Rather than submit bad reviews, I simply take my business elsewhere. That said, when businesses exceed my expectations, I want to make sure I let the world know. Spoiler alert... Grand Appliance and TV of Appleton exceeds expectations!!! I was looking for a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer set, and discovered Grand Appliance was a local Speed Queen dealer. Knowing I was going to buy a quality product that is manufactured by Alliance in Ripon, Wisconsin, I wanted to also make sure I was going to deal with someone that was professional, personal, and knowledgeable. Willie was this guy and more! He was on point from the very beginning, answering all my questions and doing whatever he felt was necessary to make sure I was taken care of. Between the purchase and delivery of my new washer and dryer, Grand Appliance had issues with their telephone lines (no fault of their own). This proved to not be a setback for them, as they continued to communicate with me through email and temporarily routing their phones through other store locations. Even after I made a last minute request to have a side vent kit installed on my dryer, Willie made sure my purchase was delivered as requested and on time. Emulating the characteristics of Willie, the gentlemen that delivered the washer and dryer were also outstanding. They were both very professional and cordial with my wife who was home to receive the delivery. They were also very careful to not damage any of my property, including our new puppy that was trying to nip at their ankles as they carefully maneuvered throughout my house. Well done, Gents! Topping everything off, I am thoroughly satisfied with my new Speed Queen Washer and Dryer! I encourage everyone to buy a Speed Queen from Grand Appliance. I would also encourage them to buy before September 30, 2019, taking advantage of Speed Queen's Anniversary Promotion of a 10 year Parts and In-Home Labor Warranty! Well, I must tell you I went there with great expectations and became sorely disappointed.. The delivery guys were great did a great job very kind and I appreciated that. But when they left, it took three days for the refrigerator I bought to get to the temperature where I could put food in it. So I called and talked to one of the sales guys there and he told me that he would Tell the person I bought it from all about it and they get back to me well that didn't happen so I give the guy who deliver it an A+, but I give the guy who sold it to me an F. Do not buy Bosch appliances from Grand Appliance. Bosch only has 2 approved service companies in the area and one, Howie Voight, will not service any Bosch appliances bought from here. Even with it the repair being under warranty. read more

Negative 10! horrible horrible horrible! worst customer service and business practice. I bought an oven through their website on Sunday. The next day they reached out to confirm the purchase and set up delivery date and time. We agreed on the following Thursday for it to be delivered. I was told I would be reached out the day before and a 3 to 4 hour delivery window. 2 o'clock on Wednesday I haven't heard anything so I reached out. they tell me that the product was damaged and discontinued and they can no longer get that item. They said feel free to shop their online inventory and purchase a Different model. I am a father of three daughters who has been out of an oven since Sunday. thinking I would have an oven to cook on by Thursday. I figured the three days without an oven would be all right. I now have to find a different oven, won't be refunding the $500 until 7 to 10 business days and more or less left between a rock a hard place. Do not buy from this business. As far as I'm concerned, they should all be fired and the doors should be closed. By elsewhere, you won't regret it. read more

Purchased LG W/D at this business. Delivery was timely and professional. Only issue was the salesperson did not inform us at the time of purchase that there was a separate installation price for the pedestals that we purchased. There are two installation prices: one for the W/D and a second for the pedestals. That explains the four stars: the pedestal installation cost should have been provided at the time of sale. Also, that cost was, in my opinion, superfluous. read more

Service is awful! Bought a washer and dryer (unbounded to us they were on clearance, WIN!) so they were delivered and the washer doesn't work. Brand new, doesn't even work! Tech comes out 6 days after delivered and locking mechanism is broke, fried. 2-5 days for parts. Called the salesperson, he was off but the lady said they can return, nothing else. Called when the salesman Brandon P was back, he offered the return on our blue appliances, and for us to buy not the exact set but a lesser one for $200 more! I get it was on clearance but they thing NEVER worked!!! Brand new!!! They did nothing for us besides the full refund. Place is a joke salesman and their manager are so rude and condescending to women. DO NOT BUY from them! read more

Very disappointing experience. Originally was great, we purchased a stove and had a great experience in store. However, then it was delivered and it didn't work. We were told someone would call us the following day to discuss our options. Nobody called. I then followed up the next day and requested a call back, still no call. So on day 3 we had to go to the physical building to have someone respond to us. There was no apology what so ever for the lack of communication. I therefor asked for a refund, however, they said they couldn't complete it there and would call us the next day at 10 am. 10 am came and went with no contact. So at 1230 I sent a message asking for a call. At 1:00 they called and again, no apology for the lack of communication. Very disappointed overall. read more

Bought a Frigidaire dishwasher and extended warranty yesterday from Grand Appliance & TV, Appleton, Wi. and since we didn't want to wait a week for install, we agreed to pick up dishwasher from their Wrightstown warehouse. Got installed today by a friend who installs dishwashers as a contractor but ended up the control panel didn't work. Called Matt, our sales rep, and he agreed to replace; we just needed to exchange dishwashers at warehouse. Apparently extended warranty only covers after one year? To wait and have them retrieve defective unit and install replacement was going to cost $169. I asked if they'd pay half the install cost for the inconvenience but the answer was an emphatic NO! After thinking about it we decided to go elsewhere to purchase another dishwasher and return their washer to their warehouse and call it a day with Grand Appliance. What most business owners fail to understand is the Lifetime Value [LTV] of their customers. Individual customers contribute to a business's revenue in multiple ways. Direct repeat purchases over many years are an obvious source. Others include indirect contributions, such as referrals and word-of-mouth effects. I don't know what the LTV is for Grand Appliance & TV but I'm sure it's well over $80. What they also probably don't understand is that a disgruntled customer will tell 10 people of their bad experience whereas a satisfied customer will likely tell no one. I purchased a new dishwasher just before Thanksgiving. We had problems from the get go. Contracted their customer service and then began playing tag with them and LG. Finally in the end I ended up paying 100$ more for the newest model. They wouldn't even deliver and install for free after all that. read more
