet again, "I have all the apartment contracts I can do whatever the F**k I want," "am I talking to you or am I talking to your wife (cause he can't seem to hold a multi person conversation)," and "go f**k yourself." The owners should be embarrassed and ashamed but since I never see them comment back (well and since Chuey is still employed) that says a lot about their business and who they are as people. What's even more sad is that Chuey probably enjoys getting reviews like this--makes him feel like more of a man or something I'm sure--which really is so silly. A real man is a respectful human. Chuey has the emotional regulation of a scrambled egg! Oh and he was given $300 cash and the family appeared too upset and scared to ask for any sort of receipt/documentation. Towing service was scheduled through a 3rd party for a vehicle I had donated. Guy from this towing service calls me the day before my scheduled pick up and asks if he could pick up in the early morning instead of the afternoon when I had scheduled it. I told him I couldn't since I was working in the morning. Guy immediately had an attitude and said he would "try" to get to me in the afternoon, the time I had scheduled. Come the day of my pick up appointment, I wait the 4 hour window I was told the be available, and I get zero calls from the driver. I call up the 3rd party to ask what was going on and was told the towing service said "I was not available" at all today, so the pick up was canceled. Not only did I leave work early to be available during the 4 hour window, but I had to deal with this towing service blatantly lying as well?? Unprofessional and thieves. Got in an accident late night. CHP contacted them for the tow. I went to get my belongings early the following day and some of my personal property was missing. Its bad enough to have the stress of a vehicle loss but then to deal with theft of property between accidentally scene and tow yard is disgusting, unprofessional, and despicable. Chewy was very unprofessional and didn't even let us pay the drop fee when he began to start picking & towing up my mother vehicle, after we had asked multiple times. He said we can pick it up at the yard in an hour but didn't informed us that we would be paying an additional 125$ per 30minutes after being dropped off at the yard for a total of 750$. We followed him and he hadn't even strapped the vehicle properly and was securing it almost exiting the apartments inside the apartment complex where we live at. We even flagged him again if we can just pay the drop fee and he refused and told us to follow him. So we did. When we got to the yard he told us to pay the 500 and if we had waited the hour that he told us. We would of ended paying the 750$. This guy is shady and might be the reason for the bad reviews on this company. The other guy that helped us out. After Chewy had put the car in the yard and left without saying a word, was very professional and understanding. I hope this company really does good with what I have to say here and does something about Chewys rude and unprofessional behavior. This company needs a lesson in compassion, morals and scruples. In my opinion the only thing they care about is money. I was and still am shocked because you see, I have been on my own since the age of 15. I am now 57. I worked my entire life and opened my doors to countless kids in my neighborhood and now I'm in a situation of homelessness myself which, could happen to anyone. Last night my 10 year old grandson and I were just trying to get some sleep. He still has school so even in our situation I try and get him to sleep with security so I cover all the windows of my car so he can rest without worrying about people watching him as he sleeps. We have never had a problem parking at Walmart and sleeping so that's where we parked. As a matter a fact there is usually truckers, RVs and other people in their cars spending the night in Walmarts parking lot as well however, last night we were the only car staying over night. When the tow truck driver from Extreme Towing pulled up in front of my car actually hitting the front end of my car while boxing me in and mind you at this point he hadnt lifted my car off the ground when I rolled down my window and spoke to him. I explained our unfortunate situation and he said and I quote "pay me $125 and I let you go." my response to him was "I'm homeless with my grandson and I don't have $125. I continued to say all he had to do was tap on my window, let me know we couldn't be there and I would have left. His response was and I quote again "THAT IS NOT MY JOB" "Do you have the $125 or not? I said no at which time he lifted my car! The driver showed no compassion or empathy towards us. Not even when my grandson was crying and going into a panic attack. You can definitely tell this is NOT a family oriented company. I wouldnt be surprised if money was a huge part of their mission statement. If Im wrong then maybe their staff needs training in humanity. Extreme Towing money isn't everything! Showing your community some kindness, compassion and a little understanding of your fellow human beings situations would go a long way and also remembering one day you will be up there in age and maybe disabled as well and at no fault of your own become homeless. AVOID!! I got in a pretty bad car accident. When asked to tow the vehicle the guy Benny said he was going to take it to the yard and not to worry about it. The insurance was going to cover it. They did but only after 3k+ in storage fees accumulated. These guys are shady. They didn't contact or inform me about the storage fees. If you ask me this was misleading information done on purpose. We bought a Cargo Van for our Photo Booth Business and unfortunately our staff called after the event saying it wouldn't start. I was referred to Xtreme Towing, by a friend of mine, who said they're the best and most reliable so I called them. I have to say they were great. The driver showed up RIGHT AWAY, was really professional and tried to jump start the van. Sadly, it's the alternator, so he had to tow it for us. This is the 2nd time I'm trying to leave my review, not sure what happened the first time, but As I commented before, I'm not sure when this company was allowed to start towing vehicles in the mobile home park that I live in but I had just returned from putting gas at 7:30 a.m. on a Friday morning and pulled over in front of my house to put air into my wife's cars rear tire,I went inside the home to get the air compressor, all of the sudden I hear a scraping sound coming from outside, I go look and this tow company is about to take my car like as of it was being repossessed, I ran out and told the driver that he was not towing my car, he said I was breaking the park rules and he was gonna tow it if I didn't move it, I told him that I would move when I was done, this is not even the tow company that is on the sign at the park entrance, I had never seen Extreme towing in my mobile home park before that day, what makes this company really shady, is that I haven't seen that company since that day, patrolling my mobile Park and I make it extra effort to look for them in my park. If I could, I would give it less. False advertising. Not a 24/7 company. Waited an hour before being told no one could come, but I could schedule a pickup for the following morning. This was after waiting four hours for AAA to help me, who also bailed and said they could not find anyone. Xtreme Towing said the truck would arrive between 9-10. Worst tow truck company to ever deal with one of their drivers hit me and lied to their insurance company about the damages that were caused to my vehicle and I had to pay out of pocket to fix my car that they hit wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
