Do not recommend this locksmith service! They late and charge me over price. I asked over the phone how much and they didn't provide any price. After I wait almost 3 hours the technician arrived and quoted me higher price than first company I called earlier, I should've go with the first company that quoted me over the phone. Called around to see who could make me a spare key and they promised to send someone within 20 minutes. Unfortunately after an hour of waiting I let them know that I had to leave for work. They told me someone was a few minutes away. The guy that showed up was obviously in a hurry and complained that my key was hard to duplicate but of course he had the skills. If being almost 45 minutes late wasn't a red flag that certainly should have been. He gave me what looked like a used key and then took off without a receipt before I could even test it. Shocker... my car didn't start. Tried to call but got sent to voicemail. Needless to say I would never recommend. Save your money and go to the dealership. read more

We too had an extremely positive experience with Care Mobile, working with Najib. We needed to rekey all the doors on our house on short notice for security reasons. It was actually a challenging job. Care Mobile handled it all cheerfully, same day, on a weekend, for a reasonable cost. The existing locks were decades old, with no exposed screws. I had changed other locks in the past but I quickly realized I needed an experienced locksmith this time. GREAT BUSINESS!! This is the BEST locksmith on the Monterey Peninsula! We were visiting from out of state and lost the keys to our van. The AAA guy called another locksmith for us with 831 in it's name and said they would be by soon. An hour passed, we called AAA again and was told the 831 guy would be here in 15 minutes. TWO hours later, we called the 831 locksmith guy who tells us that he came out and we weren't there. (Where would we be? We were STUCK) He said he called and we didn't pick up. Then he said he could come out now but would charge us DOUBLE. So to use him, it went from $200 to $400. Yeah right. We said we'd call someone else and he hung up before we could finish speaking. What a scammer and a jerk. I called Care Mobile and he showed up in 20 minutes and within 15 minutes we were able to drive away. He was so incredibly nice and friendly and my husband gave him a tip-because his attitude was everything! He's new to the area and is trustworthy and does what he says he will do. They said they would charge $120 for a lock out. When arrives they said they would have to drill the front door lock. They didn't need to do that and then said it would be over $200 and if paid cash it would be $180. Plus no receipt! When I told them they didn't need to drill - why was it this price? No answer. They are a rip off. Don't use them. read more
