I called Star Mobile Locksmith after being locked out of my vehicle. The technician/owners worked on my Honda for more than two hours and attempted to make two different keys, but he was unable to get the key and alarm to connect to my vehicle. Neither key worked, and my problem was not resolved. When I told him I was not willing to pay because the service had not resulted in a working key, he took one of the keys he had made, twisted it, and threw it forcefully onto the ground in front of me. I found this behavior to be unprofessional. I left without knowing exactly what keys had been made or inserted into my vehicle. This concerned me because I don't have technical locksmith experience, and I was left wondering whether the unsuccessful attempts could have caused other issues, including possible damage to the ignition or lock system. I then contacted a different mobile locksmith, who diagnosed the issue, programmed the key and alarm correctly, and had my vehicle working in less than 30 minutes. This was my personal experience. I recommend that customers ask for a clear explanation of the work being performed, an upfront estimate, and confirmation that the technician has the correct equipment, technical ability to program their specific vehicle's key and alarm system, and experience working on their make and model before authorizing service. BEWARE! Owner SABIR is a scammer and very unprofessional. He charged me $300 for 1 key fob and $50 for my Valet key to be "activated" and when i tried using it my alarm would go off. i called honda service team and they assured me valet keys cant be activated in any way. Sabir also said the key fob battery had been sitting for a while so I may need a battery replacement for it. i asked if he had any extras and he said he would have to go buy it and charged me $20 more. Honda service team said $375 for 2 original key fobs With activation. do your research and stick to your dealership! I also tried to talk to him about the key not being activated and how my alarm would go off after using it, he said it was activated and tried showing me codes on his machine And said it might be because of an off market alarm. unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this specific company. had them come out to unlock an office door, they were unable to do so. the only solution the offered was to have the lock drilled and replaced, it seemed like an up charge to me. contacted anderson lock and safe and they were able to unlock the door within a minute of their arrival. the plus side of this company is that they have fast communication with the client and arrive at the time promised. read more
