AJ did a great job fixing the broken latch on my front door. I was suddenly locked out when it failed (and stuck in the closed position). He got to my house within a half hour of getting my call. The part I needed was under a lifetime warranty, so he explained how to ask for the company to replace it. He took off the broken latch, so I could use just the deadbolt in the mean time. The replacement part arrived in the mail, and he was there the next day to install it. He did not charge me a service fee for the second visit. I highly recommend him! read more

AJ was so friendly and competent that I thought he was from Texas! I urgently needed an automotive specialist locksmith to make an ignition key to replace the lost key for my aging mother's 1998 Blazer. Her Chevy was stuck on the side of a road in San Jose, but I live in Texas. AJ was pleasant to deal with on the phone, made time to attend to my emergency that day, and traveled to the Blazer location. Upon inspection, he found the ignition lock was damaged. He quickly changed plans to repair the ignition lock by getting the extra parts and installing them the same day. He made multiple keys for my mom, just in case a key escaped from her in the future. Then he recorded by video the working operation of the new key to unlock the car door and start the engine, sending me the images by text message. Wow! Fast and more than fair. One of our bathroom doors got locked from the inside and -- horror of horrors -- this is how and when we discovered that it's a key-lock doorknob. (Who puts one of those on a bathroom, and why?) Anyway, i tried all my tricks -- paper clip, bobby pin etc etc -- to no avail. Finally broke down, searched Yelp, explained my problem and hit the button to get 10 responses. If Xpress wasnt the first, it was among the first. My key stopped working for the deadbolt at my rental property and I could not get in. I contacted these guys via Yelp.com. They responded very quickly with a quote. Their quote sounded reasonable, so I booked a time to meet them at the property. The locksmith arrived on time, had all the tools of the trade. After trying my keys, the locksmith confirmed something must have happened to one or more pins inside the lock cylinder. Since I had a replacement deadbolt, I opted to have the locksmith drill the deadbolt. After a few minutes, the door was opened. I was happy to gain access again.
