However, after speaking with Matt at Xplosive, I left better informed and confident that I was going to enjoy my experience with his company. From my initial consultation, Matt treated me as an equal, though he knew everything and I knew nothing. He waled me through what would give me the best "bang for my buck". I am no spendthrift, so walking me through an expense I deem a splurge was no easy task for the poor guy. Never did I feel bad about a question. And he used every means of communication, from in person, to email, to eventual phone. All the while, he guided me through the process. And with a time crunch, he even obliged me an early install. My car was dropped off at 9am and completed by 3pm (do NOT hold him to that kind of speedy delivery!). Matt fit the subwoofer and amp addition within my budget and completely the work with aplomb. I HIGLY recommend the novice AND the knowledgeable. Matt will take care of you. Thank you, Matt and Xplosive!

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Day Auto, after an extensive search in Milwaukee and…read moreWaukesha. I am located two hours from Day Auto, but I am so glad I trusted my gut and decided to make the 2+ hour trip out there. This may be long (I apologize), but I have had an experience worth sharing. I found the listing for the vehicle I was interested in on Craigslist, and immediately called Amy to inquire about the vehicle. She was incredibly helpful on the phone and provided all of the information she had, and was honest with me when she didn't know the answer. She discussed the history of the vehicle, how long they had it, and even opened the shop special hours just so I could make the commute out there to look at the vehicle. There was absolutely no pressure and she was incredibly respectful towards us. After taking the vehicle on a test-drive and checking it out we decided to move forward with the purchase. It was then that we went back to the shop and were able to meet Jon. He was extremely personable, honest and helpful, and he even switched out a bulb that we had mentioned was burned out. I left feeling happy about my purchase, and confident in the vehicle. Where Jon and Amy truly showcased their commitment to customer service however, was after I got home with the vehicle. A small issue had presented, and I sent Amy a message explaining what happened. She immediately called me, and within hours, she and Jon were in my area looking at the vehicle and addressing my concerns. I was absolutely blown away by their dedication to their customers, and their follow-through on standing behind the products they sell. They have earned a customer who will certainly return, and they have been given tremendous word of mouth at the college campus I work on. Jon and Amy showcase the values of a shop from back in the day where people were in the business because they care - not because they want to get rich. I may live two plus hours away, but I will absolutely be back to purchase our next family vehicle. As other reviewers have said - I would urge anyone to make the drive out to see what they have. Buying used is always a risk, but with Jon and Amy, you have the guarantee that they stand behind what they sell. Thank you again for the tremendous service you have provided to me. I am eternally grateful for the time and dedication you have placed into my vehicle - and making sure that my family has a safe and reliable vehicle. It was truly a blessing to find Day Auto and meet such a fantastic couple!

After I paid for the services I went out and started my car. While in park, my car felt like it was going to die. Then when I was driving at a slow speed and then accelerated it would slightly shake. When I was driving at a normal speed my car seemed fine. I ended up bringing my car to my regular mechanic because there was fluid on my garage floor the day after my oil change, I could smell something burning and my car still felt like it was going to die at a slow speed/in park. My mechanic then notified me that there was a total of 10 quarts of oil that was added at my recent oil change on Monday. I was also informed that having this much oil could have caused my engine to blow and seize the entire engine.

I first found out about this company Moon Marine through Craigslist. I answered an ad for a Tracker…read moreboat. I called Moon marine and spoke with the owner Mike Moon about the boat at Great length. Mike Moon answered many of my technical questions, and I was satisfied with the answers then. I then asked him if it would be possible to add a 9.9 kicker motor and separate controls onto this boat. Mike said it shouldn't be a problem, and that he actually had two 9.9 Mercury Motors that he wanted to get rid of, so dispensing with one of them would be really good for him. I asked Mike how much it would be, he said I'll call you back with the price. About an hour later Mike called me back, and told me the price, and I was very satisfied. I asked Mike if I could fill out a credit application so that I could buy the boat. Mike emailed me a credit application which I promptly printed out, filled out, scanned , and then returned to him. I emailed it off around 8 p.m. that night. I called Mike Moon the next day around 2 pm, and asked him about the status of my credit application. Mike said at that time that he did not know the status, and he would call me and let me know when he knew. I did not hear from Mike for the rest of the day. At around 8:30 the next morning I received a phone call from Mike, and he left a voicemail on my phone informing me that yes I had been approved for the entire amount of the boat, but somebody had put a deposit down on the boat, and it was as good as sold. As you can imagine, I immediately called him back and had some Choice words with him regarding him selling the boat out from underneath me, a move I would consider Shady at best, and possibly Criminal. As I spoke with Mike on the phone, it became increasingly obvious to me that he did not care at all that he had sold the boat out from underneath me, I asked him how he could do something like that? To which Mike responded with a snearing laugh: "sorry, sometimes you don't get everything in life that you want". As if I had done something wrong. Then he began to inform me about how much money the guy that was purchasing the boat had. At this point I asked Mike if my credit application had come in before he had taken the money for the down payment. Now Mike Moon then began to shudder, and shake in his voice. And then hung up on me. I'm not exactly sure why a person that owns a business would act in this deviant Behavior, but I would like this review to be a warning to anyone out there that is thinking about doing business with this company or this man. This person Mike moon is a shyster, and a skunk of the highest order. I wouldn't trust this man to watch a peanut for me. I will have this post as a warning to anyone, do not do business with this man or this company. You will regret it I promise you! I have notified the local chapter of my muskies Inc Club i am a member for tge last 12 years, about these nefarious dealings with Mike Moon. I have notified the Better Business Bureau and have filed a complaint with them. I have called The Fond du Lac police department and filed a report, as i can only be unsure of what he Mr. Moon might do with the personal information he obviously didn't need for the loan for a boat he had already sold without notifying me before i got the loan. I have called the Wisconsin district attorney, and am awaiting a call back. I also have contacted Craigslist to have all of Mr. Moons ads on their forum blocked. If this cannot be ubtained, then i will immediately flag ANY of Moon marines ads as scams immediately . I hope that this review helps anyone doing business with this company. Do not do business with this company you will regret it!
