I showed up and a young guy took 2 minutes to research it before telling me Apple didn't have the battery I needed anymore and he couldn't help me. I drove a mile up the street to Computer World, and within 15 minutes they had the battery ordered from Apple. I'm sorry I bothered the staff at Best Buy with my problem. I won't do it again. UPDATE: I got the call from Computer World yesterday that they had received my battery. Dropped the phone off this morning, went out for a nice lunch, came back and it was all set to go with a brand new Apple battery installed. Be advised. BEST BUY SERVICE SUCKS. They didn't even try.

    So here is my long history with Sound World - most of which I kept to myself until recently with…read morethe straw that broke the camel's back. Now I shall tell all. We had Sound World install a home theater system and multi-room sound system in our house roughly 8 years ago. Overall the installation was good until I caught the installer drilling a large hole in the ceiling and stapling a large cable along the entry door from the garage (had they discussed options with me first, I would have informed them that we had a chase installed for the purpose of running cables to the attic). I was also unimpressed when he seemed oblivious to the multiple black fingerprint smudges on the ceiling when he installed the speakers. We later had a receiver go bad which they replaced under warranty. Turns out the replacement was used (I found this out when I was programming it and found someone else's internet info stored in it). Fast forward to 2020. With technological changes since our initial installation, we wanted to make some modifications to our system so I stopped by their store to schedule an appointment. They wouldn't even pencil me into their appointment book (2 months out) without a credit card on file! I can understand confirming payment arrangements prior to sending a technician an hour away, but how about taking care of it with a phone call while verifying the appointment perhaps the day before the scheduled installation date? To be unwilling to even schedule an appointment without a credit card on file was absolutely insulting to me - especially after we had previously spent $12,000+ with them!!! I told them as much and told them I would look elsewhere. Now for the straw.... We needed a new bulb for our projector. It seems it is something we have to order from a dealer so I contacted Sound World early on December 27. I was told someone would get back to me. By the afternoon of the 28th, I had not heard back. After an internet search, I found a company called Jaspertronics. I called them, gave them my make/model number and they knew what bulb I needed within seconds. I received my order from them on the 30th. Jaspertronics provided me with excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service. Those are the qualities Sound World is lacking. 24 days and counting - I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK from Sound World!! I obviously don't recommend them.

    Extremely painful Extremely long wait…read moreExtremely unorganized Extremely bad management Extremely horrible communication Extremely unreliable Extremely disrespectful Extremely expensive Extremely corrupt The list can go on but "Extreme Audio" I didn't get. Over 4 months and they still can't get the job done! I didn't ask for anything wildly crazy. I just needed to replace my dead audio radio. I thought supporting a small business would be nice. WRONG! On 12/21/21, I called to get a replacement radio for my car. I was quoted $300. The next morning, I went in to put down 50% deposit. I told them I need my back camera to work. Chris told me I needed to upgrade to a $500 radio in order have back camera. I agreed and put down $400. I was told they will call me once my radio is delivered. Nothing for 3 weeks! Not a single phone call. On 1/22/22, I called to follow-up on the status of my radio. The guy on the phone couldn't find my order. He put me on hold for a long time. When he finally came back, he told me the radio hasn't arrived yet. I'm sure this was went they finally ordered the radio. On 2/4/22, I called again. Still no radio. I asked to talk to the manager, Chris. I was told he already left for the day. I asked that he called me back on Monday. Monday came and no call. On 2/8/22, I got a call to schedule a time to install my radio. We scheduled for 2/11/2022. I thought the drama was over. Not even close! On the day of installation, I was told they didn't know I needed my back camera to work. I reminded them why I upgraded my radio. They said they have no records of such a request. Suddenly, they change their story to needing an adapter to make the back camera work. Since I already paid for labor, I agreed to buy the adapter for an extra $65. I waited for Chris to place an order for the adapter. I was told it would take at least 2 weeks to get it delivered since it's coming from Florida. On 2/22/21, I called to follow up on my adapter since no one called me. Once again, the person on my phone has no clue. He said he will call Chris to get the status. On 3/8/21, I called again to follow up. I was told Chris said the adapter hasn't arrived. Shit! They might as well order the dam part from China! It would be here already! On 3/15/21, I called again to request a refund. I was told Chris is on vacation and I should call back tomorrow to talk to him. On 3/16/21, I called at 1PM and finally talked to Chris. His excuse was that he was on vacation. We scheduled a time to finish installing my back camera the following week. On 3/23/21, I arrived at 9AM to get my camera installed as scheduled. The guy at the front looked puzzled and couldn't find anything scheduled in the computer. He left to the back and came back with a lame excuse that Chris will need to reschedule for tomorrow morning since his kid is sick (I'm almost sure Chris is sitting back there in his little office hiding). Being a parent, I understand about sick kids but it's not that hard to just call and let me know so I didn't have to drive across town in rainy bad weather. I left with no real schedule on when exactly I should come back and they never called me to follow up either. No surprise! This shit show has gone long enough and I have been as understanding as humanly possible. I'm done chasing them to do their job! They have a disclaimer on their invoice stating, "NO REFUNDS and all sales are final.... Anything not picked up 90 days will be sold or thrown away." I'm guessing they want to stall my installation so they can keep the extra money without doing any work, or they have been lying and never got the part to install my back camera. If you can afford to wait months and chase them down like little kids to get "part" of your work done, go right ahead and contact them. My biggest regard is thinking a small business would do a better job and deserves to get paid. I wasted so much time and ended up paying over $700 for a simple car radio replacement. NEVER AGAIN! EXTREMELY CORRUPT!!! Not to mention... the entire experience felt sexist and racist too. Stay far away, women and minorities.

I received excellent customer service from there highly experienced staff. Guided me to exactly what I was looking for. They have a lot of choices but no too many so you don't get confused. They only Carry the best quality stuff even there low end is great at reasonable prices. There install are clean and solid. I've never had a better experience at any other electronics store. They have home audio also which I'm going to explore next year. I wish every business was this thorough and detailed with there dealings. 5 Stars all the way thanks guys

    I met these guys at Wisconsin Harley Davidson during the 2018 Milwaukee H-D Rally over Labor Day…read more They installed a Rockford Fosgate TM400X4ad Amplifier and Rockford Fosgate speakers on my 2017 Road Glide. At the time I questioned the use of "Velcro" as an install method for the amp. They told me it was the only way to do the install and make it fit. This week I took the inner faring off to have it painted and noticed the windshield was cracked at the base by the mounting screws. It would be hard to prove in court but I did see them use a drill driver to put the screws back in and I am sure that did not do my windshield any good. I also noticed the amp had fallen of the Velcro and was a little banged up. That explains the rattle I was hearing. After the initial install, I ended up asking for all the extra parts from the kit. They did not use the heatsink or mounting bracket for the Amp. This is a 400 Watt amp and I believe the engineers at Rockford Fosgate included a heatsink because it needs a heatsink. It is a good thing I saved this stuff. After watching a 15 minute you-tube video by Rockford Fosgate on how to properly install this, I reinstalled it correctly myself. It took about 30 minutes. I also noticed that they ran the power wiring over the gas tank rather than lift the tank to rout the wires properly in the factory H-D wire tray. I need to fix that next. I am sure these short cuts saved time but the result was a very crappy install. And let me point out they charged me plenty for that install. I have found no fault with the Amp and speakers, they are a big improvement over the stock Harley amp and speakers. One last tip, the Rockford Fosgate instructions tell you to set the amp to hi pass (this will limit the base). I believe they may be trying to prevent speaker failure. When I reinstalled mine I set the amp to "All Pass" and WOW!! did that wake up the system. It sounds awesome now. The guys at Extreme audio seem knowledgeable and were very nice, but they are taking shortcuts that they simply shouldn't take. They would do well to follow the Rockford Fosgate installation instructions. Contrary to what they said, everything fits just fine under the faring when installed per the instructions. If you have them work on your bike, tell them to skip the Velcro and do it right! Good Luck.

I was impressed with how clean the…read moreelectrical wiring was installed so I knew I found a place that could take on the two odd electrical wiring projects for my 24 year old vehicle. I explained what I wanted and how I wanted it to look. But I later realized I forgot to explain a key detail. Fortunately that detail was not overlooked by the staff. They did exactly what I had wanted anyway. The work was done better than how I explained it and the results exceeded my expectations. I expected to pay more than I did. I am very happy with the quality of the work and with the knowledge and how friendly the staff is. I'll be back for another project later this month. I made it to Extreme Audio for that second project and they did another great job with it. Very impressed. So what do I do? I go ahead and cut a wire by accident. Fortunately I realized what I had done and they fixed it for me no charge. Great service, very helpful and I am very pleased they are around!

    Custom Offsets Review…read more I really don't know where to start with this, i was completely played by Custom Offsets, i got scammed bad! Each person i talk to their gives me a different answer and story. They don't care about their customers. I always had to leave a message and wait for them to call me back which doesn't which really pushes the edge of when they say they will call back by. Also even tho with the holiday, i ordered a set of 4 wheels and a suspension lift kit. The lift kit arrived within a week or less of ordering (December 6th) and the wheels were listed as in stock. Well that became apparent to be false. The 6th was a monday. My order rep told me even tho it had a long projection since it was just wheels and ceramic coat that it should, for no reason, take longer the 10days or so to arrive to my house. Then it was the 9th and i got no updates on the wheels heading to or being done at the ceramic shop so i called customer service. At first the guy said that it hasnt arrived yet from their other where house (didnt tell me where that was) but then said "oh wait i see it, yeh it just arrived today a little after noon give or take" and then went on to talk about it should get to the ceramic shop today and if not tomorrow(10th) or monday the 12th and might take a day to cure before shipment. I said ok and call ended. I then called on tuesday the 13th to see an update with my wheels and the lady i spoke to said they havent arrived there at all, i then told her about my 12/9 call and she miraculously found the order and said yes its here but still not sent to ceramic. Couldnt give me an eta on that or whats going on, but said it should be there by the next day. So i called later in the day the next day (14th), had to wait again for them to call me back and when they did they gave me the same exact thing i got the day before...order wasnt there yet then they found it then it wasnt at ceramic yet. And no one was willing to go and find out WTF was going on with my order. Its a simple order. Not hard to complete! I could have gone elsewhere that was a little cheaper and got my order by the 12th and taken it to a local ceramic shop myself but even tho he cut off my questions and calls short, i still tried to help out with my sales rep because they live off of commission. So then became the 16th, they must surely have it ready to ship by now...but noooooo, when i called they gave me the same shit at the last calls and told me the shipping label was made but because it hasnt gone out so they will change it to express shipping to try and help with the speed time. But that didnt work cause it was picked up on the 20th!! And was still Ground shipping!!! So now i wont get em until after Christmas. Update while writing this: my wheels arrived and were completely damaged. Chunks of the rim chipped, scratches everywhere, 3 out of the 4 had no packing. Boxes were already beaten up. The 4th wheel had minute packing that obviously didn't do anything. And they never return my calls anymore. Even last week, well before their Christmas break. Left messages. Logged my place in the call back. Their voice machine says average wait time was 1hr. Never got a call back and its been a week now. If i could give -5 stars i would. The total handling physically and technologically of my order was worst then a SF homeless mans shit bucket. And since i haven't gotten a response yet there may have to be other action for my refund.

    Well first off, I purchased a brand new 2018 1500 Silverado from a dealer in Chilton. I then called…read moreCustom Offsets in Appleton to have a full build done on my truck because I had heard that's what they are known for. I ended up ordering a 4 inch BDS Lift with Fox Shocks -19 Offset Drop Star Rims and made it clear I wanted the rear offsets to match the front offsets, and they claimed it was a true to size lift fit (this was not at all true). It took roughly 2 weeks to get in and another week to schedule the lift install. My dealership had delivered the truck Monday and the lift was scheduled to be installed on Wednesday and finished by Thursday due to alignment issues is what Offsets had told me. They then called me Thursday and said that my dealership had given them the wrong information (which mind you, never happened). Needless to say, they were already behind because they hadn't called me until almost 4pm. Offsets claimed they were overnighting the new lift knuckles for Friday, but never kept in touch with me on the process or returned my calls from Thursday night to the next Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't until after my dealer had personally contacted the owner, had they finally contacted me back. And to top it off, through this whole situation they had horrible customer service and would never answer the phone. Next, I had told them NOT to post my truck on the Internet, or put their stickers all over my truck, but yet again, they did the opposite of what I asked. Also, in their video they called it a dealer build, which it was not. Finally, when I got my truck on Thursday the offsets were different from the rear of the truck to the front when I had told them I wanted them the same. So when I had called them back and finally got a hold of them to discuss why they didn't put spacers in the rear, they said it would take 4 to 5 weeks for new spaces to come in. So after paying a very large amount of money to get a custom look for my truck, they handled the situation very poorly and ended up taking about two months to finally get everything finished, when it should have been done in no longer than three weeks. Ultimately, I'm extremely upset with the whole process and I will not do business with Custom Offsets in the future, nor will I recommend them through word-of-mouth.
