Today the LA relatives arrived, the housekey they'd been sent by the Fairfield relatives didn't work. The Fairfield relative called John [@ the gym] who asked "do you want me to get in the middle of this?" so, he contacted our contractor, Dave Allaire, who gave John Smokey Key Service's number. The technician was on his way to a job in Salinas, but stopped by the Carmel home to remedy the situation....nope, the key didn't work. so the tech [John called him Smokey, but he's deceased, was it Ronnie?] had John call the Fairfield relative [who was in the middle of getting chemotherapy!] to have her send a photo of the REAL housekey & the tech performed his magic & resolved the situation.
