I had requested a jump start through my insurance company for after my class ended at 9AM. Someone from Expert called me right before my class started and asked if I wanted to have them come jump it closer to 8AM. I told him I had a class until 9 and wouldn't be home until 9:20. He said no problem, he will push it back. Then he called me 4 times in a row at 8:55. I called back as soon as soon as class was done to let him know I would be home in about 15 minutes, and he was very rude and said "Okay?" like it wasn't his problem and told me I have to call my insurance again. I tried to ask him if someone tried coming to my house but he hung up on my mid sentence. Very rude, and frustrating because I changed plans in order to be home at this time, and now I'm stuck here waiting despite scheduling a time. read more

We hit a log in the middle of the highway because we couldn't safely avoid it which resulted in a flat tire and they were there to help within 20 min of us calling. My van was stuck and I couldn't get it out!! I called Expert towing in Oshkosh. They were very friendly over the phone and helpful. He said someone would be there right away. Within 5 minutes help was here!! The man that pulled me out was so nice and helpful also. I was out and back on my way in no time!! THANKS EXPERT!!! VERY DISHONEST! The local police told me how these weasels grabbed my sons car after the accident & the Police Sargent said they were sorry to hear how Expert had tried to grossly overcharge him! Expert dropped their originally obscene towing charge instantly when we threatened to hire a lawyer, but we have since learned that even after they arbitrarily cut the price in half--it was still hundreds more than the normal rate that their competitors quoted us. Monday night I got a flat tire, on the side of the highway, it was pitch black and I was alone...I did not have a spare tire so I called Expert Automotive for a tow. A truck arrived quickly (approx 20 minutes later), I was charged a very reasonable fee ($95) and the driver allowed me to ride in his cab so I did not need to find another ride home. I will definitely recommend Expert Automotive to friends and family in the future. read more

On January 30, 2015 I personally walked into Expert Automotive Services located at 910 W Murdock Ave in Oshkosh, Wi to set up an appointment for my vehicle for the following Friday on February 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. I specifically told them that I needed my vehicle repaired by 12:00 p.m. on February 6, 2015. I previously had a quote done the month before from Automotive Experts that I was charged $80.00 for. This quote specifically stated what needed to be done on my vehicle. When I set the appointment up, I restated what I would like for them to fix on my vehicle. The night before my appointment on February 5, 2015 I called to verify my appointment and add an extra item to the to-do list to be fixed. At noon on February 6, 2015 I called to see the status of my vehicle and they told me that they did not know why my vehicle was there. The automotive experts kept asking me what needed to be done on my vehicle because the computers just so happened to crash the same day of my appointment. I guess it was just bad luck. Once again let me restate that I called them to ask for the status, they did not call me to ask for any information. I went in to the location on Murdock Ave where they were holding my vehicle and as soon as I talked to the representative he told that he did not have my phone number to call me to ask why the vehicle was there. I then told him that my number was listed on the keys that I dropped off in their drop box the night before. He never offered to set up another appointment or try to resolve the issue. He gave me my keys back and I left unsatisfied. I would never recommend Expert Automotive Services, owned by Adam and Chad Pugh, to anyone. This business is completely unprofessional and lazy. They had my car for over 4 hours and I had to call them for the status of my vehicle. Please do not waste your time. You would have a better chance of asking someone on the side of road to help before the technicians at this place will. read more

Everyone said I needed a new transmission or hundreds of dollars in repairs. Adam made the most convincing case and sure enough, it was what he knew it was. Only charged $200 for a TCC apply valve. Very honest and excellent service, family-run business. read more

Got hooked up with this company when I called AAA to get a tire repair on a flat. Car was at my house in the garage - I was at work. Understandably, they will not go into a garage when no one home. SO AAA is supposed to tell them I will be home in 30 minutes. They are to call before coming, per AAA. Ten minutes after I get done talking to AAA, a tow driver calls me, SWEARING, that my "fu--ing address does not exist". I reassure him that it does. He again swears and tells me the surrounding house numbers (he must have been on Mapquest? Have an old GPS???) I assure him that my house is there, and tell him that I am still 20 minutes out, per my conversation with AAA. He gets VERY upset and yells some more, that he has many other customers and now will need to leave and come back. I inform him that AAA was told of my timing, and assured me it would not be an issue. After the man yelled again, I asked him not to come. I then called AAA and stated I never, ever want this company assigned to me again. They sent another company. No issues - they actually found my house! I hope, for the sake of this business, that this man was just crabby and that not all of the drivers are this way. I will not be doing business with them again. read more
