I explained I was looking for an alternative to dealer prices approaching 200/hr for labor. I had received some quotes from my dealer for work to compare after the promotional inspection I received for 45 dollars was complete at Rob's. Rob's must be short for robbery after seeing the quotes for comparable dealer work I was floored at the cost of their comparable service work. Are you guys kidding me I am not stupid all the quotes and estimates from Rob's went in the trash I felt I was getting ripped off. I felt misled when I told them I was looking for a lower priced independent repair shops to my dealer and got insane pricing for their labor and parts markup. Maybe they get away with it for high end cars very high end but "come on man"!

We had a clerical error that I didn't catch and signed off on, however Hexco still honored their price even when they didn't have to. Brady was low key, low pressure and not a pushy salesman at all. When it came to the dreaded Finance part, not only was Michael NOT force feeding warranty adders down our throats, he blew the interest rate out of the water from 3 other dealers we talked to. It was the most laid back transaction we have ever done. Cut to a few weeks later right before a big trip we planned with a campsite on the water, we had issues with the boat that were no fault of the Dealer's. Emily in Service was amazing and they got me in right away and when they couldn't fix it immediately, they offered me to take their demo boat to not ruin the trip. THIS is customer service and that is how you treat a customer. Even the Service dude was awesome when he came out to explain what was going on with the boat. 10/10 would recommend, they now have a customer for life.

However, after speaking with Matt at Xplosive, I left better informed and confident that I was going to enjoy my experience with his company. From my initial consultation, Matt treated me as an equal, though he knew everything and I knew nothing. He waled me through what would give me the best "bang for my buck". I am no spendthrift, so walking me through an expense I deem a splurge was no easy task for the poor guy. Never did I feel bad about a question. And he used every means of communication, from in person, to email, to eventual phone. All the while, he guided me through the process. And with a time crunch, he even obliged me an early install. My car was dropped off at 9am and completed by 3pm (do NOT hold him to that kind of speedy delivery!). Matt fit the subwoofer and amp addition within my budget and completely the work with aplomb. I HIGLY recommend the novice AND the knowledgeable. Matt will take care of you. Thank you, Matt and Xplosive!

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Day Auto, after an extensive search in Milwaukee and…read moreWaukesha. I am located two hours from Day Auto, but I am so glad I trusted my gut and decided to make the 2+ hour trip out there. This may be long (I apologize), but I have had an experience worth sharing. I found the listing for the vehicle I was interested in on Craigslist, and immediately called Amy to inquire about the vehicle. She was incredibly helpful on the phone and provided all of the information she had, and was honest with me when she didn't know the answer. She discussed the history of the vehicle, how long they had it, and even opened the shop special hours just so I could make the commute out there to look at the vehicle. There was absolutely no pressure and she was incredibly respectful towards us. After taking the vehicle on a test-drive and checking it out we decided to move forward with the purchase. It was then that we went back to the shop and were able to meet Jon. He was extremely personable, honest and helpful, and he even switched out a bulb that we had mentioned was burned out. I left feeling happy about my purchase, and confident in the vehicle. Where Jon and Amy truly showcased their commitment to customer service however, was after I got home with the vehicle. A small issue had presented, and I sent Amy a message explaining what happened. She immediately called me, and within hours, she and Jon were in my area looking at the vehicle and addressing my concerns. I was absolutely blown away by their dedication to their customers, and their follow-through on standing behind the products they sell. They have earned a customer who will certainly return, and they have been given tremendous word of mouth at the college campus I work on. Jon and Amy showcase the values of a shop from back in the day where people were in the business because they care - not because they want to get rich. I may live two plus hours away, but I will absolutely be back to purchase our next family vehicle. As other reviewers have said - I would urge anyone to make the drive out to see what they have. Buying used is always a risk, but with Jon and Amy, you have the guarantee that they stand behind what they sell. Thank you again for the tremendous service you have provided to me. I am eternally grateful for the time and dedication you have placed into my vehicle - and making sure that my family has a safe and reliable vehicle. It was truly a blessing to find Day Auto and meet such a fantastic couple!

The reason they gave was "it's a hard car to find and they sell really fast, if you don't buy it what if the next guy wants no miles on it". It's a baseless argument. I can't recommend enough just how unpleasant that is for me. I can't even imagine how they're supposed to make a sale without a test drive.

My mechanic then notified me that there was a total of 10 quarts of oil that was added at my recent oil change on Monday. I was also informed that having this much oil could have caused my engine to blow and seize the entire engine.
